Mike 2 talks about Kidi’s new song. According to the host of Adom FM‘s weekend entertainment show, Kidi’s latest banger, ‘Thunder’ is a curse to the Lynxx Entertainment artiste.

“I have sat down to listen to kidi’s Thunder song… I believe Kidi has cursed himself in the song and anytime he fails to obey the things he has said in the song, the curse will take effect…”

He made these pronouncements in a video making the rounds on social media.

He admits that the song is a great one but the words used by the musician are curses.

Also, he quoted quoted Proverbs 18:21 to make his case about how the lyrics of the song can have later implications.

“I really wish people who will sing will not follow with their minds…”

He added that the African has a strong belief in these type of things. Therefore, he believes he should try and change the song.

Zylofon Arts Fund is for the creative arts industry. The role is to help the creative arts industry employ thousand young and energetic Ghanaians. The Public Relations Officer for Zylofon Arts Fund, Frank Kwabena Owusu spoke about this outfit. He revealed that the institution has employed 100 people in all ten regions in Ghana.

According to him, the duty of the thousand employees is to sell movies financed by the Zylofon Arts Fund in their regions. He stated that it is to boost movie sales in Ghana.

Furthermore, he mentioned that the 100 people will embark on a door-to-door sales of Ghanaian movies to stop movie lovers from walking to shops to buy films.

Also, he spoke about the new Zylofon View app. He explained that the new platform is to help the dying the Ghanaian movie industry. Moreover, he added that movie producers earn about 80% of the total amount generated from movies uploaded on Zylofon View. He stressed that

“the movies should not be uploaded on any other online platform if you agree to put on Zylofon View.”

Moreover, movie fanatics would pay $3 to watch any movie on the Zylofon View platform.

Popular Ghanaian female television personality, Efia Odo talks about her relationship. She stated that her and her boyfriend don’t have sex. This is even though they kiss deeply.

Odo for a while now is a born-again Christian. Therefore, she stated that she and her boyfriend are practising courtship until he takes her to the altar at the right time.

have hit the recording studio for a new project.

The pair were featured on ‘Saucing’ by their father last year which is one of his hit singles.

This will therefore be their second single if the song is released.

Adom TV’s Morning Talk Show host, Nana Yaa Brefo reveals news about Kyeiwaa. According to her, popular Kumawood actress, Rosemary Boateng now washes bowls and sells food in the USA.

She made these revelations while speaking to Kumawood actor, Papa Kumasi on the Badwam show.

She disclosed this when they discussed the poor financial state of the movie industry in Kumasi. Also, about the quality of their movies.

Therefore, she used Kyeiwaa as a reference to buttress her point that the industry suffers from financial constraints. She stated that the actress now sells local food and washes plates for survival in the United States.

This year’s Social Media Week (SMW), a news platform and a worldwide conference touches on climate change adaptation, green businesses and innovation.

The theme for this year’s event is “Closer”. The conference would explore the dynamics of social media and how climate change was affecting the lives of individuals globally.

The event takes place at Accra Mall from September 10 to 14, 2018.

Mr. Ahuma Adodoadji, Marketing and Communications Director at Ghana Climate Innovation Centre (GCIC) said issues about climate change were often rare in the public’s daily conversation.

Mr. Adodoadji explained that SMW was working in partnership with GCIC. Therefore, this year’s edition of SMW would include activities such as green tech innovation exhibition. Also, discussion forums, as well as presentations from entrepreneurs in the green space.

The outlined activities, he said, would be crowned with “the Search for the Next GreenGo”. Also, launch of the Ghana Climate Innovation Centre’s Do Better, Go, Green campaign.

The Marketing and Communications Director said the search for the next GreenGo was a call to all green and eco-entrepreneurs to pitch their idea or innovation to a panel of judges and who may stand a chance of winning over $10,000 worth of incubation support from the Ghana climate innovation Centre.

Climate change effects have manifested on the entire globe and particularly on developing countries including Ghana that is relatively vulnerable.

Lynx Entertainment signed artiste, Kuami Eugene reveals the advice given to him by his mother about women.

The singer disclosed this when he appeared in an interview on Joy Prime’s “Tonight Show” with the host Andrew Andoh Adote.

Moreover, according to the him, his mother never spent time talking to him about women. However, he remembers she once told him not to attack women.

Okyeame Kwame is a legendary Ghanaian Musician. He is one of the pioneers of hiplife.

The rapper’s wife is Annica Nsiah Apau. She used to work for multinational companies. Also, she has a law degree. However, she now concentrates her efforts on the Okyeame Kwame Brand.

She is now fully the Brand Manger for Team OK and has even written and launched a brand book for Okyeame Kwame.

Nana Aba Anamoah gets more accolades

Avance Media released their annual list of the 100 most influential young Africans for 2018.

Firstly, the list contains as many as 8 Ghanaian names. However, that number pales in comparison to the totals racked up by other countries such as Nigeria and South Africa.

Notable on the list are dancehall star Stonebwoy, news anchor Nana Aba Anamoah and Nana Appiah Mensah, Menzgold Ghana & Zylofon Media CEO.

Also, on the list includes some big names from Africa like Mo Salah and his Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane, Davido, Cassper Nyovert and others.

Avance Media compiles the list annually.

Ghanaian highlife legend, Rex Omar talks about current crop of musicians. According to him, he was “happy” that the Nigerians snubbed and humiliated Ghanaian artistes such as Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.

He stated that this occurrence will be a big lesson to these Ghanaian artistes tag themselves as local champions, kings and what you can think off.

He made these statements in an interview with Doreen Avio on JoyNews. Also, he stated that, the number of local champions in this country is too much. Therefore, this will teach them a lesson for them to know their standard outside the Ghanaian territory.

He advised Ghanaian artistes to stop claiming bosses in this country and work hard.

“I am happy for what has happened in Nigeria, actually am very happy…Because we have too many local champions in this country.

When your son is not doing well in his class and he comes home and you always pampering him, when he goes out there then he will see the real fishes in there, it’s good and a wake-up call for all of us”

He added that Nigerian artistes are humble. Also, they concentrate on winning the fans from the streets before thinking about winning fans on the stage. Meanwhile, Ghanaian artistes are too proud and they don’t even want to play local shows.
