Lydia Forson Looks Amazing In New Photos

Outspoken Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson shares new photos on social media. Furthermore, she showed off her curves in the pictures.

The actress is undoubtedly one of the endowed celebrities. She shared the photos on Twitter.

She is in a beautiful black jumpsuit with red trimmings. Also, she let her natural hair fly free.

Background
Lydia Forson was born in Mankessim, Ghana, after which she moved with her family to Kentucky, US. It was in the US that she had her early life education at Wilmore Elementary school. At nine years of age, she relocated with her family back to Ghana where she continued her formative education at an international school known as Akosombo.

She later joined St. Louis Secondary School, Kumasi for her senior secondary school education. Just like most other famous Ghanaian actors and actresses, Lydia Forson is a university graduate. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Information studies from the University of Ghana.

Lydia was the first Ghanaian national to win the prestigious African Movie Academy Award (AMAA) for the Best Actress in Leading Role in 2010. She managed to beat even the most decorated of all the African actors to scoop the award. In the year 2009, she got nominated for the same award she later bagged to the dismay of other actors/actresses.

Miss Forson has starred in movies such as Phone Swap, Isoken, Keteke, Sidechic Gang, The Perfect Picture, among others.

Controversial dancehall act, Shatta Wale has set social media ablaze once again with his latest post.

According to the ‘Baby’ hitmaker, the President of the land has banned his Ministries including him from travelling outside the country.

Shatta artiste took to his twitter handle to make this statement known to the public.
He added that any promoter or anyone who wants his services outside Ghana should kindly visit the President at the Flagstaff house for discussions since he doesn’t want to lose his job.

Freda Ryhmes Eulogizes Ebony

Fast rising Ghanaian artiste, Freda Rhymz has said that the late dancehall act, Ebony Reigns was someone she really looked up to, in the early stages of her music career.

Freda Rhymz, real name, Freda Baffour Awuah is the winner of the 2017 edition popular music

reality show, MTN Hitmaker.

She has carved a niche in the Ghanaian music circles, as she is known as the “Queen of Rap”, for her smooth flow.

The ”Jammin” hitmaker also referred to as ”Saa Chicki No” in an interview with GNA

Entertainment, revealed her admiration for Ebony.

According to her, Ebony had been a source of motivation in her musical endeavors.

“I really liked Ebony’s music and she was someone I looked up to,

Freda Rhymz told GNA Entertainment at the launch of the seven edition of the Hitmaker music reality show.

She further reiterated her desire to thrive in very competitive music circles, largely dominated by men.

“The truth is that, there is a heavy male domination in the Ghanaian music circles. But I think women can be equally successful

in this industry if they continue to produce back to back hit, which would keep them vibrant and active,” she ended.

Nana Aba Anamoah Jabs Mark Okraku Mantey Over SarkNation PRO

Mark Okraku Mantey spoke about Nana Aba Anamoah’s appointment as PRO for Sarknation. He made these statements as a panelist on Hitz FM.

Furthermore, his concern was about her act of responding to every comment on social media.

The Slip Entertainment boss commented that it was “not necessary” of her to “respond to everything”. Moreover, he suggested that it will be difficult for her to do the job as the entertainment space is unlike the normal news space.

He stated that:

“I know Nana Aba always likes to respond to anything. If you are good in news and you want to shift into PR, then you should know you are not necessarily supposed to respond to everything.”

CEO of Bullhaus Entertainment, Bulldog reveals that he regrets leaving his former artiste Iwan. Furthermore, he described his former artiste as the most prolific reggae/dancehall artiste in Ghana.

Moreover, they had personal reasons that caused the split in their working relationship. Iwan apologised to his manager to let go of whatever caused their relationship to turn sour. I Will Think Twice Before Performing At My Co-Celebrity’s Event – Episode

Fast rising Ghanaian artiste, Theophilus Nii Ardey Otoo Junior, known in showbiz as “Episode” aka “Dj Baddy” has said he would only perform at a colleague celebrity’s event upon a second thought.

Episode made this revelation in interview on the beat FM entertainment flavor show with host  DJ emparo.

He was answering a question concerning the late ebony’s father’s interviews showed on GH one TV and most of the media houses in Ghana.

The ‘Bedroom Gun’ crooner was asked if he would be able to perform at such events should any ever occur again. His however  answered that he’d have to think twice about it before performing.

It became major news recently how, in an interview granted by Mr Opoku-Kwarteng,

the late Ebony’s father revealed that bullet claimed to have paid artistes who performed at Ebony’s funeral concert.

Subsequently, those artistes came out saying, they never took any money for the event.

Social media is abuzz with this news about Strika.

The young actor who featured in the ‘Beasts Of No Nation’, Strika is destitute now. Moreover, this was the same movie that catapulted Abraham Attah to fame.

However, it seems life has not been that easy for the lad after that movie. This is because he was spotted by the roadside begging for money. It was a disheartening sight. Starr FM’s Caleb Nii Boye was the one who saw the young actor by the roadside.

Caleb in a Facebook post disclosed that Strika sells yam at Agbogbloshie Market in Accra.

“I am sad this morning.
I was heading to the Ghana Institute of Journalism campus and I met Striker. You would ask who is Striker? Striker starred in the movie Beast of No Nations. The said film that made Abraham Attah.
Today I met him begging for money on the road leading to GIJ. I called him and brought him to campus.
Speaking to him he tells me he now works with a gentleman who sells Yam at Agbogbloshie Market
He stays with his grandma at North Kaneshie.”

I Have Removed ‘Shatta’ From My Name, I’m Now ‘Michy’

Michelle Diamond Gboganah, best known as Shatta Michy, the baby mama of Dancehall act Shatta Wale has disclosed that she no longer bears the name Shatta.

According to her, she’s a changed person and would hence like to be addressed as Michy.

It would be recalled that we brought you an article last week where Michy admonished Ghanaians to take her new image seriously.

The ‘Cheating’ singer, in an interview with Graphic showbiz described Ghanaians as unserious people. This she attributed to the fact that they are not supporting her new image and they are not liking her post on social media like they used to do.

She elaborated that she used to get plenty of reactions on her half-naked photos. All that has however ceased ever since she turned over a new leaf and started her woman empowerment project.

Speaking in a recent interview with MzGee on Gee Spot, she revealed that the young crazy girl who came to the entertainment industry as Shatta Michy is now a changed person.

The new Michy is embarking on women empowerment project and has refrained from what she used to do with Shatta Wale.

She further revealed that she’s a grown woman now and has realized her mummy duties.

We all have someone we look up to as a role model or mentor as we grow up.

For the Swedru-based artiste, Patapaa Amisty, his role model has always been celebrated Highlife artiste, KK Fosu.

According to him, he started his career by mimicking ‘Anadwo Yede’ hitmaker

Patapaa believes that he has the same physique as KK Fosu and refers to him as his father in the industry.

In a conversation with JoyNews’ MzGee, Patapaa disclosed KK Fosu praised him for his agility on their first encounter.

“..On my first encounter with KK Fosu, he told me I shall live long because I am just like him and if you take a critical look you see the resemblance, the body always looks same,” he said.

Actress and TV presenter, Gloria Osei Sarfo responds to calls for her to settle down as most of her colleagues.

Furthermore, the TV presenter spoke about these developments to Zionfelix.net at the Exclusive Men of The Year Awards. She stated that she is happy to hear the public show concern about her marriage. However, she believes it is not yet time for her to tie the knot. According to her, marrying and having kids at this time is also important to her as a lady but she does not want to rush.

Also, she reiterated that she wants to put the right things in place before exchanging nuptials. This is because she wants the best for herself and her children.

We Didn’t Abandon Strika, He Run Away From His Foster Home – Manager(VIDEO,PRESS RELEASE)

The manager of Strika and Abraham Atta has debunked news circulating in the media that Strika has been abandoned to a cruel fate after his role in the Netfelix movie, Beast of No Nation.

News of the child actor, now turned a street beggar went viral on Monday August 21 on social media. According to the reports, Strika is now a beggar on the streets.

However, reacting to this news, Mawuko Kuadzi, who was also one of the casting team members for the award winning movie has rubbished such reports.

In an interview with Zionfelix.com, he revealed that Strika has not been abandoned as per reports.

According to him, the young boy is a truant who keeps running away from his foster home.

“This is not the first time he has run away, he has run away like ten times. Sometimes he comes back and sometimes we find him, we always go after him,” he said

He also stated that Strika’s, real name, (Emmanuel Nii Adom Quaye) situation was not new as the lad keeps absconding school.

Mawuko added that school authorities had done their best to keep Strika in school but to no avail.

“There are measures but he finds a way to escape. The school has done a lot yet he still escapes, the last time he signed an undertaking that if he runs away, he should be expelled from the school [yet he absconded],” Mawuko noted.

The manager debunked suggestions that Strika’s truancy could be a result of maltreatment.

He disclosed that the $30,000 the young man made from the 1% Netflix deal was intact in the trust and will be made available to him when he turns 18.

“…So the film sold and 1% ($30,000) was given to him and 1% was given to Abraham, his actually was put in an account with two signees, Joey and Popi, who worked on the film.

The money is still in the account; there is a plan which he knows. The money has not been touched. It is still lying there for him and he has been told when he turns 18 he has the right to the money,” Mawuko revealed.

Emmanuel Nii Adom Quaye, rose to fame after playing the role of Strika,

a mute child soldier in the award-winning 2015 American war drama film, ‘Beast of No Nation’.

In a press release spotted on the official Instagram page of Mr Kuadzi further addressed the issue in five points.

Mawuko further revealed that Strika is now back at their camp. He also thanked Ghanaians for their concerns raised since the news went viral.

Strika Of “Beast Of No Nation” Fame Now A Beggar

It has appeared that Strika, who shot to global fame alongside Abraham Attah for his performance in Netflix’s ‘Beasts of No Nation’ film has not been as lucky as the latter.

Real name Emmanuel Nii Adom Quaye, has been reported to have been abandoned to a cruel fate.

A Facebook user, Caleb Nii Boye made this sad revelation on his Facebook on Monday morning.

His post reads;

“I am sad this morning. I was heading to the Ghana Institute of Journalism campus and I met Striker. You would ask who is Striker? Striker starred in the movie Beast of No Nations. The said film that made Abraham Attah.

“Today I met him begging for money on the road leading to GIJ. I called him and brought him to campus. Speaking to him he tells me he now works with a gentleman who sells Yam at Agbogbloshie Market. He stays with his grandma at North Kaneshie”.

This news, however, came as a shock, as Kobina Amissah-Sam who also featured in the Beast of no Nation movie, stated that all the kids who took part in the movie have been well taken care of in an interview with MzGee on Hitz FM in 2016.

He is reported to have said;

“They have not been forgotten, they have really been taken care of. They are not lacking now as they used to so everything is cool for them now. He has never been in school before but after the production, producers of the movie felt that they have to put him in school.

“I don’t think that it is Netflix that is taking care of them, it is the producer who wants to help the kids. He is taking care of the three kids, Abraham, Striker and there is one other guy called Justice who stepped on Agu’s head when he was caught” he said.

Beasts of No Nation is a 2015 American war drama film. It was written, co-produced and directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, who acted as his own cinematographer. The movie centers on a young boy who becomes a child soldier as his country goes through a horrific war.

Shot in Ghana and starring Idris Elba, Abraham Attah, Ama K. Abebrese, Grace Nortey, David Dontoh, and Opeyemi Fagbohungbe, the film is based on the 2005 novel of the same name by Uzodinma Iweala ― the book itself being named after a Fela Kuti album.

Obaapa Christy To Release 14th Album In October

Ghanaian gospel musician, Obaapa Christy is set to release her fourteenth album come October.

Moreover, this is her first album after she was ordained as a Reverend Minister in the United States. The six-track album which comprises of both worship and praises seeks to inspire, motivate and bless Gospel lovers all over the world.

Furthermore, her manager, Quame Owusu Daqua mentioned that this was the right time for the album. He disclosed that

“as Christians, God directs us as to when to come out. We waited for His time and this is the right time that He has given us.”

Moreover, the host asked if there were any collaborations made with other artists. Quame only smiled and asked her teeming fans to wait for October.

The album is under the label of Francoba Management. It has six songs with W’agye me as the album title.

Obaapa Christy is currently in Europe for some shows and is set to join Gospel Artiste Noble Nketsiah for a charity concert in the Netherland and UK.

Sarkodie Used 8 Months To Shoot ‘Borga’ Video – Philanthropist

Mr James Korsah-Brown, who is the brain behind Korsah-Brown support and karnival has revealed that Sarkodie used 8 months to shoot “Borga” music video.

“Borga” is one of the songs with hardcore-rap delivered by the African rap king released about 9 years ago. It talks mostly about the ‘fake’ lifestyle of some Ghanaians who travel back home from abroad.

Mr-Korsah Brown, who is also a corporate banker and philanthropist was part of Duncwills Entertainment management team.

Duncwills Entertainment was formerly known as of kasahari level.

They nurtured and raised most of the Tema based artistes which included Sarkodie.

According to him, it took them 8 months to shoot the visuals for ‘Borga’. He also added that, as of that time, Sarkodie had never traveled outside of Ghana before.

“Do you know one secret about Sarkodie?, when he did that song ‘Borga’, he had never traveled abroad before so all the verses were just made belief,” he said.

He went further to reveal the hustle and difficulties they had to go through in shooting the video.

One of such according to him was then a novelty in securing an airplane and a tarmac for the video shoot.

“It took us 8 months to shoot Borga video”, he added.

Mr Korsah was made these revelations during an interview with Amansan Krakye on Radio Central.

James Korsah-Brown is a native of Saltpond in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region. He has initiated a lot of interventions in rural communities through his, not for profit organization.

He is currently putting together one of the biggest events dubbed KorsahBrownKarnival to be staged in Saltpond on Friday 24th August 2018 which will witness performances by both mainstream and up and coming artistes.

The 2018 Exclusive Men of The Year Africa Awards was a glamorous ceremony. The ceremony took place at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra over the weekend. Furthermore, the awards ceremony is to honour men who excelled in various fields in the past year.

Moreover, among them was the ultimate winner Togbe Afede XIV. Other winners included Okyeame Kuame, Kuami Eugene, Stonebwoy, Isaac Dogboe, Daddy Lumba, and Dr Moses De-Gaulle Dogbatsey.

In attendance were former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, MUSIGA boss Obour. Also, boxing legend Prof Azumah Nelson, broadcaster Abeiku Santana, actresses Salma Mumin, Roseline Ngissah, and many others.

Since the event was about men; the men came out looking dapper. They were in several different suits and tuxedos.

Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom Sets Up Music Group, GN Vocals

President of Groupe Nduom, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom sets up a new choir for his GN Groupe of companies. Furthermore, he calls them GN Vocals.

Moreover, at a ceremony at Coconut Grove to appreciate customers of the lodging place, the choir performed. Also, they charged the atmosphere with a harmonious song in order to release a bit of stress from the audience.

They sang solemn praise to God for inspiring the members of the company to this far. After their sterling performance, the choir was applauded for a good job.
