Afrobeats/Hip-Hop artiste, Michael Takyi-Frimpong, better known as Lord Paper seems to have turned over a new leaf. This follows his meeting with the founder of the Perez Chapel International Church, Bishop Charles Agyin Asare.
This move comes after his 2016 controversial x-rated “Awurama” video backfired, attracting so many criticisms to the extent of affecting his sprouting music career.
Lord Paper in a latest post on Instagram shared a photo of himself with the powerful man of God.

West-side based rapper, Kofi Kinaata reacts to the claims that he called the Lynx entertainment signed artiste, Kuami Eugene a thief.
Moreover, according to Kinaata, he never said Kuami Eugene is a thief. However, reporters twisted his words.
“I never said Kuami Eugene stole songs. It’s the reporters who twisted what I said. The headlines did not carry what I said in the interview right.
“I did not want to answer the question but the interviewer kept on pushing. What I remember saying was that we as musicians think alike and sometimes it’s a coincidence.

Award-winning singer, Adina Thembi Ndamse, popularly known as Adina, has revealed that she’s does sewing apart from doing inspiring songs to warm the hearts of music lovers.
According to the Ghanaian-South African, she had to contemplate between music and sewing whilst she was choosing the career she wanted to do.
She however, noted that, music has been something she has always loved to do even though she equally admires sewing.
The “Makoma” hitmaker further revealed that, she once sewed her own dress to the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Event.
“What I like doing the most aside music is sewing and sometimes cooking. I have sewed a lot of women’s wear. I think about two years ago, I used to wear dresses I sewed myself during my stage performances. With the assistance of my mum, I sewed most of my VGMA red carpet dresses. I used to sew almost every dress I wore to special occasions. In my posts on Instagram, I acknowledge myself when I wear the dresses I make.” She said in an interview with Kasapa FM’s Kojo Preko Dankwah on Kasapa Entertainment.
Adina, also disclosed that there have been instances where she had played free shows for people since she started her music career in 2008. She addressed those moments as days she would consider as career building days.
The 28-year old singer added that, she once performed in South Africa, where her father comes from.
“My mum is a Fante and my dad is a South African. Last year I went to South Africa and I was asked to perform. It wasn’t really a show but it was somewhat like performing to viewers of a television morning show. A TV station called ETV. They made me sing from Let Me Go to about four songs. And I also performed Too Late on the other show.” She said.
Adina disclosed that, she is looking forward to do something remarkable in South Africa and maybe feature some known South African artistes.

The management of Exclusive Events Ghana, organizers of the Miss Ghana Beauty Pageant have gladly accepted the resignation of Margaret Dery, the winner of the 2017 edition in good faith.
A statement by Exclusive events stated that the;
“Management of Exclusive Events Ghana are very focused and ever determined to use the Miss Ghana Beauty Pageant
to help the poor,
needy and the vulnerable in rural areas and deprived communities and absolutely nothing can distract us from this noble journey.
“Exclusive Events Ghana Gladly Accepts the Resignation of Margaret Dery.
It has come to our attention through the media that the winner of the 2017 edition of the Miss Ghana beauty pageant Margaret Dery has resigned.
It concluded that “Exclusive Events Ghana gladly accepts the resignation of Margaret Dery”.
“The management of Exclusive Events Ghana,
the organizers of the Miss Ghana beauty pageant have gladly accepted the resignation of Margaret Dery in good faith”.
Organizers went on and wished the 2017 winner, Miss Margaret Mwintuur Dery success in her next career.
“We wish Margaret Dery well in her next career
and we do pray that she will uphold the ethics of professionalism,
respect for contracts as well as show the necessary respect to the new authority she finds herself under.”
Miss Dery was crowned on Saturday, October 7, 2017. She however, tendered in her resignation letter to organizers of the event on Tuesday, July 31, 2018. This according to her is because the whole pageantry is a scam.
In the letter, she requested Exclusive Events Ghana to reconsider the implementation plan as she is unable to continue with the projects assigned her.
Meanwhile, Exclusive Events Ghana will on August 2, 2018 launch the 2018 edition of the pageant.
