I Didn’t Mean To Show My Nipples – Victoria Lebene

A few days ago, actress Victoria Lebene made headlines when a photo of her went viral showing her nipples seeking to escape from her blouse.

She was highly blasted by some social media users who claimed she was just seeking attention with such a photo.

But the 29-year-old actress, in a recent interview has denied such claims saying that she is no attention seeker thus she didn’t need such a stance to catch anyone’s eye.

“No, not at all, that is not me; I am not an attention seeker and I know the right things to do to get to the top. The more reason, I believe in hard work and bidding my time”, she said.

Lebene went on “I know when the time is right; I will get there but to leave home with the intention of doing this to get to the top? Ohh no.

“As someone who knows how important it is to build a brand, keep and maintain it, I will not engage in a thing like that on purpose.

“I feel bad myself and this is not something I would want people to emulate. That part of the body is supposed to be private and not for public viewing”, Victoria Lebene told Graphic Showbiz.

She however however blamed the situation onthree things, thus, wardrobe malfunction, wrong pose and bad photographers.

“It was at MzVee’s birthday party at Movenpic Hotel and I had jacket over my blouse. So while taking pictures, I pulled my jacket down my shoulders little without thinking much about it. I had no idea my nipples were visible like that in the top I was wearing.

“If I knew it will come out this indecent, I wouldn’t have posed like that. Then again, the photographers did not prompt me, I would have positioned myself well or not even posed like that,” Victoria Lebene told Showbiz.

She also extended her apologies to anyone those photos may have offended.

“I am therefore apologizing to everyone. I’m very sorry for what happened. I want my fans, the brand I represent and my family to know I am very sorry but the truth is that, I will not intentionally wear a blouse just show my nipples. For what purpose?

“As a brand influencer, I have a lot of people who look up to me so I will not want to do anything that will tarnish their image. There is no way I will expose my chest just in the name of fame,” she said.

Another issue her ‘wardrobe malfunction’ episode raised was that some Netizens wanted to know what she really does for a living. This according to them is  because they do not see the movies she claims she features in though she calls herself an actress.

“I am an actress, I have starred in a number of movies. The fact that my movies are not on the market or all over the place does not mean I am not working. You know, after shooting a movie, a lot more goes into it before it hits the market.

“ Apart from that, I have some ambassadorial deals and these things show that, I am working. Like I said earlier, I am taking my steps gradually and with time, Ghana, Africa and the world will hear of me”, she added

Fashion is a popular style, especially in clothing, footwear, lifestyle products, accessories, makeup, hairstyle and body. Fashion is a distinctive and often constant trend in the style in which a person dresses. It is the prevailing styles in behaviour and the newest creations of designers, technologists, engineers, and design managers.

Because the more technical term costume is regularly linked to the term “fashion”, the use of the former has been relegated to special senses like fancy dress or masquerade wear, while “fashion” generally means clothing, including the study of it. “I swear to God that I’ve financially not had a dime out of the promotion I’ve done so far. But I believe with every work, you need to invest and when you are investing, you do not have to think of gaining income right away because it will take time. Honestly, I’ve spent a lot of money on the radio tour I’ve embarked in the past weeks. I travel with a team of ten. We lodge at a hotel and as usual, we cannot just sleep at just any hotel. Transportation, we will eat and drink and on top of it all, you would have to settle Djs and presenters at almost all radio stations you would visit. If I visit just one region, I spend about Gh20,000 there” Mzbel told Zionfelix on Radio Univers in Accra.

Even though she has spent this much on the promo so far, Mzbel is not stopping.

But the outspoken singer added that she has so far halted the radio promotion. This, according to her is due to the World Cup tournament currently ongoing in Russia.
