King Promise ‘CCTV’ Song Hits 1 million Views

Legacy Life Entertainment’s artist, King Promise has hit I Million views on Youtube with his hit song ‘CCTV.’

Elated King Promise took to his official Instagram page to share the good news with his fans and followers.

According to him, this was the quickest time he has hit this number since he started releasing his music videos.

He also appreciated his fans and all who have in one way or the other contributed to his success.

‘CCTV’ was was uploaded to the video-sharing site YouTube on May 17, 2018.

The song was well received by Ghanaian and all music lovers.

He featured two of the biggest names in the Ghanaian music industry, Mugeez from the R2bees music group and Sarkcess Music CEO Sarkodie.

The song speaks about the grace the Lord has shown upon their lives.

The video which was shot around Nungua in Accra shows King Promise playing the piano on the back of an articulator truck with a choir who sings along as he plays.

The cool concept of the video directed by Justin Campos has been a hit with music lovers. The song itself has been a great piece of work.

If there’s any celebrity in the world who has done a great job of keeping her private life from the media, then it surely Nadia Buari.

The beautiful Ghanaian actress, today, June 17, 2018 celebrated her husband in a special way and alongside made certain revelations that have shocked her fans.

In the year 2015, news broke out about Nadia giving birth to twins. That was when the media began in frantic efforts to find out the whole truth about the claims.

Yes, they did found out that she had delivered a set of twins(two girls) but that was all.

All their efforts to find out who the father of the babies is have up to now proved futile.

Little did we know that, after the twins, there are two more children Nadia has with her husband.

Husband because, rumors have it that Nadia Buari has as usual secretly wedded the father of her children.

Though it has not been confirmed by the A-List actress, she’s been spotted in a wedding ring in her recent photos, which only proves one thing.

As yesterday marked Fathers’ Day, Nadia took to her Instagram page and shared a video of some of the memorable times with her husband and children.

Under the video was a long and beautiful text meant for her husband. In there, Nadia revealed that they have been together for the past ten years.

She also revealed that apart from the twins who were born in 2015, she gave birth to another baby girl again two years after.

She added that there’s also another girl who was born in January this year. Hence, Nadia has four children( all girls) with her husband who is still a mystery to the public.

Although, the video somehow showed the man, his face and identity could still not be established except for the fact that he’s a white man.

Indeed, Nadia Buari deserves an accolade for being able to keep her private life far off the prying eyes of the media. She continues to enjoy her privacy with her children and husband and we wish them all the best.

Sarkodie Releases Photos Looking Classy AF

Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie gives new meaning to the debonair.

Furthermore, he rocks this classy fashion well. The Rapperholic released new photos on his Instagram and the photos are great.

Moreover, he was the the only Ghanaian in Forbes’ 30 under 30 list for the creative arts sector in Africa. Therefore, his seems to be a reflection of his ‘pocket’.

The photos shared were in a specially bespoke set of corporate style and it is entirely rich. The suit was by a collaboration with the revered Bespoke brand, Brommon.

He rocked the royal blue check suit jacket with matching pants. The regular fit single breasted was worn over a white shirt with a wine flying tie to complete the look.

Moreover, he looks very accomplished in these fashionable photos.

1. Set the mood

Home-cooked dinners are the perfect opportunity to dial up the romance with your partner. If it’s your turn to cook, set the mood by dimming the lights and adding candles to the table setting. Make sure mobile phones are silenced so you can talk to each other without interruptions. Playing music softly in the background is also a great way to evoke a calm and romantic mood. Stretch out the meal by serving an entrée and dessert!

2. Dine out at quiet places

If you are going out on a date, the last thing you want is to be in a loud, busy environment and not be able to hear each other talk. Find a quiet restaurant so you can enjoy each other’s company, or for something different grab a take-away meal and go on a picnic.

3. Be affectionate

Affection is an important aspect of a relationship. Touch his hand when you two are talking, or brush her shoulder when you walk past. If you’re at a comfortable stage, hug and kiss your partner regularly. Research shows that touch and cuddling can help alleviate anxiety and stress, as well as build trust between one another.

4. Watch a movie together

Sitting in the dark and holding hands during a movie can be an intimate experience, be it at home or at the cinema. Tip: have a big bowl of fresh popcorn to enjoy during your movie date.

I Haven’t Eaten Meat For The Past 13 Years – Samini

Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Samini dicloses his dietary plan for the past years. Furthemore, according to the Boss of High-Grade Family, he hasn’t eaten meat in 13 years.

He made these statements on Citi Fm’s “Traffic Avenue” with Jessica Opare Saforo. Moreover, he said he’s been a pescetarian over 13 years.

Also, he advised his fans and the general public to substitute fish, beans and any other sources of protein to meat.

God Has Special Punishment For Politicians – Afia Schwarzenegger

Afia Schwarzenegger prays to God about politicians.

Television personality, Afia Schwarzenegger  supported the National Democratic Congress (NDC) during the 2016 general elections. However, now she says politicians are liars.

Furthermore, she invokes the wrath of God on Ghanaian politicians. Moreover, she says there is a special punishment from God for all politicians in the country.

According to Afia, politicians threw dust in the eyes of voters.

Therefore, she believes that claims by politicians that they sacrifice for the ordinary voter are false.

Also, she added that politicians out of greed to remain longer in office.

TV personality, Frema Ashkar leaves Accra based TV station Metro TV. Furthermore, this is according to reports online.

Moreover, Frema is a seasoned media practitioner with cross-platform experience including radio, TV and public relation. Also, she is a philanthropist, professional master of ceremony, Artist manager. Currently, she is the manager of highlife singer Kwabena Kwabena.

Furthermore, she joined TV3 in 2007 as a senior news anchor and, a reporter for 4years before joining ETV news.

At Metro TV, the renowned broadcaster was the news Anchor and presenter for breakfast TV — a current affairs program, ‘Good morning Ghana ‘and hosted panorama — a documentary on Tourism and Culture.

However, it is unclear the reason behind her decision to quit. However, a lot of people attribute the shutdown of Metro TV to it.

The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) shutdown the Accra-based television station Metro TV, reportedly over their failure to pay their taxes valued at 2.3million Ghana Cedis to the state.

 

I Don’t Earn A Penny From Organizing Kumawood Awards – Samdackus

CEO of Kumawood and Akoben Film Festival, Samuel Darko, popularly known as Samdackus, has revealed that he has so far earned nothing from organising the award scheme.

According to the Kumawood Director, he is yet to make a profit from what he has been doing for some years now.

“As at now, I always run at a loss since I started organizing the Kumawood awards.” He told DJ Murphy on Bohye FM’s Entertainment Extra.

He also lamented how some actions of some media outlets are not helping the growth of Kumawood Awards.

“We have a big problem. Majority of the media do not support, they always criticize and try to pull people down. When nominations are out, they won’t discuss it but are rather quick to talk about who deserved an award or does not deserve it after the awards.

“It will be fair for them to talk about the nominations because every nominee is a potential winner. It pains me a lot when I hear about such things,” he bemoaned.

Expressing his view on the recent Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ investigations that exposed some officials of the Ghana Football Association, Samdackus posited:

“I got to understand why Countryman Songo always hit hard on him [Kwesi Nyantakyi]. He should have resigned after our last World Cup. It will help to clamp down on corruption in the country.”

Asked if Anas should start an investigation into the Movie Industry, he answered that it will be a waste of time because a lot of money does not pass through that sector.

Anas will find no corruption at MUSIGA – Bessa Simons

Vice President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Bessa Simons, says investigative journalist Anas will find no acts of corruption against MUSIGHA. Furthermore, this is if he embarks on an undercover project with the union. He made these statements on Accra FM.

“Anas should try an investigation at MUSIGHA. Apart from the fact that he may be wasting his time, there is no money at MUSIGHA, there’s no money there. Who is going to take bribe? The person you are going to take bribe from wants money from you.” 

Moreover, Mr Simons was certain that “Anas will come and waste the money he will be giving out”.

However, several entertainment personalities accuse MUSIGA of possible mismanagement and embezzlement of funds.

Moreover, this was due to the use of goverment’s allotted GHS 2 million. President, Obour suffered intense criticisms over the use of the money provided by the government.

Also, other critics demand a change in administration.

However, Mr Simons insists:

“People will be disappointed (if Anas should come there for any investigative purposes)”.

On the contrary, he believes people will applaud MUSIGA if such an investigation is carried out.

“I think at the end of the day, they will say we have done a great job and so the government should find some money and pay us.” 

Also, he added that music was important to the development of the country. Therefore, he encouraged government to regularly earmark funds for the Union.

“I feel MUSIGA is at a stage, for the work they have done, government should make sure every year MUSIGA gets an allocation of money from the budget to run the association because music plays an important role in Ghana.”

DJ Mensah To Rock Afrobeats Event In Marbella

The untouchable DJ Mensah will this weekend bring the southern Spain city, Marbella to a standstill with a three day soiree dubbed “Afro beats in Marbella”

After rocking London and Denmark with most decorated rapper Sarkodie and the Sarkcess crew is geared up to bring yet another mammoth party this weekend to fans in Spain.

The show commences on 15 and runs till 17th of June 2018.

Afrobeats in Marbella with DJ Mensah includes a day party, club, pool and beach party.

“My Name Is Ramadan”, Movie Which Features Stonebowy Shows In Accra And Kumasi This Weekend

Singing is a talent just like acting is, however, both are different and require diverse skills to perfect.

Some are however blessed with both talents and a multi-talented person is definitely a unique person.

Dancehall act, Stonebowy recently featured in a movie directed by Kobi Rana titled ‘My Name Is Ramadan.’

Funded by the Zylofon Arts Fund, ‘My Name Is Ramadan’ also features award-winning actors, Kalsoume Sinare and Umar Krupp.

The likes of Maame Serwaa, Anthony Woode, Nana Poku Jnr and JKD all play some pivotal roles in the movie.

Produced for his RANAway production, ‘My Name Is Ramadan’ will show on 15th, 16th, and 17th June 2018 in Accra and Kumasi simultaneously, at the Accra Mall and the West Hills Mall at the Silver Bird and Watch& Dine Cinemas respectively.

The movie shows at 4pm, 6pm and 8pm at all Cinemas.

Rosemond Brown Admits She Made Up Medikal Rape Allegations

Rosemond Brown talks about her allegations. However, she admitted that she made the accusation up just to trend.

Furthermore, according to her she met Medikal and he admitted to her that he loved her videos. Therefore, she promised to make one for him.

“Oh, Rosemond Brown; I’ve been watching your videos each and every day, five times a day before I sleep.” 

She replied

Moreover, according to her, she doesn’t plan her videos. She just says what comes to mind which she thinks would trend. She made these statements on Neat FM.

Fathers’ Day: “Every Girl That Says I’m Her ‘Daddy’ Should Buy Me Something” – Shatta(Video) Wale

Shatta Movement(SM) Empire Boss, Shatta Wale has sent a message to the ladies calling her ‘Daddy’ for fathers’ day in advance.

The controversial musician says any girl who refers to him as ‘daddy’ must buy him something to mark fathers’ day.

According to Shatta Wale, he has given birth to the extent that his ‘children’ fill up any place he’s billed to perform.

Hence, he wants them to do something for him on this Fathers’ day to let Ghanaians know that they have a ‘father.’

He goes on to say that the same thing goes out to his SM soldiers as well.

However, he adds that he doesn’t want a party, but something different to remember for ever.

Fathers’ day, just like mother’s day, is a special day set aside to celebrate fathers across the globe.

Although Mothers’ day seems to have overshadowed that of the father’s, a few people surely do not joke with the day.

This year’s, however, falls on Sunday, June 17, 2018.

Mr Eazi To Launch $100,000 Eazi Sound Foundation

Nigerian born-Ghana based artiste, Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade popularly known as Mr Eazi has some good news for emerging artistes.

It seems the  Zagadat boss after recently announcing his own record label has more to his sleeves than we could ever imagine.

Mr Eazi, in a tweet has announced the launch of his foundation, Eazi Sound Foundation.

According to the ‘Leg Over’ hitmaker, the launch will come off on August 1, 2018.

He further added that, the foundation has set aside $100,000 to support emerging Artistes from Africa as its first mission.

The only criteria is that you should be a registered voter in your country.

Meanwhile, Mr. Eazi has also urged his fans to watch out for a new banger “Let me Live by” on which he features.

I Want To Win A Grammy – Flowking Stone

Everyone has somethings on their ‘bucket list’ to which their working assidously to cross out and Flowking Stone has just revealed one of his.

The Kumasi based rapper/hiplife artiste has revealed that his main aim, in terms of awards right now is the Grammys.

The ‘Go low’ hitmaker posits that his fans and Ghanaians want to see him clock at least don’t an MTV Base or a BET award.

However, he is aiming far ahead of these awards.

To achieve this, the former Bradez member prefers to start with “collaborations with artistes across the world.”

The now solo artiste revealed that he is starting this journey by featuring artistes in neighboring Nigeria and South Africa. “We are working with Tanzania artistes,” he added.

Flowking, however, could not name the artistes he hopes collaborate with.

This he explained is because “…right now the deals haven’t been concluded.”

Stone is however certain that more international collaborations are what will lead him to his Grammy destination.

I Don’t Give A Hoot About Criticisms And Insults — Delay

Ghanaian radio and TV personality, Deloris Frimpong Manso talks about criticisms. The TV personality goes by the moniker Delay.

Furthermore, she states that she developed some thick skin for backlashes and criticisms. Therefore, she doesn’t care about insults or criticisms from Ghanaians.

She made these statements while interviewing Zylofon’s Kumi Guitar.

“As for hearsay, bloggers putting out negative stories, the insults etc, I am used to it. The reason is that it comes with the job I do, controversy is in the nature of creativity, if it matters, it will generate controversies.

And I like controversies. This is because, the more controversial it gets, the more interesting it gets, I am not scared of controversies at all. Sister Afia Delay, I have the courage to face it and I’m swift enough to go through them as well.”

Moreover, she added that she loves controversies a lot. Therefore, anyone who thinks they can create controversies to break her down is wrong.

Full-Time Acting Is Not Helpful – Yvonne Okoro

It’s obvious that talent alone cannot sustain one to the fullest these days.

Many musicians have already made this known and have ventured into other business avenues.

The situation in the music industry, seems not to be too far and different from that of the movies industry.

Almost the long-serving artistes and actors are now adding another source of income to that of their talent.

Actress cum producer, Yvonne Okoro seems to agree with the fact that, talent alone is no longer paying.

According to the actress, taking acting as full-time job is not advisable because the movie industry is gradually collapsing.

She told Abeiku Santana on the ‘Atuu’s Show’ aired on UTV, that currently the movie sector is faced with unsolved challenges for so long as compared to before.

“The movie industry now does not have enough producers and finance. It’s all because there’s no money in the industry lately. The actors and actresses have now turned into producers, which shouldn’t be so.”

She added that, it will not be advisable for up and coming actors and actresses to take film making as their full-time jobs.

“There should be something aside acting you can perfect at. Acting does not fetch money in Ghana right now. Compared to Nigeria where they have over 20 cinemas and a larger population as well, a good movie can sell in all cinemas and make huge sums of money, it is not so in Ghana. I’d advise these up and coming actors to go to school, get a constant paying job and maybe do acting for the passion of it.” She said.

Yvonne Okoro however revealed that, she has another source of income apart from acting and producing.

She explained that, she is a real estate developer, a job she learned from her father.

Furthermore, Wale has our hearts with his recent style inspiration. This is because he continues to splash images on his social media pages. Critics definitely would be tongue-tied by now by the dancehall artiste latest fashion appearances.
