Kuame Eugene talks about Pataapa.

Ghanaian musician, Kuame Eugene sparks the ire of Ghanaians. Furthermore, this was over his comments about Pataapa. Moreover, he brushed off the chance of making any song with Patapaa at any point of his career.

Eugene made these statements while in an interview on GH One TV. Moreover, according to the ‘Angela’ hitmaker, he cannot collaborate him. This is because his songs are mainly made up of noise.

Therefore, he said Patapaa as a ‘noisemaker’ and not a musician.

He admitted that Patapaa has been worrying him for the two of them to collaborate. However, he has no interest in doing so.

Songo speaks about the current state of football in Ghana.

Radio and television presenter, Countryman Songo revealed that government had done well in their attempt to dissolve the GFA. However, inasmuch as their actions are good, they have to follow the proper processes. Otherwise, or he’ll go after them

He made these these statements while speaking on Peace Fm. Furthermore, he said the right thing must be done by government. Therefore, the right people must be appointed to take over from the GFA.

Ella Mensah exposes Nana Akua Addo.

Actress, Ella Mensah tags fellow actress, Nana Akua Addo as a liar. Furthermore, according to Ella she is a pathetic liar.

Moreover, she said the slay queen never enrolled at the New York School of Film. However, she got the guts to lie to Ghanaians that she enrolled in that institution.

She made these statements in an interview with zylofonmedia.com. Also, she disclosed that she was a student at the New York School of Film at the time Nana Akua Addo claimed she was a student there. However, she never met or set an eye on her.

“She is one of the actresses that borrow clothes for events and pays bloggers to write stories about what she wore to places.”

However, it is interesting to note that Nana Akua stated that she went to New York Film Academy and not New York Film School. Therefore, that maybe the source of confusion.

Zylofon Arts invests into the movie industry.

Director of Communications for Zylofon Arts Fund, Frank Owusu revealed that about GHC 1.7million was put into the Ghanaian movie industry.

He made these statements at the launch of Ghana International Film Week. Furthermore, he stated that the fund is an NGO. Moreover, it mobilized funds for the creative arts industry as part of its operations.

Also, he mentioned that their attention was drawn towards the film industry. Therefore, it inspired them to sponsor the film week with GHc 25k gold coins yearly. This was for the veterans in the film industry.

The trio (eShun, Feli Nuna, and Selasi) were supposed to form a music group. This was until she realised the contract presented her would not favour her career.

Fuse ODG is yet to react to the accusation leveled against him by the songstress.

Musicians celebrated Tic Tac now Tic. I

Over the weekend, there was the #Tic200fansconnekt. Furthermore, the event was exciting as multiple award winners took their turns on stage to show love to Tic.

Moreover, they all shared encounters between them and music icon, Tic. Also, they expressed appreciation to his hard work over the years.

The show is one of the series of the special activation party by the music icon.

Countryman Songo is back.

Popular Ghanaian television, host Patrick Osei Agyeman a.k.a Countryman Songo shed tears. Furthermore, this was ahead of his first TV programme after his suspension.

Moreover, the suspension by his employers was over five million defamatory suit by Kwesi Nyantakyi.

Songo was critical of the erstwhile President of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi. He accused him of corruption.

However, Songo appears vindicated. This is after Kwesi Nyantakyi was captured on camera receiving monies suspected to be bribe in Anas’ expose’.

Furthermore, according to him the gospel sectors needs their own edition of the concert.

Benedicta Gafah celebrates with Muslims.

Over the weekend, was the end of this year’s 30-day annual fast for Muslims. Furthermore, that day was a holiday for Ghanaians. Also, a lot of Ghanaians went on social media to celebrate with them.

Zylofon media signee, Benedicta Gafah did same. However, she went a step further to dress like a Muslim woman in addition to her well wishes.

Furthermore, she posted a picture on her Instagram page. The beautiful actress wore a shiny golden-coloured dress with a white ‘hijab’ to cover her head just like Muslim women usually do.

Appietus advices young musicians.

Ghanaian producer, Mr. Appiah Dankwa known in showbiz cycles as Appietus advised musicians not to rely on hit songs.

Furthermore, he states that they shouldn’t rely on hit songs in order to stay relevant. However, they should venture in activities that will keep them relevant in society.

“You always need a hit to become relevant but you can stay relevant without a hit after you are known; now you are known so you can do other things to stay relevant, there are a lot of artistes who are doing a lot of projects that keep them in the eye of the public”. 

Moreover, according to the sound engineer, having hit songs keeps musicians in the spotlight. However, in the absence of such, artistes can embark on various projects. These will put them in the spotlight and always have people talk about them.

He said this in reactions to comment made by Gospel artiste Cwesi Oteng.

However, the award winning producer thinks artistes should combine several other things to their music career in order to make significant impact. He wants artistes to emulate the example of Okyeame Kwame and others who he says are still relevant despite not having hit songs.

Popular Ghanaian radio presenter and reggae artiste, Blakk Rasta states that he foresaw the death of the legendary Nigerian Reggae artiste, Ras Kimono. Furthermore, he said he dreamt about it.

Moreover, according to Rasta, he informed Ras Kimono quickly. He sent the message to him about the dream because he did not take the dream for granted.
