Ova Wise shoots new music video.

Ghanaian rapper, Ova Wise is currently in Canada’s capital, Toronto working on a new music video. Furthermore, the video is a big-budget video. Moreover, according to information, Ova Wise is spending around $80,000 which is GH382, 560 on the visuals.

Moreover, about one-third of the $80,000 was spent on hiring wild animals for the new music video. He shoots the video in Toronto. The director for this visuals is one of Drake’s favourite music video directors, Tee Tash.

Ova Wise we are sure is about to make some wonders in the Ghanaian music industry. It is not clear which of his songs he is shooting the video for but we are certain this video and song will blow since he is spending a lot on it.

Stonebwoy goes on a world tour.

Dancehall artist, Livingstone Etse Satekla (Stonebwoy) announced dates for his “Epistle of Mama World Tour”.

Furthermore, the artiste is also a signee of Zylofon Music.

Moreover, the tour is a collaboration between the singer’s BMG, and Zylofon Music. Therefore, he makes stops in Holland, Switzerland, Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, Jamaica, Dubai among others.

Also, more dates are expected to be added to the lineup.

The album is a 24- track twin CD published under ZYLOFON Music and BMG, Epistles of Mama. Moreover, the has chalked palatial feats. It peaked at Number 13 on the Billboard World Chart.

This year’s edition of the annual free hepatitis B free screening campaign takes place in the third week of July.

Furthermore, the event is targeting over 5,000 people from all walks of life. The theme is: ‘Let’s Kick Hepatitis Out’.

Moreover, according to the rapper, the screening exercise aims at creating public awareness about hepatitis B.

Also, he explained that the response for hepatitis B screening over the years has been commendable. However, the rate of exposure is still high.

Okyeame Kwame bemoaned the lack of participation from the youth. Therefore, he insisted that education needs to be intensified.

However, the artiste promises to help eliminate hepatitis B from the country by 2030.

This, he believes, would be achieved through music with partnership from the media and all relevant stakeholders.

He advised Ghanaians, especially the youth, to take hepatitis B free screening seriously.

Okyeame Kwame also appealed to all corporate bodies and other non-governmental organisations to help in the fight against hepatitis B by sponsoring the free screening exercise.

In 2009, Okyeame Kwame instituted the OK Foundation to create awareness on hepatitis B and also help reduce the prevalence rate of the disease in Ghana.

It is organised by the OK Foundation in partnership with the MDS-Lancet Laboratories.

Kuami Eugene talks about diss songs.

Lynx Entertainment signee, Kuami Eugene reveal that he would not write a diss song. Furthermore, this is in response to the one fired against him by Patapaa.

Moreover, according to the Lynx Entertainment star, he doesn’t have time or energy to waste writing a diss song against any artist.

Mzbel talks about church.

Ghanaian musician, Belinda Nana Akua Amoah known as Mzbel, is unapologetic in her stance. Furthermore, she explained her reason for ditching Christianity. She revealed to Kumasi-based Light FM that she stopped going to church because a pastor from IGCG put her in a corner. Basically, he forced her to choose between her music and her church.

However, she refused to name the pastor. She stated that the pastor said her career is in conflict with the teachings of the church. Therefore, she had better stopped coming to church if she was going to stay on the course of her career.

However, she stated that the uncalled for advice helped her immensely in life. This is because she quit Christianity and found solace in Judaism.

Queen Haizel accuses Wendy Shay.

Ghanaian musician, Queen Haizel says Rufftown Records stole her lyrics. Furthermore, she accused Wendy Shay of stealing her lyrics. Moreover, Queen Haizel released her song title “3hy3” on 27th October 2017. Meanwhile, Wendy released Uber Driver on 1st June 2018.

However, Rufftown has not officially reacted to the allegations. The musician says she has been robbed. Therefore, she dared Rufftown to come out and deny the allegations if they think she is lying.

There are new allegations against Efia Odo.

Ghanaian actress, Fella Makafui had several troubles last week. Furthermore, she was in an alleged sextape.

Moreover, Efia Odo and Fella Makafui have been at loggerheads for months now.

Firstly, Odo accused Fella of sleeping with big men for money. Also, Fella hit back at her numerous times.

Later, their feud was settled. However, things never settled down all the way.

After news broke about Fella’s sextape, Efia was in a video dancing. However, Fella’s management proved that it wasn’t her in the video.

Furthermore, now news emerges about the origins of the video. An Instagram account ‘thosecalledcelebs’ released info that it was Efia that sent them the video about Fella.

According to the account, Efia Odo was the one who hyped the video to her.

Social media roasts Sarkodie.

Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie asked a question on Twitter. However, people decided to call him out on his hypocrisy. Furthermore, online Ghanaians roasted him after he recently fired off a tweet asking for Ghanaians to ‘support our own’.

Moreover, the rapper tweeted:

“What is really stopping us from supporting our local(African) inventors??”

This tweet started a maelstrom. One reply to his ‘patriotic’ tweet set off a social media firestorm against him and started a trend as people fired him over and over.

However, people said he mocked M.anifest for wearing GTP during their explosive 2016 feud.

That sparked a twitter diss marathon against Sark.

Highlife artiste, Akosua Agyapong urges entertainment bloggers to verify and crosscheck information made available to them before they publish same on the internet.

Furthermore, she reacted to the publication of a video in which a woman fellated dancehall artiste Shatta Wale and another a male friend.

Moreover, the veteran singer said bloggers need to be circumspect and professional in doing their job.

Also, she accused some bloggers of secretly recording artistes or selling private videos of celebrities to other websites. This is to enrich themselves without thinking of the effect such behaviour has the victim.

She made these statements on Accra100.5FM.

Akosua Agyapong on God punishing bloggers

“God will deal with any blogger who sells other people’s videos online, because there are a lot of things that they are doing. I don’t know where they get information from but I think Shatta Wale shouldn’t have responded to that video at all. Once his face was not shown, he shouldn’t have responded at all, because it could happen that it was not him. Someone posted [the video], but the way he spoke, it is like he’s accepting the fact that he’s the one who did that. I think that part, I was not happy with him, but honestly what shows it was him…?

As for bloggers, the way they do things, God will ask them: … ‘Has someone sent them to be bloggers?’ No one has sent them to be bloggers. If you need information, you can do a phone interview and ask me whatever it is and I’ll answer… but you don’t frame up something because you want information, some of them do bad things…”

Moreover, she said they just run with anything they hear about people once the fellow refuses to comment when contacted.

Therefore, she advised bloggers crosscheck their facts before publication of any story about anybody.
