Mzbel Mocks Moesha Boduong Over CNN Comment In New Song

Mzbel cannot let this issue rest.

Ghanaian artist, Mzbel mocks Moesha. Furthermore, this over the Moesha Babiinoti Boduong made on CNN for Christiane Amanpour’s ‘Sex and Love’ show. Moreover, in the interview, she stated that she depended on a man for her upkeep.

However, several Ghanaians rebuked her for the loose talk. Therefore, Moesha publicly apologised for the comment she made on CNN’s ‘Sex and Love around the world’.

The songstress however is not done talking about the issue. This is because she is heard loud and clear mocking the actress in her latest single, ‘Tongues’.

“I need a man who will take care of me… my car… is it the economy?”

However, she laughed after making the Moesha speech in the song.

Hosts Of TV Africa’s Breakfast Show Look Serious In Black Stars’ Jersey

Hosts of TV Africa’s Breakfast show look amazing this morning.

TV Africa’s hosts, gave social media something to talk about with their costumes for their show. Furthermore, the hosts are olitician and journalist, Obuobia Darko Opoku, actress Nikki Samonas and certified nutritionist, Khadijat El- Alawa.

Moreover, they dressed in the Black Stars jersey. Interestingly, they each had  the number 12 written on their jerseys. Therefore, this means the costume was a tribute to Anas’ documentary. The documentary premiered yesterday to a lot of outrage.

Therefore, Obobia, Nikki, and Khadijat stand in solidarity with Ghanaians in the cleansing of Ghana Football. Also, the number 12 is the title to Anas’ video.

Snoop Dogg Trolls Ghana For Not Qualifying To The 2018 World Cup

Ghana isn’t going for the world cup.

American rapper, songwriter, TV personality and actor Calvin Cordozar Broadus aka Snoop Dogg trolled Ghana recently. Furthermore, our non-appearance at the 2018 World Cup is painful.

Moreover, Nigeria qualified for the tournament. Therefore, they launched their 2018 World Cup gear a few months ago. The gear became popular due to its combination of street fashion and mid-90’s design.

However, popular rapper Snoop Dogg took to his official Instagram page and trolled Ghana for not making it to the 2018 World Cup. Moreover, there are no concrete reasons why Ghana was the target for his trolling. But we are sure it was all in jest.

In a photo, the rapper shared a hilarious collage photo of Nigerians glowing in their world gear and a photo of a Ghanaian in a funny outfit.

Sarkodie, Bola Ray, Shatta Wale React To Kwesi Arthur’s BET Nomination

Since the news of Tema-based rapper Kwesi Arthur’s BET nomination, some of his colleague artistes and other personalities have rallied their support for him.

The ‘Grind Dey’ hitmaker has been nominated in the BET awards 2018 for the Best New International Art – Viewers Choice category.

The ‘Anthem’ crooner who couldn’t hide his joy took to social media after the news  went viral to express his excitement about the nomination.

He also utilized the opportunity and urged Ghanaians to support him to take his music and Ghana to the world.

His fans are of course, also solidly happy for him and are just making noise about the news on every social media platform.

Dr. Obengfo Transformed Our Lives; Speak Up – Nana Frema

Musician and actress, Nana Frema Koranteng talks about Obengfo Hospital. Furthermore, she asks fellow women who have had successful surgeries at Obengfo Hospital to speak out.

Moreover, according to the actress, Dr. Dominic Obeng Andoh transformed many lives at his Advanced Body Sculpt Centre. She made these statements to JoyNews’ MzGee.

GFA Breaks Silence On Anas’ #Number12

The first screening of Anas’ Number 12 yesterday in Accra has indeed generated a lot of tensions.

Officials caught on tape taking bribe are in ‘hot soup’. Ghanaians have also reacted to the video in diverse ways.

The Ghana Football Association(GFA), which is currently the center of attention in the country have also reacted to the video.

The GFA has taken to its official website to react to the premiering of the work of Anas Aremeyaw.

Anas’ latest exposé dubbed #Number12 captures many of its official were seen taking bribes.

The football gorverning body has requested Tiger Eye to;

“as a matter of urgency” furnish them with all recorded materials on the documentary to enable them forward

“it to the appropriate quarters for further investigations”.

The GFA has also asked “the football fraternity to remain calm and provide us with all the support we need as we bid to restore confidence and trust in our beautiful game”.

Below is the full reaction as published by the GFA:

The Ghana Football Association (GFA)’s attention has been drawn to the airing of a documentary by Tiger Eye PI alleging acts of corruption by some match officials and senior officials of the federation.

The GFA was not provided with an opportunity to watch the premiering of the documentary as it was neither provided with an advanced copy of the said documentary nor furnished with tickets by Tiger Eye PI to watch the airing.

Though the GFA did not commission Tiger Eye PI to undertake this exercise and have not been provided with the opportunity of watching the documentary, we view the allegations circulating in the media very seriously and would wish to take immediate steps to address them.

To this end we believe its only fair and proper that Tiger Eye furnishes us with the said documentary and hereby request Tiger Eye as a matter of urgency to furnish us with all the recorded material on this documentary to enable us forward it to the appropriate quarters for further investigations.

The GFA wishes to emphasise that it is an association incorporated under the laws of Ghana and as such governed by the laws of Ghana as well as its own Rules and Regulations. It is also affiliated to CAF and FIFA.

The GFA wishes to place on record that, there will be no attempt of a cover-up or shield any of our members caught in alleged acts of corruption.

The GFA wishes to assure all that as an institution it does not condone any manner of corrupt practices.

We wish to put on record that eight months ago, we got evidence of some external influences seeking to manipulate matches in our various competitions.

As soon as it became clear to us that we were facing the possibility of some external influences seeking to destroy the sanctity of the game in Ghana, we wrote to FIFA seeking assistance to help combat this menace.

The action we took was in furtherance of the GFA’s desire to fight against match manipulation and maintain the integrity of our game and federation.

We received a full FIFA response few days later, with an action plan on how we can fight the menace of match manipulation through a roadmap for the implementation of the national integrity initiative.

We are still working with FIFA Integrity Department to find the appropriate dates for the action to help educate our members on the dangers of this menace.

The GFA will subsequently be undertaking a holistic review and continue with our reforms geared towards the enhancement of its operations in dealing with alleged acts of corruption in the game.

We urge the football fraternity to remain calm and provide us with all the support we need as we bid to restore confidence and trust in our beautiful game.

AUDIO: Wanlov The Kubolor Drops ‘This Is Ghana’

Since the release of American actor and musician, Childish Gambino’s “This Is America”, different artistes have produced covers of the song in different parts of the world.

Few days ago, some Ghanaians called on some of their favorite artistes including M.anifest and FOKN Bois, made up of Wanlov and Mensa to record the Ghanaian version.

However, all of them turned down the requests, saying there will be no ‘This Is Ghana’ from them.

But it seems Wanlov, the other half of FOKN Bois later changed his mind and has finally released the Ghanaian version.

It looks like Wanlov, the other half of the group was thinking of something else when Mensa made the statement days ago.

The controversial musician has released “This Be Ghana” to join the several covers many other nationals have done.

The controversial musician touched many problems Ghanaians are facing which need to be addressed but are all over-looked.

Wanlov The Kubolor,real name Emmanuel Owusu-Bonsu touched on some vital  issues that need immediate redress but our leaders have turned a blind eye on.

Criticisms Of My CNN Interview Was A Blessing – Moesha Boduong

Moesha Boudong talks about her controversial interview.

Ghanaian actress and socialite, Moesha Boduong described the ‘bashing’ she received after her CNN interview. Furthermore, she stated that it is a ‘blessing in disguise’.

Moreover, the actress came under a heavy criticism on social media after she said she dated married men for money.

However, in her first interview since the CNN interview, the actress lambasted Ghanaians. ALso, she stated that their criticism helped establish a cordial relationship with the CNN. She made these statements to Joy News’ MzGee.

“The whole CNN thing was a blessing. Especially with Ghanaians lambasting me, it went everywhere so yes it has been a blessing. Because of that, CNN had to come to my aid. So, I’m looking at doing so many things with CNN soon and I’m doing something with them. That’s also in the pipeline and will come out soon thanks to my lovely Ghanaians, I love them so much.” 

Also, she revealed that plans are far advanced for her to release a movie about her ordeal.

“I’m launching my foundation soon and will soon produce my own movie. I’m still writing the story so everyone should expect my new movie. It’s going to be about me and everything on CNN so people should watch out and yes I’m going to turn that into a fortune.”

#Number 12: Meet The Two GFA Officials Who Rejected Anas’ Bribe

The first screening of Anas latest exposé took place yesterday June 6, 2018 at the Accra International Conference Center.

Many Ghanaians trooped in there to watch how the wind was blown off the ‘anus’ of some corrupt officials at the Ghana Footaball Association(GFA).

The video, put together by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas  and his Tiger Eye Pi team is indeed, a bombshell.

The video allegedly captures 77 Ghanaian referees and 14 GFA officials for engaging in acts of corruption.

However, as with most corruption documentaries by Anas, a few individuals are celebrated for their honesty as a result of rejecting bribes.

They are Executive Committee Members of the GFA, Kweku Eyiah and John Frederick (JF) Mensah.

The two have been revealed as the two men who stood up against being bribed in the exposé titled – #Number 12.

According to a report by the Daily Graphic, the two men resisted the attempts to be compromised.

Both are members of the GFA Executive Committee with Eyiah serving as a Divison One Representative.
Mr. Mensah,on the other hand serves as a Premier League Representative.

Ayiah, a lawyer is the Management Committee Chairman of the national U-17 team, the Black Starlets.

He led the team to the 2017 FIFA World Cup in India where they suffered a quarter-final heartbreak as they were beaten 2-1 by African champions Mali.

Experienced match commissioner, JF Mensah is a Geodetic Engineer who has rich experience in football and business administration, project management, tourism and good working knowledge in accounting.

Popularly known as JF in football circles, he has served as Board Secretary for Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs.

Mr Mensah has served as member of the Players Status Committee from January 2015 to date.

He has also served as;

*Member of the Premier League Board (March 2006 — December, 2014).

*Secretary of the then Organisation of the Ghana League Clubs Association (OGLCA) for more than 15 years.

*Past member of the Executive Committee of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA),

among many other sub-committees of the GFA.

He has chalked a lot of successes as a management member of Dwarfs. This saw the club participate in the CAF Cup Competitions on two occasions between the years 2000 and 2014. J.F also played a key role as a member of the Premier League Board (PLB). Which adopted effective strategies and implemented new initiatives. This led to a lot of transformations in the Board between the years 2006 and 2014.

As the Vice Chairman of the PLB Awards Committee, he played a key role which successfully organised the events. Thus from the 2010/2011 to the 2013/2014 football seasons.

Mr Mensah has also worked as the General Manager of the Ghana Tourist Development Company Limited in Accra.

#Number12 premiere

The eagerly anticipated documentary will show at the Accra International Conference Center on June 6-7, 2018. There will be four(4) screenings each day: 3pm, 5pm, 8pm & 10pm.

The video will also show at the new GCB Auditorium at KNUST  in Kumasi on June 9 and 10, 2018.

The people of Tamale will have their turn to watch the video at Radach Hotel on June 13, 2018.

Those in Takoradi will have the opportunity at Akroma Plaza on June 16, 2018.

Sarkodie’s Social Media Apology Was Disrespectful – Freddy Meiway

Legendary Ivorian musician, Freddy Meiway speaks about Sarkodie. Furthermore, according to him it was wrong for Sark to apologise to him on social media.

Moreover, he spoke about the apology to Joy News’ Doreen Avio.

First, Meiway said he sent Sarkodie a song to feature on. However, for more than a year, the rapper had not worked on the song.

Also, the rapper did not respect him enough to give any explanations for his inability to work on the track.

Anas Exposé: Watch How Gt Accra FA boss Was Caught On Camera Taking Bribe

Greater Accra Regional FA boss, Eddie Doku, has been caught on tape taking a bribe to influence game time.

This was for a player in the Black Stars Team B during the 2017 WAFU Zone B tournament.

Mr Doku, was captured taking bribe to ensure Hearts of Oak sprinter Patrick Razak enjoys more playing time.

Eddie Doku, is also the Chairman of the Black Stars B team. He was caught on camera receiving an unspecified amount of money to influence a regular match playing time in the team.

In the tape, Doku is seen taking money from the undercover reporter from Tiger Eye. Doku takes the money, unwraps it and splits the cash into the left, right and back pockets of his trousers.

In an odd act, he hands the wrapper, which he has now crumpled, back to the undercover reporter.

This, also was at the 2017 WAFU Tournament which as staged in Ghana.

The Anas Aremeyaw Anas #12 documentary was premiered yesterday at the Accra International Conference Center.

The second screening is today, Thursday, June 7, 2018. There will be four sets of screenings: 3 pm, 5 pm, 8 pm and 10 pm.

Meanwhile People in Kumasi, Tamale and Takoradi are also eagerly awaiting their turn to watch the video after the premiere in Accra on separate dates.

I Have Dead Goat Syndrome — Princess Shyngle

Ghana-based Gambian actress, Princess Shyngle, is always making news because of her curvacuoes body and very tiny waist.

A percentage of her fans admire her for her body shape.  Others, have also expressed their worry over her tiny waist.

Sometime ago, Princess underwent a kidney transplant and many attributed it to her excessive use of waist trainers.

Meanwhile,she has always debunked that her sickness wasn’t caused by waist trainers but other factors.

Although many of her fans have advised her to stop using the waist trainers, it seems the actress doesn’t really mind.

Day in and out, her waist turns to look even more slimmer and Ghanaians cannot think far.

About two weeks ago, she was at the receiving end of some serious trolling after pictures of her on a movie set surfaced.

From the pictures, it seemed her waist had shrunk even more and many social media users just had to comment with some lambasting her.

Princess also debunked rumors that she had removed her intestines to get a flat stomach and smaller waist.

“They said I have taken my intestines out but look, I am going to eat so how can someone with no intestines eat? she asked.

“See, what I have on is my waist trainer and that is what I use, coupled with constant exercise and eating well.

The bottom line is that, I am not perturbed.

The people talking can continue talking.” She added.

Princess was born in the Gambia and says she is a descendant from all over Africa.

“My paternal grandparents are from Ghana and Sierra Leone respectively while my maternal grandparents are from Nigeria and Mali.” She explained.

She currently has a talk show on YouTube, Hot Talk With Princess Shyngle. She uses the platform to share with her fans relationship tips among others.

2. She pays more attention to her phone than you

If you inevitably spend every dinner glaring at her as she pivots between various social networks and replies to every text message that springs up, don’t be too quick to write her behavior off as a sign of the times.

Sure, we’re all guilty of being so overly engrossed in our digital lives that we neglect the present moment. But if she makes a continual habit of talking to her Twitter followers more than you during dinner dates, it may point to her lack of investment in the relationship, not just her fleeting attention span. We don’t want to say she might be spending your night together making plans with someone else, but stranger things have happened.

3. She accumulating new clothes at higher rates than usual

If your girl goes into makeover mode and tears through the mall like Sonic the Hedgehog on a mission, you should take notice. Most women have an affinity for retail, but if her shopping takes on a rabid focus seemingly out of nowhere, you should ask yourself why she has become invested in reinventing herself.

Again, it’s about a departure from the norm. If your girl normally puts on a full face of make-up to run errands, don’t think twice about her putting on mascara to go to the dry-cleaners. But if she’s a sweats-and-Chapstick type of chick, and she suddenly starts taking an hour to get ready to go out (particularly, without you), you have a reason to worry.

4. She’s less interested in sex

Every couple has sex routines. Maybe three times a week is your norm; maybe you get it in every night. But if your norm inexplicably changes, and you find you’re battling a new excuse every night, you may want to investigate what lies at the root of the issue. Is she really too tired (every damn night)? Has your sex life just gotten that boring? Or, is she simply disinterested in humping you…because she’s getting it elsewhere?

We’re not saying you should draw wild conclusions from a single “not tonight,” but be aware of what normal looks like so you know when your sex schedule diverges from it, and take the time to discuss what the real issue is.

5. She’s overly concerned with your whereabouts

Remember when you first met and every day was peppered with a constant exchange of flirty, borderline-salacious text messages? It’s normal for your text game to fall off from that initial honeymoon phase, but if she takes hours to respond without explanation, and can’t muster up an ounce of enthusiasm when she does, it’s not a good look for your relationship.

There’s a real possibility she’s under stress at work, or just in an emotional rut. But if you’re able to rule that out (which you can do with a few simple questions) and you notice she rarely takes the initiative to text—and if she does, it’s to ask where you are—she might be tracking your whereabouts for less than innocent reasons. We hate to be the ones to say it, but she’s not suddenly interested in the minutiae of your day—she’s covering her ass.

6. She falls off the radar for large gaps of time

So, she disappeared for five hours for the third time in a week and blamed it on falling asleep, and you actually believed her? That’s cute. We guess what they say is true—love is actually blind.

We hate to be the ones to pry those stubborn eyelids open, but if your girl goes M.I.A. for days at a time, you need to stop making excuses and start getting answers.

7. She makes a point to say she’s unhappy

It’s easy to misinterpret any of the aforementioned signals as infidelity when in actuality, there is a perfectly reasonable explanation. But, if you start noticing that the signs are slowly piling up, and she’s recently admitted she’s no longer happy in the relationship, you might be on the verge of a full-fledged confession.

Guilt is a tricky emotion, and she might feel that by fessing up to her flailing satisfaction in the relationship, she is offering you (and herself) an explanation for her selfish actions. Or, she could be gearing up to act on a long-held impulse, and making her excuses in advances so she can later utter, “I told you so,” with aplomb.

8. She flirts with other people in front of you

This points to larger issues of being attention-starved, having an insatiable ego, and otherwise being insecure. But more notably, if she’s comfortable batting her eyes at other people in front of you, what is she doing when you’re not there?

9. Her social calendar is suddenly bursting at the seams

Saturdays used to be your day. Nothing was said, no plans were made; it was just assumed that you’d be spending time together. But lately, it seems something more important to her comes up each week. Your weekly dates are no longer set in stone, and everything and everyone else takes precedent.

If you see your quality time slowly dwindling away, it absolutely points to her waning interest in the relationship, and it could mean she has transferred her affections elsewhere, or is at least entertaining the thought.

Independence is healthy, but a new-found focus on partying with her friends could mean she’s putting herself out there again and is seriously considering pulling the plug on your love

10. She starts pointing fingers in your direction

If your previously secure girlfriend suddenly goes into paranoia mode, you should take notice. If she snaps at you over seemingly innocent actions (basically, anything on this list, but in small, completely commonplace increments), she might be trying to throw you off her scent. By focusing your attention to your perceived failings, you’ll be less apt to interrogate her about her actual foul play, which is just the way she’d like it.

BBC Previews Anas ‘Number 12’ Exposé (VIDEO)

BBC previews Anas’ upcoming documentary.

Furthermore, tThe BBC partnered Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ Tiger Eye PI. This is for his upcoming explosive documentary ‘Number 12’. Therefore, they released a teaser trailer for the program which airs today.

Also, Anas already released his own trailer. He did this to give Ghanaians a taste of what to expect. Also, the BBC has done so.

The short video is on twitter. The BBC claim an earthquake is about to erupt on African football based on Anas’ exposé.

The video shows snippets of scenes including money changing hands between referees and other officials.

Furthermore, the BBC promises to show the documentary online and on their channels. This is to give an opportunity for a lot of people to watch it.

Stop That Arrogance, Nobody Can Reign Forever — Akrobeto Slams Agya Koo

Comedian, Agya Koo made some statements recently on his impact on Kumawood. Furthermore, he stated that because producers sidelined him Kumawood is dead.

Moreover, he made these statements in an interview, he said:

“After I was sidelined, they forgot I had a huge following, and I took away my huge followers. They brought in new people to replace me, but they forgot Agya Koo’s followers are bigger than the actors that they replaced me with. If they want to revive the movie industry, they should go back to the drawing board because my exclusion has caused the decline of Kumawood movies.”

However, according to Akrobeto, whilst Agya Koo was good in his day it’s arrogant to believe Kumawood collapsed just due to him. This is because Agya Koo’s time has passed. Therefore, he should deal with it.
