I’ve Regretted Supporting John Mahama And His NDC — Mzbel

Mzbel speaks about the NDC.

Ghanaian female artiste, Mzbel speaks about how the party she supported have abandoned her. Furthermore, she stated that she ‘sacrificed’ her career to support the former president John Mahama and his NDC. However, the party abandoned her after the quad accident.

Also, she said she rejected by the NDC and John Mahama. Therefore, she took to her Facebook page and lamented over how hurtful the very political party (NDC) she supported are.

Mzbel on how she feels about the NDC

“For the love of my political party NDC, I offended a lot of people, jeopardised my career and was verbally abused, but that didn’t deter me to keep fighting for what I believed in.

It’s sad that I’m temporarily stuck in bed now due to a minor accident and not even a phone call or text message from any of the people I genuinely supported, to wish me well… And the amazing fact is that Honourable Tina Mensah, mother for my constituency, the woman I strongly campaigned against rather visited me yesterday when she heard about the accident.

I am learning my lessons and I’d also want to appreciate madam MP for the love and care, even though we were on different sides, God bless you… You are just too real ??*Teary Eyes*

If i had died, the story would have been different with big speeches and donations… Oh my people!”

A-Plus Takes Entertainment Blogger, Ameyaw Debrah To The Gutters

Controversial musician, Kwame Asare Obeng, widely known as A Plus has descended heavily on award-winning entertainment blogger, Ameyaw Debrah in his latest post on Instagram.

Kwame A Plus

According to A Plus, Ameyaw Debrah just like other Ghanaian bloggers hypocritically shade their embarrassing stories from the public. Meanwhile, they always write and publish false stories of people just so they could make money out of them.

He further claimed that Ameyaw Debrah was forced to marry his wife after impregnating her. He has however, failed to write about that because he feels it is embarrassing. But he would have gladly written about it had it been any other celebrity and not him.

“All I’m saying is that, when you tell the world all the bad things about people’s lives and marriages remember to tell them about your own marriage and life because from your years of writing about people you have also become a celebrity. It is time we knew about your wife. Your life. Your mother who lives at Hatso. You giving birth with someone and being forced to marry her”, He wrote.

He continued that “I will also say your wife has a very stinking pussy. I’m not even making money. Wo yere tw? kankan. Abiatoliwa. Deal with it ofui!!!!”.

Ameyaw Debrah

Meanwhile, checks on Ameyaw Debrah’s page shows that he has pulled down all the whatever posts which infuriated the ‘Aben Be Bom’ hitmaker.

Read his post below:

@ameyaw112 Your entire life, tell me one thing you have done that earns you money apart from writing stories about people’s personal life and acting like you are a moral judge?

This morning in one of your post about me, you asked that I leave you alone. Like seriously? Have you started taking tramadol or what? I should leave you alone? When you made a post about my wife and later went into her DM to apologise did I ask you to leave me alone? You guys in the media have serious issues but will always be out there talking about others to make money. If there was fire at my wedding you’ll be the first to post it to direct traffic to your site and social media platforms.

But you hid yours because it was so embarrassing and you didn’t want anyone to know. You see when the government is building a road and your house is not demolished you say “wow the road is very straight and beautiful ankasa.” Do you ask how those whose houses were demolished feel? What I post about you is so painful that you want to be left alone.

Have you and all the bloggers in Ghana thought how many people want to be left alone? Have you asked yourself how painful what you write about people is? I’ve just said one or two things about you and it’s so painful that you want to be left alone but you were able to put a Photoshopped photo of my wife on your IG that she has bleached.

You had the right to do that and you think that it was cool because you made money out of it. I will also say your wife has a very stinking pussy. I’m not even making money. Wo yere tw? kankan. Abiatoliwa. Deal with it ofui!!!!

You’ve said thing about people. You’ve said things about my wife, I’m not angry ooo. Keep saying it. Iwill never stop you. I don’t care what you say about me or my wife. I will even defend to death your right to insult or say anything about my family.

Enjoy your freedom of speech. All I’m saying is that, when you tell the world all the bad things about people’s lives and marriages remember to tell them about your own marriage and life because from your years of writing about people you have also become a celebrity.

It is time we knew about your wife. Your life. Your mother who lives at Hatso. You giving birth with someone and being forced to marry her. Let’s known If her pussy is sweet or not. Let’s know if it stinks or not.

That’s what you did to people’s wife’s and reputation to get money to marry. Now we want to know about you too. Don’t be angry. It’s called karma…”

Moreover, his remarks come after no Ghanaian musician received a BET Awards nomination.

He made these statements on Starr Drive. Also, he said the BET awards should not be the measurement of the success of Ghanaian Music.

Fuse ODG on BET Awards

“I don’t think BET should be the measurement of success or how great our music is. Some of the greatest Musicians never received an award, Bob Marley is one of the greatest musicians but he never received an award. I think we need to stop praising these platforms and start building our own platforms and reward our artists.

BET is not here and they don’t understand what goes on here in Ghana, they are not real, they don’t respect Africa in the first place. They are not here helping us build schools, they are not here helping us build our economy. The only time they are jumping at Africa is because of the Black Panther movie, Ghana has influenced African music worldwide and BET is not going to be the measurement as to how influential Ghanaian music is.”

People Doubt I Go To Church Because Of Pusher Role – Adjetey Annan

Award-winning Ghanaian actor, Adjetey Annan, has disclosed that people used to doubt if he attended church because of his ‘Pusher’ role back then.

According to him, he stated that he always got a surprised look from people when they see him in church.

Adjetey Annan was a very popular actor some years ago due to his tole as ‘Pusher’ in hit series ‘Things We Do For Love’.

He explained to Becky on EWITHBECKS on Joy Prime that because the role came with acting like a vagabond, people have their own perception of who he really is.

‘Things We Do for Love’ was an educative series targeted at the youths. It emphasized on the youth and how they lived their lives both at home and in school. As well as their parents also coming in their way, trying to put them on track so they don’t go astray.

Adjetey Annan

The ‘swaged up gait’, the ‘bandana’ and the personality of ‘Pusher’ from back in the days were things to look forward to.

However, with over a decade after thrilling Ghanaians with the character, Adjetey Annan said people still assume that the bad boy traits exhibited in the series are real.

He said judging from the questions he is asked by frequently, people doubt if he is disciplined and well raised.

The revised version of ‘Things We Do For Love’ is now the TV series titled ‘You Only Live Once’ (YOLO).

It also features Adjetey Annan and Jackie Appiah as Enyornam.

Ghanaian actress cum producer, Yvonne Okoro has insisted that there’s no bad blood between she and and broadcaster, KOD.

KOD, who doubles as a fashion designer, in a way confirmed the rumored engagement of actor John Dumelo prior to the wedding.

KOD

He posted a statement that suggested, men, preferred ‘homely’ women like John Dumelo’s wife, to those he described as ‘all over the place’.

He posted Dumelo’s love story, “Got me wondering why most men in the public eye settle for quiet/unknown women and not the ones all over. That could be a lesson for some of our sisters ooo. Men want women who can make a home and not be all over”.

His comments however, seemed to have not gone down well with some people including Yvonne Okoro.

Yvonne Okoro

She therefore decided to bounce back at him by responding to KOD’s post by writing;

She responded: “Kofi, @nineteen57bykod you could have congratulated the couple without needlessly denigrating other women. Who a man chooses to be with is a matter of personal preference and vice versa for women too. As you clearly believe that women should make all their life choices with marriage always being at the forefront of their minds, you should preach the same to men”.

Her comments may have suggested some bad blood between the personalities.

However Yvonne Okoro told Joy News’ Becky at John Dumelo’s engagement ceremony, everyone was entitled to their own opinion. According to her, there was no enmity between them.

She made these statements to Showbiz.

Raquel on fame and celebrity life

“It is never pleasant to know that everyone thinks they have a say in your life without regard for your privacy. It is disheartening when people think it is their right to tell you what to do and what not to do.

Truthfully, I don’t know what is so pleasant about people passing judgment about you even when they hardly know you in person just because you are in the public eye. Unfortunately, this is what you have to endure immediately you become a star, which is so unfair.”

Furthermore, she stated that she turns the negative vibes she receives into positive energy.

“We are different and so how I will handle criticisms will be different from another person. I love to look at the brighter side of every issue and I use fame as an empowerment tool to drive my ambitions.

If thousands of people can talk about what I do in my life, then I should take advantage of that to drive a positive agenda and that is what I have done these years, to use my music to spread the message of love in my songs.”

Also, they asked her about her absence from the music scene.

“I think there is room for everyone to shine so there’s no need to compete with one another. My works may not be public now but I have been working behind the scenes to become a better artiste.

For instance, I have been taking lessons in voice coaching and stage crafting for more than seven months now and it is all to help me be a better artiste and my fans can testify when I drop my new album soon.”
