Radford Graduate Fashion Show Runway Features Autistic Models

The 2018 Radford Fashion Show was over the weekend.

The 2018 Radford University College (RUC) Graduate Fashion show featured some children suffering from the mental condition. Furthermore, this was part of its effort to create awareness of autism.

The event was at the plush Kempiski Hotel in Accra. Moreover, it was to showcase the creative designs of its graduating students. In the show, autistic children modeled clothes by a graduating student, Cynthia Agbley.

Moreover, she explained her motivation for using the autistic children. She stated that it was to encourage parents of autistic children that all hope is not lost.

Austism is a mental condition, present from early childhood. The characteristics are great difficulty in communicating and forming relationships with other people. Also, in using language and abstract concepts.

Cynthia Agbley called for more sensitization on autism. This was to combat the stigma associated with the condition.

The Radford Graduate Fashion Show is an excellent platform for the promotion of new talent. Furthermore, it is to showcase the work of the college’s best fashion and graphic design graduates.

The event saw graduates from the Fashion and Design Department of the University showing their latest collections and designs. Moreover, samples of their designs were modelled to the admiration of guests who gathered at the university’s premises for the event.

It ranges from corporate, casual and African wear, to wedding gowns innovatively designed with colourful fabrics.

Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong complains bitterly about the methods employed by ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

Furthermore, according to the outspoken MP, Anas needs to be stopped. However, one day he would snoop into people’s bedrooms, record what they are doing and screen it as a documentary.

Moreover, he made these statements on his Net 2 channel. He hit out at the ace investigator.

‘No Ghanaian Rapper Can Rap Better Than Me’ – Obrafour Brags

Ghanaian Hiplife artiste, Michael Elliot Kwabena Okyere Darko, popularly known as Obrafour  has stated emphatically that no Ghanaian rapper can rap better than him.

Some people are of the view that the Obrafour Ghanaians used to know lyrically decades ago is not the same Obrafour now. It is in response to this that Obrafour said that;

“Everybody has his opinion. I believe in what I do and I live in my convictions. I’m not conforming to any particular rules in the game. You can’t predict Obrafour because where you expect him to rap, he’ll rather sing and the vice-versa. Look, let me make this clear. I can rap and I don’t think there’s anybody in this country that can rap better than I do”, Obrafour asserted.

The CEO of Execution Entertainment was speaking in an interview with Emcee Bebe on Cape FM’s Entertainment Xtra show.

He revealed that music is in his genes. This according to him is because, he started singing at the age of four (4) through the guidance of his mother.

Meanwhile, Obrafour is currently promoting his new single titled ‘Moesha‘ which features Sarkodie.

I’m Going To Buy Proper Designer Suits For Patapeezy To Wear — Emmanuel Adebayor

Renowned African footballer, Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor promises to transform the personality of the Swedru-based artiste, Patapaa.

Furthermore, he stated that Ghanaians trolled the “one corner” hitmaker. However, he said he should not be dampened by it.

Moreover, according to Adebayor, he will bring people from Dolce and Gabbana to Ghana to take the measurement of Patapaa. This is so they can sew suits for him and provide Patapaa with shoes and belt. Therefore, he will look extremely classy at the next award event he attends.

In a Facebook live video Sunday evening, filmed in Austria, Patapaa now Patapeezzy said he was currently on a European tour courtesy Adebayor and Funny Face.

“I dey Austria, from France to Austria from Austria to UK from UK to Germany,” he happily said in the video, thanking Funny Face and Adebayor in the video several times for their support.

VIDEO: KOD Explains What His “All Over The Place” Means But Ends Up ‘Betraying’ John Dumelo

Popular Broadcaster and Fashion Designer, Kofi Okyere Darko, popularly known as KOD has come under lot of criticisms over his ‘All Over the Place’ phrase.

KOD first used the word weeks ago whiles trying to congratulate actor John Dumelo, who happens to be his friend.

But a few female celebrities, who probably felt offended by his words took to social media to bash him.

In his message, KOD is reported to have written ;

“Got me wondering why most men in the public eye settle for quiet/unknown women and not the ones all over. That could be a lesson for some of our sisters ooo. Men want women who can make a home and not be all over,” KOD wrote on social media.

This comment, however, generated divergent opinions and reactions from the general public, especially female celebrities.

Now, many have been asking what his “All Over The Place” phrase means.

However, in attempting to explain this, he has gone on to reveal that John Dumelo had a number girls that he knew but he (KOD) didn’t know of Mawunya, now Mrs Dumelo, so he was shocked John went for a low key person.

He explained that out of such surprise he penned the viral nuptial congratulatory message which left some Ghanaian female celebrities pissed off.

Speaking on Okay Fm, he said he was referring to the women with a lot of Ex-BFs as “All Over The Place women” and not just popular women.

But many social media users have once again toasted him for his explanation. According to them, KOD could have done that without mentioning or revealing that John Dumelo had a lot of girlfriends.

Noble Nketsiah Recounts How He Lost His Mother In His Arms

Ghanaian gospel musician, Noble Nketsiah shares one of the most painful moments in his life.

Furthermore, he made these statements in an interview with JoyNews’ MzGee. Moreover, he stated that his lovely mother died in his arms after releasing his album in 2003.

He recounted how his mother died. The sensational gospel singer disclosed that his mother, Veronica Fayose popularly called Maa Aba gave up on life two days after he [Noble Nketsiah] had returned from his first trip abroad.

He concluded that her mother died in his arms while on their way to the hospital to seek medical attention.

Reggie Rockstone Endorses Rosemond Brown’s ‘Poor’ Grammar With A Long Essay

Ghanaian actress, Rosemond Brown has been in the weeks for weeks non-stop now.

She has been ridiculed for few reasons and chief of them is her English Crammer and accent.

A lot of Ghanaian have lambasted Rosemond over what they call ‘poor’ Grammar and ‘bad’ accent.

But the actress seems not perturbed about the harsh bashed coming her way.

The English Language, we all know is the chief language in Ghana, though not ours.

And Ghanaians will make a fuss out of anyone who seems to be more fluent in any of the local languages than English.

It is in this line that the hiplife Grandpapa, Reggie Rockstone has written a long letter to a fan who mocked the ‘slay’queen’s Grammar.

We’all know how fluent Reggie is when it comes to proper articulation of the English Language.

But even with this, he seems to hold a different view from Rosemond Brown’s critics.

According to the legendary rapper, English is not the mother tongue of the slay queen and therefore she shouldn’t be criticized.

He argued that no one complains when a french or Chinese man speaks poor English grammar. He added that though he speaks English pretty well, he gets no recognition from those citizens of English-speaking countries.

Well, Rosemond proudly took to Instagram to share Reggie Rockstone’s comment and also thanked him.

C-Zar Quits Music Because It Doesn’t Pay

C-zar quits music for good.

Veteran hiplife musician, C-zar reveals the reason why he left the music industry. Furthermore, he stated that he ventured into entrepreneurship because he did not want to die as a poor man.

Moreover, according to him, music in Ghana only brings fame and attention and not wealth. Therefore, he was not willing to settle for just being famous whilst remaining a poor man.

C-zar made these statements with Graphic Showbiz

“I have quit music for good, I don’t want to die poor. Sincerely, show business doesn’t pay in our part of the world. See how all the veterans die as if they have never been in the limelight.

I don’t even want to see myself in such a condition in future where my family has to appeal for funds to take care of me should I fall sick. It is for this reason that I have decided to say goodbye to this trade which only gives you fame and attention but doesn’t pay so well.” 

Furthermore, he stated that it’s only a handful that truly make good money in the showbiz industry. However, the rest are left to suffer in silence.

“I can say that barely 10 people in showbiz are really raking in huge sums which suits their status as celebrities but in reality, many are broke because it doesn’t pay much. During my prime, there were producers who saw music as a business and invested in it so until they paid for the cost of their investments, the artiste may not benefit.

The truth is that, often times, there isn’t much after the producers have paid for all the expenses for cost of production so while you are making big hits, the returns are really little.”

Currently, C-Zar is in the electricals business and owns a couple of shops at different locations.

I Want To Collaborate With Becca, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie And Shatta Wale – Falz

Nigerian Rapper Folarin Falana, known in showbiz circles as Falz has hinted at a possible collaboration with some Ghanaian artistes.

He also stated that, the Ghanaian music industry has so much talent who will soon take over the international stages.

Ghanaian Artists And The Industry Are Stuck — Reggie

Reggie Zippy trolls the Ghanaian music industry.

UK based Ghanaian hip-life artiste, Reggie Zippy of Reggie ‘N’ Bollie fame describes Ghanaian artistes as very selfish. Also, they are backwards unlike their Nigerian counterparts. Furthermore, he stated that the Nigerians artists unite for the growth of their industry.

Moreover, he stated that Ghanaian artistes come back and make noise. This is when given an opportunity by Nigerians to perform at their shows. However, they don’t work together as a team. Also, he added that Nigerians are on top of the music game in the UK.

Reggie made these comments during a Facebook discussion on the need to make Ghana entertainment Industry grow.

Nana Ama McBrown Campaigns Against Tramadol Abuse

Ghanaian screen goddess, Nana Ama McBrown has added her voice to the few Ghanaian celebrities who have voiced against the abuse of tramadol.

The abuse of Tramadol, best known as Tramol is alarmingly increasing among the youth in the country.

Gh One news anchor, Nana Aba Anamoah and her team started the fight against the drug abuse months back.

They did a documentary using a few areas such as Old Fadama in Accra for their research.

Their documentary and campaign has received appraisal from many respectable personalities in the country.

Tramadol is an opioid pain medication used to treat moderate to moderately severe pain.

However, report in recent times suggests that abuse of the drug is ruining the lives of many young Ghanaians.

This has gingered some celebrities to campaign against it. Most of them have called on the government to put strict regulations on accessing the drug.

So far, celebrities such as Shatta Wale, Fancy Gadam, Nero X among others have also added their voices to the campaign against the drug abuse.

Some have even embarked on tours in some selected High schools across the country to campaign against the abuse of the drug.

Nana Ama McBrown Mensah has pleaded with the youth to desist from the misuse of the medicine.

The TV presenter cum actress said she would not have been a superstar if she abused drugs when starting her career as an actress.

McBrown further disclosed that she was surprised to be informed about the rate at which the youth has been abusing the drug in the past months.

Mrs. Mensah also advised them to choose their friends wisely. This she said is because, some of these youths are influenced to engage in illicit drugs by their so-called friends.

Tramadol is a pain relief drug, which according to medical experts, functions like heroin. It can cause psychotic problems as well as damage vital organs in the human body if abused.

Recent surveys have shown that the drug is being abused by some youth, as well as some market women, drivers and in some cases students.

Findings have shown that Tramadol abuse has killed more people than heroin and cocaine.

I Broke My Virginity In 2017 – Actress

Ghanaian actress, Baby Blanche, has made a startling revelation about her sex life.

The ‘Hot Fork’ actress revealed that she lost her virginity just last year.

She spoke to News-One and revealed that she was able to keep her virginity for a very long time because she is “a good girl” who had a good upbringing.

“Actually I am a very good girl. I didn’t do it early. I broke my virginity not very early and I didn’t do it before I turned 18. That’s why I am saying I am a very very good girl. Some girls broke their virginity early and if they weren’t raped then they are very bad girls,” she stated.

“Why are you curious? What made you do it? That means there is a problem with your upbringing as girl and that’s my opinion. You broke your virginity at the age of 12, 13, 14 …really? Religiously, it is wrong to have sex before marriage. But legally it is accepted in Ghana to have sex at 18. So at least if you can’t abide by the rules of God who is sympathetic, you can do it after 18. So I did it way after 18. I broke my virginity last year,” the actress added.

Baby Blanche, who is in her late twenties, again said that she does remember the day she lost her virginity. She also added since then she has had s£x other times as well. But she further stated that she cannot remember the last time she did it.

“I am not a sex freak. I should extremely be into you…What I mean is that I have to be into you to enjoy making love with you. It doesn’t mean that every day I do it. It could be one year but the day we do it, wonders must happen. But I don’t remember the last time I had sex and also I won’t talk about my relationship in the media,” she concluded.

Baby advised that young people who can’t stay off sex before marriage should, therefore, emulate her steps because it is the right thing to do.

Biography

Born Blanche Worae, she started basic education at the St Paul’s Lutheran School and continued at Swedru International School.

She is an alumna of Aggrey Memorial Senior High School in Cape Coast. She also read Strategic Communication at the African University College of Communication.

Baby Blanche started acting in 2008 after high school and has since featured in a number of Ghanaian movies.

Among her movie credits are ‘Rhapsody of Love’, ‘Love & Sex’, ‘Hot Fork’, ‘Adult Only’, ‘My Sister’, ‘Sons of Satan’ and ‘Hotel Babylon’.

She took a break from the movies for five years due to criticisms and returned last year to produce her personal movie titled ‘Trophy’.

She will start shooting her second production in June. Baby is also coming up with a TV show about women dubbed “Girls Girls With BB”.

Baby revealed that her top four Ghanaian actresses are; Nana Ama McBrown, Yvonne Nelson, Yvonne Okoro and Roselyn Ngissah.

She launched the “Operation Remove Your Dross”  campaign in Ghana months ago.

 

Kofi Adjorlolo And I Were Never A Couple, The Media Invented Everything — Victoria Lebene

Ghanaian actress and socialite, Victoria Lebene Mekpah tells a different story about her relationship with Kofi Adjorlolo. Furthermore, for over a year everyone knew that the two celebrities were in a serious relationship. However, Victoria disputes those claims. She states that they didn’t date.

Ambolley Jabs Stonebwoy For Not Singing In Ewe Language

Veteran Highlife musician, Gyedu Blay Ambolley has bashed Dancehall act, Stonebowy for not singing in his local dialect, Ewe.

Ambolley, couldn’t fathom why the BHIM Nation boss up to now still doesn’t have even a single song in his mother tongue, Ewe.

“Stonebwoy is an Ewe boy, he has to use music from his tribe. Stonebwoy is singing more Jamaican Patoa than his own his own local language,” he said.

Meanwhile, Stonebwoy recently prided himself in singing in the Jamaican Patoa so well. He added that he is so good at the language that even Jamaicans are unable to decipher whether he is one of them or a Ghanaian.

But the legendary musician contends Ghanaians artistes must develop music from their own languages instead of copying from other countries.

He questioned why the ‘Tomorrow’ hitmaker is bent on promoting another person’s language at the expense of his own.

“It’s the Jamaican that came out with that, our brothers that were sent away to the other side of the world, they came with that patoa. It’s their identification. They took them away from Africa,” he noted.

Africa is the source so why is it that you have to leave the source and follow the branch?” Ambolley queried.

The veteran singer added that the current crop of musicians must learn to embrace their culture.

Anas Will Die On November 30 This Year – Prophet Reveals

A man of God has predicted that, investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, would lose his life before the end of 2018.
In a report sighted by Ghaflagh.com on Mynewsgh.com, the man of God who is noted to be revered indicated that the journalist was going to lose his life on November 30.
But the report further states that, Anas would have to see him for some spiritual directions. Thus, if he wants this calamity to be averted.
The Prophet, according to the report is well known for his incisive and precise predictions. But he has chosen to remain anonymous this time following the uproars associated with prophecies about celebrities recently.
According to the report, the prophet explained that the death of Anas’ mom was the curtain raiser for his exit too.
He explained that Anas’ mother knew about the source of her son’s powers. Indicating that, there was an uncanny spiritual link between him and his late mother.
Expatiating further, the prophet said Anas and his mom had entered a blood covenant with the devil. This was to however wane if she(Anas’ mom) died. It had been assumed then that his mom would live long into even her nineties if Anas never flouted the rules.
However, Anas flouted some of the spiritual rules, and this led to his mother’s death as an act of revenge from the gods who had empowered him.
The prophet said when Anas realized that he had made an error that would cause his mother her life, he tried to appease the powers with a sacrifice of 12 cows at their shrine in Mali but was told it was too late.
So he had known that his mom would die long before she did but could do nothing about it. The reason Anas was not able to behold his own mother’s corpse. The Prophet said, Anas’ mom’s spirit was so angry it would have struck him if he neared her corpse.

The prophet who said he could state on authority that Anas belonged to the Illuminati, said he had additionally been entangled in an intricate loom of many spiritual commitments which were now throttling him as he could not satisfy all the demands of the many spirits he served.

This, he said, was why Anas would not live long unless the family came to see him (the prophet) to pray for them. He said he was at the funeral grounds of his mother and had already made contact with his family.
The family, already knows the truth that his mother’s death at the rather immature age of 61 was a direct result of Anas’ known involvement with the Illuminati.
This is something which they had always warned him about. But they have agreed to do whatever it would take to save Anas Aremeyaw’s life.
Watching him die after his mom would be like throwing the only egg after the hawk that had carried the chicken away.
In principle therefore, the family has agreed to bring the following items to see the prophet:

three cola nuts, sand in which Anas’ feet had been imprinted, two white calico cloth materials, 32 snails, four mice, three black cats, four white cats, the good old red under-pant of women of old, a lock of Anas’ hair and sample of his urine.

The pastor would not disclose the cash involved. But the report indicates that, family insiders revealed that he had mentioned the need for GH¢60,000 to appease the angry gods. The family is seriously seeking these items to prevent further deaths in the family. However, Anas does not seem willing to cooperate.
This was the complaint of Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ distraught sister, Deladem.
“He does not seem ruffled enough to provide the needed urine and lock of hair, as suggested by the revered pastor.”
she complained bitterly.
“He only says nothing could bring our mother back and he was not dying today nor tomorrow so we should stop worrying ourselves.”  A family member lamented.
But according to the prophet, the earlier the items were brought, the better. If not, nothing would save the life of the ace investigator.
Meanwhile, a close aide of Anas Aremeyaw has said that Anas is a spirit and would never die. He would only disappear. Nobody would ever see his body. And he would certainly not die now.

Pappy Kojo, Nero X , Others To Rock Westside Salahfest 2018

The 2018 edition of the annual musical event dubbed ‘Westside Salahfest 2018’ is scheduled to come off on June 18.

This would however be the second edition of the event since its inception.

Venue for the event is Takoradi at the Market Circle in the Western Region.

The event was highly lauded last year for bringing together thousands of people of the Islamic faith across the Muslim communities in Takoradi and its environs on one platform.

Sponsoring the event is Sleeky Promotions in partnership with MTN Ghana.

Artistes on the bill for night include; Pappy Kojo, Nero X, Nhyiraba Kojo and a host others.

The Western Regional Marketing Manager of MTN Ghana, Ike Jonfiah, said this is first time his outfit is sponsoring the Salahfest in the Western Region.  The company is although known to be the main sponsor of the event in Accra and Kumasi.

“We are hoping Westside Salahfest becomes explosive as we look forward to maintaining our partnership with Sleeky Promotions to mark it as an annual event here in Tarkoradi,” he added.

CEO of Sleeky Promotions, Sadick Assah, on the other hand is urging all music lovers to attend the event.

The event, according to him which will witness a colourful display of motor riding, cycling and other activities.

The winners of the cycling segment will receive surprise packages from MTN.

The beautiful actress turns 35-years old today, May 28, 2018.

She has been awarding her loyal fans and followers on Instagram to mark the day.

Some of her lucky fans and followers have so far won items such as shoes and credit cards.

Her fans could not help but to thank her and wish her a happy birthday.

Another great thing about today for Mrs. Baah is that she is celebrating the day with her youngest daughter, Kora.

Beverly Afaglo is the wife of Hiplife artiste Choirmaster (Eugene Baah) of Praye fame.

Multiple awards-winning Ghanaian rapper, Kofi Kinaata is currently touring Europe.

Kofi Kinaata has over the years carved a niche for himself in the Ghanaian music industry.

He has a wide fan base scattered across the world and plans on appreciating all of them.

As a result, he is embarking on tours across the globe to reach out to his fans.

Weeks ago, he hinted of embarking on a European tour this year to thank his fans in Europe.

This event, however, kicked start in Vienna (Austria) last Saturday, 26th of May 2018.

The “Last Show” hitmaker thrilled fans at the Club Escalera in Vienna with a splendid performance.

He shared photos of the event on his various social media platforms thanking all patrons.

Meanwhile, fans in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands and finally Sweden are to eagerly await for the arrival of Kofi.

Kofi Kinaata’s European Tour is powered by Young Mission Entertainment based in France and Ghana.

The “Confession” hitmaker has been to France already.
