My Father Raped Me More Than Once And My Mother Was Always In Support Of Him

Indeed, things are happening in this 21st century of ours. Having sexual relationships with a close family member, which is often termed as ‘Incest’ is a taboo, an abomination in Ghana and some parts of the world.

However, there are people who hide and engage in this abominable acts. But what happens when a father is the one committing this ‘sin’ with his own daughter?. Not only that but with the full support and knowledge of the mother?. What then happens to the poor innocent child involved? So my question is if the world has accepted LGBT’s (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender), is it also going to endorse incest?

A Ghanaian woman has revealed her horrible past to a Facebook relationship speaker and blogger, Abena Magis.

Sharing rape cases with the #Menso, Abena Magis has used her Facebook page to share almost 10 cases from both men and women who have been sexually abused.

The anonymous woman explained how her father started his evil act. She recounted how her father started his evil act. According to her she recalls him pressing her boobs and hitting her ass one day. And unfortunately for her, her mother was also in support of this act.

#Menso – raped by my father

Dear Abena,

How do you report your dad for sleeping with you when the one helping him is your own mother? Only a few people know this part of my history but i want to share if only you’ll keep my identity intact.

I was 10 years but very fat and taller than most of my mates. I couldn’t run and was very quiet. I had breasts and was wearing the same size of clothes like my mother.

I don’t remember how my dad started but I remember I one day went to tell my mother that my dad touched my breasts and it wasn’t the first time. She was cooking banku and used the bankuta to hit my head to shut up. She called me “gyimifo” (useless) but will smile if my father hit my buttocks. She will say “wo ne wo ba yi de?, as? obi ne ne yere.” (As for you and your child, you’re like husband and wife)

Then one day, my dad raped me. I shouted and my own mother came to the door and told me to shut up. I was disturbing her sleep. I was so shocked that I stopped crying. I remember the pain i felt in my thighs was more than my vagina pain.

I stopped eating and became withdrawn. I lost weight and my teacher one day asked me. I told her everything from kenkren to krankran. My mother came and told them that I was lying. I’ve been having nightmares which her pastor says it’s a witchcraft manifestation.

Abena, my dad raped me two times after that. I wasn’t eating well and I’m sure they didn’t want me to talk again so I was warned by my mum never to talk again. I ran away when I was 12. I slept on the streets and sold chewing gum and water. I was raped once and got a boyfriend so he was the one protecting me. He was a truck pusher then later trotro mate but was rapping too. He told me he will hit one day and his wife (me) had to be educated. He took me to Syto and paid my fees. I was living with him in our one room. He died on the streets during a gang fight when I was in SHS 1. We’d been together for 5 years.

A teacher I trusted told me to stay with her. She helped me pay my fees till I finished. I found work and finished poly but before I went on to the University, I went to look for my parents. They had thought I had been kidnapped for rituals. My father died when I was 14. My mother is still alive. She’s an old woman now. I’ve forgiven her but she doesn’t know I have kids. I send her money whenever I can but the last time she saw me ganigani was 3 years ago.

Wisa speaks about his fine payment.

However, Wisa Greid has come out to deny those reports. He states categorically that his fine for gross indecent exposure wasn’t paid for by Zylofon Cash’s Halifax Ansah Addo.

According to him, he, his management team and some friends at the Ghana Tourism Authority paid the fine. Therefore, it’s not Halifax as widely reported.

Zylofon, Halifax Didn’t Pay For My Fine – Wisa Gried

Eugene Ashie, best known as Wisa Greid has debunked rumors that Halifax Ansah Addo bailed him out.

On April 30th, the Accra circuit court found Wisa Gried guilty of showing his penis publicly to a crowd when he was performing at the 2015 edition of Citi Fm’s Decemba2Remeba, at a time when he had a major hit, titled ‘Ekiiki Mi’.

He was charged with gross indecency and was fined an amount of Ghc8,400. He was however to serve 24 months in prison should he fail to pay the amount.

It was later widely rumored and published that, Halifax had rescued Wisa from going to jail by paying Ghc10,000 for his fine.

Halifax Ansah Addo is the newly appointed Head of Communication for Zylofon Cash and Zylofon Events.

However, Wisa Gried in an Instagram post has stated that Halifax never paid for his bail.

He stated that his bail was paid by himself with the help of CEO of Black Avenue Muzik ‘D BLack’ and some friends at the Ghana Tourism Authority.

He further explained that Halifax happens to be a friend and called to offer his assistance. Adding that he never knew he(Halifax) even worked for Zylofon.

“I want to categorically state that my fine was paid by myself, CEO of Black Avenue Muzik ‘D BLack’ and our friends at the Ghana Tourism Authority who support the creative arts.

“Zylofon didn’t pay my fine nor did anyone from Zylofon. My friend Halifax called earlier today to offer assistance as a friend. I’m surprised to see stories flying about tagged Zylofon rescues me and pays my fine.

“I didn’t even know Halifax as [was] a staff of Zylofon. I knew him as a friend”, he added.
