Nana Boroo nearly quit music.

Ghanaian musician, Nana Boroo was on hiatus.

Moreover, according to him, he was away because he was still brooding over a broken heart. He said his career came to a halt when his friend musician snatched his girlfriend.

However, he spoke about how his career nearly came crashing.

He says his spirit was dampened by the celebrated broadcaster Kwame Sefa Kayi and Kofi Kum Bilson.

He made these statements to Kasapa Fm.

“Before releasing the song, I showed it to some top radio personalities including Kwame Sefa Kayi and Kofi Kum Bilson. But the response I got what kind of ‘foolish’ song is this?”

Kwesi Pratt praises Joe Mettle.

Veteran journalist, Kwesi Pratt Jnr showers some ‘praises’ on Ghanaian gospel musician, Joe Mettle.

Moreover, it seems Kwesi Pratt Jnr loves Joe Mettle’s music. He describes him as humble and honest.

Furthermore, according to the journalist, Joe Mettle’s honesty is incredible and worthy of emulation.

Kwesi Pratt Jnr commented on Joe Mettle’s assertion that fellow gospel musician, Patience Nyarko’s songs were popular than his under the year review

“I’ve seen it widely reported in the Newspapers that Joe Mettle has admitted that Patience Nyarko’s song was more popular than his and that, that song should have won the award.

I’ve never heard such sincerity in my life. He’s acknowledged that someone else was more deserving of the award. His sincerity is incredible, I don’t know him but what he’s done is worth commending, his humility has stunned me. He’s really earned my respect, he’s indeed unique.”

Raquel is back.

Female musician, Raquel took a musical hiatus for some years. However, she’s back and explaining the incident that happened in 2012. Moreover, in 2012, while she performed she had a wardrobe malfunction and ended up exposing her vagina.

However, the artiste says most female artistes do not wear panties to perform on stage.

Furthermore, she indicated that her wardrobe failed her totally.

Moreover, she disclosed that performing on stage without wearing panties makes it possible for most female artistes to move around freely on stage. Therefore, the decision by some female artistes to go ‘pantless’ during stage performance.

Raquel stated that she isn’t the first female artiste to expose her vagina to the world.

“I’ve seen Beyonce perform on stage without wearing an underwear and a pant. Even Janet Jackson comes on stage naked”

Also, Raquel lamented over how Ghanaians descended on her, her family, colleagues and managers by spreading photos of her nakedness on the internet.

Psalm Adjetefio needs help.

Veteran Ghanaian actor Psalm Adjetefio, popularly known as ‘T.T’ is now in dire health. Moreover, he is out of money to take care of himself.

Furrthermore, T.T has a heart condition which requires surgery to fix. However, the surgery is expensive and costs more than he can afford.

Psalm Adjetefio made these statements in an interview on Joy Fm.

Moreover, Adjetefio laid down his predicament. He stated that he needs money to help him take care of his bills.

Adjetefio’s case has gotten many Ghanaians talking because he’s become desperate he has to go on radio to beg. However, if he dies anytime soon, his family would become richer than they could have ever dreamed of as ‘big men’ would donate to his funeral.

Ghanaian actors like Kyeiwaa, Atwe, Isaac Amoako, Gloria Agyemang and many others have left the country.

However, actor Bernard Aduse Poku says he knows the reason why. The actor is popularly known as Koo Musuo. The actor has been an actor for about twenty years.

Moreover, he made these statements on Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix show on Angel TV.

He stated that there are a myriad of reasons for the migration. However, he believes the standard of living is a major factor. He explained that majority of the actors are not comfortable with the degree of wealth and material comfort available to them. Therefore, they decide to move to the USA, U.K and other countries. Also, he stated that there are several opportunities outside the country actors enjoy when they leave. Therefore, they should not be blamed when they decide to relocate.

The actor stated why he lives in New York. He revealed that his nuclear family over there.

TIME releases their list.

TIME Magazine releases an annual list of the 100 Most influential people in the world. Furthermore, the 2018 edition is out.

Moreover, this year’s list has Ghanaian US based fashion designer Virgil Abloh. Recently, Virgil became the artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear collection.

TIME releases the list every year. Moreover, the list includes those who have dominated the headlines within the past year across the globe. Also, those who shaped world events the most based on their influence.

The list is divided into five sections: leaders, artists, pioneers, icons and titans.

Aside Abloh, other names on the list include the Crown Prince Harry and his bride Meghan Markle, U.S President Donald J. Trump, US based South African comedian Trevor Noah, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Oprah Winfrey and others.

Prince David Osei talks about the movie industry.

Ghanaian actor, Prince David Osei had an interview with Abeiku Santana on UTV’s ATUU show. Furthermore, he stated that some of the attitudes by his colleagues hinder the progress of the industry.

Moreover, he stated that unlike the Ghana movie industry, there is so much love and unity within the Nollywood actors and actress.

Also, he believes until the actors and the actresses become one in the industry there is no way they can move forward.

Comments about the movie industry from Prince David Osei

“Sometimes those saying things about you have not spent even two minutes with you before, just because he/she knows you in the industry, they say all sought of things to tarnish your image and reputation.

Even if someone has a busy schedule and there is a role for him or her to play in a production, he or she can pass the role to a different person but it is not the same in Ghana. It is only backbiting that they know best.

There is no unity, there is no love. When you are progressing in the industry, people try to pull you down.” 

Bisa K’dei talks about his career.

Award-winning Ghanaian High-Life musician, Bisa Kdei challenges the claims that his career is dead. Furthermore, this is due to the fact that he can no longer release hit songs. Moreover, this was after his song ‘Mansa’ increased the level of his popularity in Ghana and in Africa.

The singer made these statements on Rainbow Fm 87.5 with Danny Fii. Furthermore, he said his musical career is not dead as some people are saying.

Moreover, he released an album, ‘Highlife Konnect’ over the weekend.

Also, he revealed that Ghanaians are ungrateful and they never appreciate whatever given to them. He stated that he first released strong banging songs. However, he received critics which led him to change his style into low banging tunes which he is also being criticized.

Bisa K’Dei’s comments about his career and album

“When I released the banging tunes, I was criticized and so I decided to release slow songs. But I am being criticized again for not releasing banging songs, I am doing what I have to do. I have a new album out.” 

Ahuofe Patri reacts to the allegations.

Actress, Ahuofe Patri responds to claims that she is a drug addict. Also, she responded to the fact that she was pregnant.

Furthermore, the actress and photo model denied both allegations. Moreover, she asked the public to disbelieve because she does not smoke weed neither is she pregnant.

Furthermore, Priscilla Opoku Agyemang said the media goofed when they involved her mother in the weed smoking report.

According to her, she was sad after the rumour went viral because journalists involved her mother. However she got over it because that was not first-time such unfounded claim has been leveled against her.

Ahuofe Patri on growing a tough skin for bad publications so she cares less about such rumours.

“The weed smoking rumour really affected me especially when they involved my mum. That was a bit under the belt but I’m good now, life goes on. The weed allegation is not true and I am not pregnant. I guess now I’m getting used to it and my mum is also getting used to it. It comes with the job so I can’t take the good ones and ignore the bad publications. It did not affect my ambassadorial deals. The good thing is that I’ve people who know me so my works have always spoken for me not these rumours.” 

Kumawood actress Benedicta Gafah has again denied any ‘beef’ between herself and colleague, Tracey Boakye.

According to the Zylofon Media Signed actress, she and the Shakira Movie Production boss are not friends but just colleagues.

Benedicta Gafah went on to state that she has no friends in the movie industry with the reason that “it is much better and safer”.

Giving reasons for her not befriending any industry person, Benedicta disclosed that “I think it is much better and safer”.

Benedicta Gafah’s speech;

“I don’t have a problem with anybody. She is not my friend, we were just working colleagues. My friends are not even in the industry and I think it is much more better and safer that way. The industry people are okay but maybe it just happened that my kind of friends are people not in the industry and that does not mean those in the industry are not good”. She said.

She also disclosed that she’s currently on set working with Zylofon Media on their new movie titled ‘The Conversation.’
