Shatta Wale Is One Of The Greatest To Ever Do It In Ghana — E.L

E.L praises Shatta.

VO Nation rapper, E.L has some thoughts about the dancehall acts. Furthermore, according to the rapper, he is one of the best to ever do it in this country.

Moreover, the rapper, real name Elorm Adablah, appeared on TV3’s ‘New Day’. He was there to promote his latest video ‘Overdose’.

The presenters asked about Shatta Wale. Elorm had good things to say about the musician. However, the two artistes have had differences in the past.

E.L about Shatta Wale in the music industry

“Shatta is one of the greatest artists to ever make music in Ghana.”

Wale would go head to head with Ebony, Joe Mettle and Stonebwoy this Sunday for the 2018 VGMA Artist of the Year award.

However, the rapper believes for that award Ebony deserves to win it hands down.

Stonebwoy Finally Breaks Silence On Prophet Nigel’s Death Prophecy

Awards-winning Dancehall act, Stonebwoy has finally commented on Prophet Nigel Gaisie’s prophecy about his death.

Few days ago, the popular prophet was seen prophesying to the wife of Stonebwoy in his church. According to Prophet Nigel Gaisie, a musician in Illuminati wants to kill the ‘Hero’ crooner. This he said would be through a fatal car accident more than that of the late Ebony Reigns before Easter next year.

The prophet added that the plot to cut short the life of the Stonebowy had been going on for a while. However, they have not been able to succeed because of the fervent prayers of the artiste’s late mother and a convent she made with God.

He further asked Stonebowy’s wife to inform her husband so they can come and see him and when they do, he’ll reveal whoever wants to kill him to them all.

Stonebwoy has for the first time spoken about the prophecy through a phone-in call on GHOne TV on the Late Afternoon Show with Berla Mundi.

Asked if he believes in prophecies, the ‘Mightylele’ hitmaker answered that as long as he believes in God he believes in prophecies.

In the about seven minuted call, he added that there are some ‘behind the scene’ issues that led to his wife going to the church in the first place which he is not willing to share.

Stonebwoy said he respects men of God a lot because they are God’s children. And since he believes in God when such prophecies come he pays attention to them. This he said is because he believes they are coming from God.

He however added that when prophecies of death are made public it puts fear in people. According to him, this ends up taking the concentration of the prophecy itself away and people begin to speculate.

“First and foremost, I respect men of God a lot because they are all God’s children; so as I believe in God, when such prophecies come I believe that I will also pay heed and pay attention just because I believe that it is coming from God and also trust that I will make an effort. That is how come you saw my wife in that situation although it wasn’t supposed to be that way.

“What I know is that prophecies such as death and the rest when publicly broken, prophecies of death and evil and such puts fear in people and causes more damage and takes away the concentration of what is meant to be done, that is the situation,” he said.

Stonebwoy  however said that he wansn’t scared when he heard the prophecy though. This he explained is because as a human being we will all die. But it is only the time that no one knows. And that as humans, if we live in fear it makes life difficult.

He stated that men of God should desist from putting fear in people with their prophecies. Especially those who do that for fame and not not necessarily because God has revealed anything to them.

Don’t Let Hypocritical Ghanaian Men Control How You Dress — Stephanie Benson Advises Female Artists

Stephanie Benson has strong words for female musicians.

International jazz singer, Stephanie Benson spoke about the hypocrisy of Ghanaian men. Furthermore, the artiste is known for her love of sultry clothes.

Benson made these statements on Showbiz.

Moreover, she said female artists face enormous obstacles in the industry. Therefore, they must define themselves without caring what other people say. This is especially about Ghanaian men most of whom are hypocrites anyway.

Stephanie Benson’s advice to female musicians

“As a female artiste, you need to find what works for you. You can choose to be explicit or you can tone down your appeal. However, how you choose to express yourself should come from you. Therefore, you should not be dictated by some hypocritical men who prefer you act and dress in a particular way.

For some female artistes, their sex appeal is in their lyrics while for others it is in the way they dress. The important thing is to do what works for you and it should come from within and should not be fake.

You should not be scared to be yourself as a woman. Just remember that people will criticise you because of who you are but your voice will always shine through and you will succeed as long as you do not compromise yourself.”

Stop Self-Medication And Drug Abuse – Samini Tells Ghanaian Youths

Dancehall star, Samini has expressed great worries about the current intake of unprescribed cough mixtures and pain killers among the youth in the country.

It’s very common in our part of the world to see people taking drugs which are not prescribed by any doctor or physician. Self-medication has become a culture among people across all ages.

Though we try as much as possible to ignore this act, we cannot argue on the fact that this has claimed hundreds of lives. Those who are fortunate to escape death may either lose their memory or develop another kind of sickness.

The situation, though worrying is hardly ever talked about as many have taking it to be a ‘normal’ act. It’s however even more serious among the youths of today. Many of these use tend to use drugs like, codeine and tramol, without prescription. And the after math of taking such drugs is usually vice.

Samini indicated that drug abuse was claiming precious lives hence the need to check the act.

According to the ‘My Girl’ crooner, government needs to do more to eradicate such abuses. Adding that even though there have been several documentaries and educative programs to lead kids and the youth away from drugs.

“That’s a crazy thing happening right now among the youth. We have been hearing this since we were kids. This is like a clear picture. It was like a myth but now we are seeing kids buy and mix things up…” he told Andy Dosty.

“I know people who looked healthy but now look older due to the effect of the drugs. Before they could come close but they can’t anymore…”

He cautioned the youth to desist from self medication and drug abuse.

“Don’t drink or take drugs when you know very well you are not sick. It has no benefits to your health…” he advised the youth.

Samini was speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM.

Mzbel And Friends ‘Mock’ Dr. Bawumia, Call Him ‘Oldman’

Songstress MzBel, in a Facebook live stream has mocked the Vice-President of Ghana, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia and the NPP government.

In the video which has since gone viral, MzBel and some unidentified men were heard saying the many promises of the NPP government has affected them.

According to Mzbel, the load of work at the presidency, coupled with the pressure on the NPP government to fulfill their numerous campaign promises seem to be seriously affecting the Veep’s looks.

They mocked Dr. Bawumia over what they described as his inability to withstand the political heat and prove to Ghanaians that he is competent.

They were heard saying Dr Bawumia, who was a “fresh boy” in opposition has all of sudden become an “old man”.

This according to them is as a result of his inability to withstand the political heat and prove to Ghanaians that he is competent.

“They were always saying Mahama is incompetent and now that they’ve come they can’t see anything. Mzbel and her friends said amidst laughter.

They further added that; They thought it was easy.”  They were bragging about working under Kufuor and thus know more.

“Now Bawumia fresh boy has turned into an Oldman at ones. The pressure is too much. His hair has turned grey unexpectedly,” she said in Ga.

They did not end it there but also taunted the entire Akufo-Addo led government.

They described President Nana Akufo-Addo as “King Promise” and the Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta as “James Bond”. According to them, the President deserves the title because he is very fond of making unfeasible promises.

As for Mr. Ofori-Atta, James Bond, they say, best fit him as he is noted for talking about the sale of treasury bills and bonds.

“We’ll call him King Promise and the Finance Minister James Bond. He’s always looking for bonds and now he’s even bringing China bond, ” they mocked.

“You guys have gotten what you’ve been looking for. The numerous promises you voted for. Now you want to protest against the government for not fulfilling them. For the where? Mzbel also added.

“I recorded three free songs for his first album that HighGrade produced for him. I used to buy food for him and even gave him transportation becuase we were all hustling together”.

We aren’t on talking terms. I wouldn’t want to pretend to you that between us everything is fine. For me to pick my phone to call Stone, I wouldn’t do that.”

Four (4) Different Kinds Of Kisses And What They Mean

To kiss means touch or caress with the lips as a sign of love, sexual desire, or greeting. Kissing may be the best form of foreplay. They can be tender, passionate, angry, and can make or break a sexual connection. Every kiss has it’s meaning.

Take a look at four of them below;

1. The Kinky Kiss

Kinky kisses usually consist of biting and tongue pulling. What does it all mean? You want to turn it up a notch. These are great during hot hot lovemaking. Paddle not included.

2. The Angry Kiss

When we’re angry and upset at our partner, a kiss is the last thing we want or need. But, they try anyway. They are apologetic and come closer so they can plant a kiss on us. These kisses are just what they seem – a little angry with a dash of “I’m sorry.”

3. The Tap Kiss

A tap kiss is a quick way to show your affection without putting on a show. You can also plant one on your honey with firmness. Or a peck right before bed. This kiss means that there is a level of comfort within the relationship. A routine has been established. You don’t have to show your love by sticking your tongue down his throat every five seconds.

4. The Sad Kiss

Also known as the “goodbye kiss,” this kiss occurs when you part ways with your partner. Whether he/she is going overseas for work or going on vacation, this kiss is made to last.

According to the ‘My Own’ hitmaker, he believes that Shatta knows when it comes to freestyle rap, he [Samini] was second to none.

Samini insisted: “he can’t stand me when it’s freestyle. He knows; he knows. I know he is a freestyle artiste too and I can’t disrespect for that fact but he knows I am bad when it comes to that…”

Stressing on the lyrical battle, the HighGrade Family Movement boss urged the Zylofon signed artiste to ready a huge capital should he dare to accept the battle.

“He [Shatta Wale] needs big money and investment so we showcase the thing once and for all to Ghana and the world so everyone knows he just talks. He can’t go on any platform without mentioning me. If you say someone sabotages you, you need to prove that…” Samini told Andy Dosty.

Shatta Wale on the other hand is yet to respond to Samini’s challenge.

Kindly watch video below;
