Victoria received the Classic Model of the year award from the organizers of the Accra Fashion Week. Moreover, this was during the 2018 Maiden Edition of their Awards and Honors.
Furthermore, this award comes as no surprise to many. This is because the model is celebrated both locally and internationally. Also, she is a role model for many that look up to her.
According to Victoria Michaels, all the other nominees in the category are all winners.

Ghanaian designer, Jeremiah Obuobi is one of the best designer to come from Africa. Furthermore, his concept of designing shocks and makes people marvel whenever they see his work.
In 2007, Jeremiah Obuobi got a contract by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). He designed and manufactured the first ever BBC Africa Radio Awards trophies. Jeremiah produced all 20 trophies for the show in 22 Karat Gold plating of brass metal.

The designer is out with a new breed of designs. Moreover, he calls it the “AKAN HEAD”.
The Akan Head basically talks about the ingenuity and commitment shown by the Akan to survive over the centuries. The migration of the Akan tribe to West Africa have a long standing history of coming from one common area and from one ancestor. The Akans believe to have migrated from Canaan and moved through Ancient Egypt (Kemet) and Nubia (which is modern day Sudan) through the Sahel to West Africa.
Also, the Akan tribes have over the years shown high levels of ingenuity in Governance, academia, medicine, design, music architecture. Therefore, this artwork celebrates the contribution of these tribes in Ghana who have contributed positively through creative vision for the betterment of the people and other tribes they have lived peacefully with.
The designs comes in the form of apparels, cases & skins, wall art, home décor, bags and stationery.
Veteran Ghanaian actor, Henry Harding, aka Pattington Papa Nii “Papafio” has turned down donations from actor Gloria Sarfo.
Gloria Sarfo, best known as Nana Ama of ‘Effiewura’ TV series fame has been making some donations to some of Ghana’s veteran actors to mark her birthday celebrations.
However, Papa Nii, says he will not accept such donations because of its publicity. According to him,Gloria has called him several times. However, he keeps giving her so many excuses because he does not want such donations.
“Gloria has called me about ten times but I did not answer. Because I want to state emphatically that, right from the beginning, I was not interested in receiving any donation from her.” He said in an interview with Sammy Flex on Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon 102.1 FM.
Papa Nii maintains that if anything at all, the receiver should be the one to to decide to broadcast the gesture and not the donor.
“The receiver of a donation should be the one to decide to broadcast the gesture and not the donor. Personally, I have made several donations yet, no one knows about them. Thus I advise Ghanaian celebrities to emulate this way of giving to the poor and needy in society”, he added.
Meanwhile, Gloria Sarfo, also in an interview with Sammy Flex, says she has been donating to various orphanages on her birthdays. However, she decided this year, to donate to a number of veteran actors. According to her, this is her way of appreciating their contribution to the movie industry. And Papa Nii “Papafio” is also part of her list.
Veteran actors such as Grace Nortey, Grace Omaboe, Paa George, Fred Amugi have so far received cash and some items from Gloria.
Ghanaian socialite, Moesha had an interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour. Furthermore, she confirmed the assertion that she sleeps with men to be comfortable.
Also, the actress and Instagram model told Amanpour that yes, she’s sleeping with a married man. Moreover, the money is to rent an apartment because it’s impossible for a Ghanaian woman on her own to be able to afford that.
However, the interview annoyed a lot of Ghanaians on social media. They tore into her on social media for disgracing not only herself but all Ghanaian women so prominently on the global stage.

Ghanaian singer, Efya calls on men to treat women with respect. This is because a woman is the creator of a man.
Furthermore, Efya recently released a single titled ‘Woman Whoman’. She said her single is all about celebrating women for the crucial role they play in the life of men.

Legendary music group, VVIP marks 20 years of an awesome career. Moreover, VVIP have announced an initiative to build hospitals in zongos all across the country.

Embattled look-alike of ace highlife musician Daddy Lumba, ‘Daddy Lumba Jnr’ says he believes the suit against him by his mentor is a move to introduce him to the world.
Lumba born Charles Kwadwo Fosu filed a lawsuit at the Accra High Court some months back. In his suit, DL alleged that the young musician, born Kwame Anokye, professes to be his son. Adding that he even goes as far as impersonating him to get gifts from people.
However, ‘Daddy Lumba Jnr.’, who now prefers the name Anokye Supremo, told Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz that, Daddy Lumba once commended him for his efforts in following his steps.
According to him, his role model once said to him “very soon I’ll introduce you to the world.”
Therefore, to him, the lawsuit may be his role model’s way of indeed introducing him to the world, which humbles him immensely.
“Who am I to be taken to court by Daddy Lumba? Who am I? I thank God for it,” he stated.

Anokye Supremo was a contestant in the ‘Just Like You’ reality TV show. This show gave artistes the platform to mimic their favourite celebrities. Kwame Anokye on that show imitated Daddy Lumba.
After the show, the musician, who is a spitting image of Daddy Lumba launched his musical career.
He’s credited with songs such as; ‘Krom Aye De’, ‘Efri Nea Efiri’ among others.
Madam Francisca, former wife of Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, has opened up on some aspects of her previous marriage.
According to her, her ex-husband has been a great influence and complement to her life.
Speaking in an interview on Accra-based Joy News, Madam Francisca revealed that she was not a woman of God before she married the pastor.
She made mention that she was who she was because of her marriage to Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams.
Madam Francisca said that the man of God put some fire in her and made her a woman of God. As a result, she indicated that she owed a great debt of gratitude to Archbishop Duncan-Williams.
She went as far as thanking God for the life of her ex-husband, who is the Presiding Archbishop and General Overseer of the Action Chapel International Ministry.
She also added that she had also influenced the man of God positively while they were together.
According to her, she fought, prayed and built together with her ex-husband when he decided to start a church.
The woman of God recounted how they used to wear just slippers, held service in the mud. Adding that amidst all that, they kept the faith until the church rose to become what it was today.
The marriage of Archbishop Duncan-Williams and Francisca hit the rocks in late 2001. The two had been married for 26 years before the divorce.
Ghanaian actress, Moesha Boduong had an interview with CNN. Furthermore, she spoke about sometime last year. A lot of people wondered what the interview was about.

When a mandarin duckling hatches, its mother has to coax it to jump out of a tree. The colorful ducks live in southeast Asia, Great Britain, and some parts of North America.

Highlife sensation, Bisa K’Dei revealed that he submitted entries into this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. However, he couldn’t find his name on the list of nominees.
He said this in an interview with Joy News’ Maxwell Amoofia. Furthermore, the artiste was disappointed that he missed out on the nominations for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards this year.

“I did file for the nomination. However, I have been disappointed since.”
Moreover, he said that he should have been crowned Artiste of the Year in 2016. Therefore, this is considering the massive public appeal and public opinion.
‘Everybody was saying, I should have won the Artiste of the Year. I thought I should have gotten something.”
However, in spite of the shortfall, Bisa K’dei is optimistic that the future holds greater prospects.
“There is better luck next time. Next year is there. I am going to try my best to hard to work so that I’ll be there next year.”

Architects and designers do wonders to their work when they work to construct and build something unusual. There are many architectural marvels across the world which will leave you awestruck. From a list of those unique structures, we bring you some of the amazing buildings around the world.
1. Piano House
Piano House in Huainan, China, is a building served by the Urban Planning Exhibition Hall to display plans for innovative architectural projects in the city. This building however has the shapes of a piano and violin. It was built in 2007 and is made only from glass. Another amazing thing is that the transparent violin has escalators and staircase to enter the main piano building. The structure is reportedly designed by Hefei University of Technology.
2. Shoe House
The Haines Shoe House is also a shoe-shaped house located at Hallam in Pennsylvania. Shoe salesman Mahlon Homes is the architect of this house in 1948. It has a living room located at the toe, kitchen in the heel and two bedrooms in the ankle. Currently, Jeff and Melanie Schmuck is the owner of this home.
3. Wonderworks
Architect Terry Nicholson is the designer of the Wonderworks building. You can find it at Orlando in the United States. The building appears as if it was picked up by a storm and dropped upside down. Most importantly, this incredible building is actually built in an upside-down manner.
4. The Crooked House
It is located at Rezydent Shopping Center in Sopot, Poland. Designed by architect Szotynscy Zaleski, the building however looks like a painting by a drunk painter. Built in 2004, the building is considered to be one of the most photographed structures in Poland.
5. The Dancing House
The Dancing House or Fred and Ginger is the Nationale-Nederlanden building in Prague, Czech Republic. The designers for this building are Croatian-Czech architect Vlado Milunic and Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry. It however took four years to complete this building, thus from 1992 to 1996. Besides that, the name for the style of the modern glass building is deconstructivist architecture.

Ghanaian music producer, Riddim Boss has released a new single dubbed “Body Fi Body.” He recruits Zylofon artiste-Shatta Wale, Beehyve Entertainment songstress-Feli Nuna , one corner hitmaker – Patapaa , Bobo Pee and Qwabena King on this one.
‘Body Fi Body’ was masterminded by the Ghanaian Reggae & Dancehall music producer, Riddim Boss (formerly Infectious Beatz) himself.
The song comes with a danceable tune and is intended to take over the airwaves soon.
From time to time, everyone experiences a headache. Furthermore, this can be due to anxiety, fatigue, stress or worrying over a problem.

Quick ways to relieve headaches
Rest

Many B vitamins are involved in the formation of neurotransmitters, such as serotonin, which may be deficient in people who suffer from migraines. Former Ghana’s Most Beautiful(GMB) contestant, Baaba Botchwey, has signed a contract with of GH¢200,000 with Kingdom Billionaires Limited (KB).
The contract is to support the ‘Mental Health Education project’. This is an initiative of the reigning 1st Runner Up of the 2017 edition of the pageantry.
Kingdom Billionaires Limited aims at uplifting the financial status of humanity. They do this through the the financial literacy and financial opportunities which they sell online (TBN).
Speaking at the contract signing, Mr Prince Darkey, project manager for Baaba said his outfit was delighted to be associated with the worthy cause in the interest of women.
The contract comes with a package of GH¢10,000 worth for her image right. As well as using her on their website and project T-Shirts.
According to Mr. Tony Y. Kwateng, CEO of KB Limited, the gesture forms part of the company’s corporate social responsibility.

Speaking further, Mr. Kwateng said KB, as a consumer-oriented company was very pleased to hear that the GMB queen has such an initiative to curb Mental Health Education.

“We will ensure that we have a cordial relationship with this project and ensure that the company and brand are well positioned on the local and international market,” he added.
“We appreciate your initiative and wish you all the best in your drive to get funding for it,” he said.
Baaba Botchway expressed her gratitude to the management of KB for the support. She also urged other companies to emulate the kind gesture.
She also made it known that the project, which begun some year ago, was progressing steadily.
Other previous Ghana’s Most Beautiful participants are also into various projects. Some of these projects are attainment of the Millennium Development Goals, environmental protection, proper sanitation, girl-child education among others.

Born Helena Baaba Botchway, put up very excellent performances throughout the show. The 27-year-old however emerged the 1st Runner Up of the 2017 Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageant show. Baaba, as she was her stage name hails from the Central region of Ghana.

The golden blindfold signifies the riches of the world which has blinded human beings but if we can take off the blindfold we can restore ourselves to greatness.
The fist stands for stands for black power with the three stripes below the wrist representing the Trinity which is the title of the album.
Rose flower has always been used to express love and it’s no different in this case. The rose flower represents the songs on the Trinity album that touches on love and also a gift to his female fans.
The halo around his head is symbolic of something sacred and connects with the title of the album #3nity.
The three sides of the shaped (triangle) represent the #3nity and also one main monument of Africa.
The Public Relations Officer for Charterhouse, George Quaye responded to several questions. Furthermore, these questions were why none of the six artistes signed onto Zylofon Media are performing.
The spokesperson spoke about it in a conversation on Radio Univer’s. Moreover, he denied claims that his outfit blacklisted all artistes from Zylofon Media.
Also, according to him, all nominated artistes for the 19th edition of the awards cannot perform on the night. Therefore, the public should not believe rumours that they intentionally sidelined all six artistes on Zylofon Media.

There are several big and respectable musicians who are also not on the bill so the Zylofon Media artistes missing on the bill is not intentional on the side of the organisers to sideline them. It would not have been bad if we had booked Stonebwoy or Shatta Wale but I feel the list we have is a good representative of Ghanaian music and they will give the event a very good image. I agree with you (Zionfelix) that it would not have been bad to have any of the artistes from Zylofon but those we have billed are also not bad so let us use them for the event.
There will be many VGMAs in the coming years. Shatta Wale is back to the awards and who knows, he might be the headline artiste for next year’s event. We don’t have any problem as organisers of the event maybe Zylofon Media would have something else to say if you call them”.
