Poor Ghanaian Men Don’t Cheat, Only The Rich Does – Fisherman

Chief International Correspondent for CNN, Christiane Amanpour flew to Ghana to conduct interviews on the topic ‘Sex and Love Around the World’.

She’s interviewed some Ghanaians about the topic to get their divergent views on it.

In one of the episodes she landed in James Town, a fishing community in Accra. There she spoke to a young man believed to be in his mid-forties on ‘Is cheating a rich man’s game?”.

However, the young man who doubles as a footballer and fisherman said he believes only rich men cheat on their wives. This according to him is because they have the mean and can afford to have mistress’ aside their wives.

“I don’t cheat on my wife because I’m poor”. He answered, when quizzed whether he cheats on his wife or not.

His answer which was rather interesting made Christian Amanpour probe further about the relationship between ‘money and infidelity’

“So this is rather interesting, you did say that you don’t cheat because you are a poor person, would you say that the people who cheat are mostly the rich people who can afford to have a wife and a mistress and a girlfriend”, she asked.

“Because of their money, when you are rich you can decide to choose any woman you want, but I am a poor person I have to stay with one lady”, he said.

Background

Instagram sensation, Moesha Boduong, earlier told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour that women in Ghana sleep with married men for money for survival.

According to her, the root of all these is because Ghana’s economy very bad.

“[In] Ghana, our economy is in such a way that you just need someone to take care of you.

“You can’t make enough money as a woman here because even if you want to get an apartment, in Ghana you pay two years in advance and I just started working, where will I get money to pay for an apartment for two years,” she told Amanpour in an interview.

Moreover, the singer took to social media to ask Ghanaians to help her out of her frustration. This is because she represents several ladies who are also in the same condition.

Furthermore, she noted that she critically watched and analyzed her words when speaking to award-winning International journalist, Christiane Amanpour. Therefore, she concluded that Moesha is not happy about her actions. Also, she needs help to walk out of it.

Celestine Donkor believes Ghana is faced with a lot of problems which make life difficult for the people.

Below is the post gospel musician, Celestine Donkor, wrote on her Facebook page

Dear Ghana
HEAR MOESHA OUT! – She is not entirely wrong. She Represents the voice of Many Confused, Frustrated and vulnerable “MOESHA(s)’/WOMEN in our society.

Though she was blindly and shamelessly pretending to be enjoying that “Kind” of life, I zoomed closer to her eyes and I saw in her-a woman who is hurting inside helplessly with the unrealistic desire and wish that MOST WOMEN LIKE HER WANT A BETTER AND A MORE DIGNIFYING LIFE.
Yes! A few women have been able to breakthrough these barriers and have become successful, but the truth is it wasn’t easy for them either.

Listening to Moesha critically on her interview with CNN’s Amanpour, these are few thoughts I gathered:
1. A society where fresh graduates are expected to provide evidence of 5years working experience before getting a job, will surely breed “MOESHA(s)”

2. A society where one has to pay two to three years advance cash down for accommodation will surely breed “MOESHA(s)”

3. A society where talented and intelligent women have to suffer sexual harassment in the office and offer sex for a promotion they deserve will surely breed “MOESHA(s)”

More on her post

4. A society where even so called pastors sell expensive anointing oil, collect counseling fees and sleep with women before praying for them, will surely breed “MOESHA(s)”

5. A society where politicians park many cars at home like a commercial garage and refuse to help young women who desperately needs help unless they offer their bodies will surely breed “MOESHA(s)”

6. There are a lot of young church girls who genuinely want to live for God, but life challenges makes them helplessly reduce themselves to the MOESHA standards.

And oh
“A society where a doctor will take off oxygen and watch a baby die just because the mother couldn’t afford to pay for 533.00 Worth of oxygen to keep her child alive will surely breed many many more MOESHA (s).

Dear MOESHA,
Thank you for being the voice of many MOESHAS out there. But my dear, Life is not all about owning cars, houses and looking good. One day the owner of your life will come back for you… It is better to struggle here on earth and enjoy eternal life after, than to waste your beauty for vanity and burn in hell….Please Think About this!

Kindly share till MOESHA gets this.

Top Musicians Said No To Feature On Kuami Eugene’s ‘Angela’

Kuami Eugene is on the rise.

‘Angela’ is a big song in the country. However, Kuami Eugene faced hustles before recording the song.

Originally, the song was to have a feature. However, it was impossible.

Richie Mensah, boss of Lynx Entertainment explained the reasons for it.

He explained on Zylofon FM. Moreover, he disclosed that three top Ghanaian artistes were contacted to feature on the song. However, they all said no to the request.

According to him, the musicians were reluctant in working with Kuami Eugene. This is because he had not shown Ghanaians his talent. Richie added that he understood the musicians for declining their feature at the time they needed them for the song.

Furthermore, he said things have changed after the song became a monster hit following its release.

“When we were trying to make the boys, did you see anyone helping us? Why do you think that their songs don’t have features? When we were releasing Angela last year, I can mention three big artistes we tried to get on it but all turned it down.

I don’t blame them because they were thinking he is new and has not proven himself yet but now that they have proven themselves, when we make calls for feature, they easily agree to jump on it”

We Made Ephraim Popular When Nobody Knew Him In Ghana – Ahkan

Ahkan rebuffs Ephraim’s claims.

Music group Ruff N Smooth reply music producer and singer, Ephraim.

This is over his claim that the two are ungrateful.

Moreover, Ephraim passed certain comments Zylofon FM. He named in Accra Ahkan and Bullet who form Ruff N Smooth as ungrateful musicians. This is because since they failed to pay him after he recorded a song for them years back.

However, Ahkan reacted to the allegation. He called the producer’s claim false. Also, he added that he is just an attention seeker.

Furthermore, Ahkan was on TV Africa to promote his new single, ‘Amina.’

He told Nikki Samonas that they made Ephraim popular. This is because nobody knew him in the country before they worked together ten years back. Also, he cannot fathom why Ephraim would now come out to make such a statement a decade after recording ‘Sex Machine’.

Moreover, he strongly believes that the CEO of SpeedUp Music made the reckless statement to gain attention because he recently released a single and needs the hype for promotion.

Ahkan on Ephraim’s comments on ungratefulness

“I don’t know why Ephram will come out now years after recording Sex Machine to be saying all these things. We recording Sex Machine with him 10 years ago made him popular in the country. Nobody knew him ten years back and that is one good thing about Ruff N Smooth. We always try to help those nobody know to shine so I don’t know why he made those statements.

I think he is trying to promote a song so he wants to get that publicity. What he said is not true. We brought him into the limelight because nobody knew him . We were able to put him on the map for a lot of people to start working with him and he started becoming famous.”

This is what the Ghanaian man had to say:

“When you are rich you can decide to choose any woman you want. But I am a poor person. I have to stay with one lady”.

These interviews show how different people react in relationships. This is because for Moesha she exchanges her body to be comfortable. However, for this man he is faithful because of poverty.

CNN Finally Speaks About Moesha Bodoung’s Interview

Ghanaian actress and model, Moesha Babiinoti Boduong has been making headlines for some hours non-stop now.

It all started when she appeared in an interview on CNN with Christian Amanpour.

Moesha blatantly said during the interview that Ghanaian women including herself sleep with married men for money.

According to her, the economy in Ghana is too difficult as a result women including herself seek to sleep with married men for support.

Her comments, seems not to have gone too well with most Ghanaians. Most Ghanaian celebrities hence descended heavily on her. They do not agree with the fact that she classified all Ghanaian women.

But CNN has spoken, saying it will not take Moesha’s view to represent the whole of Ghanaian women.

CNN twitted: “This is one woman’s view. We don’t take it to represent all of Ghana. If you take a good look around our page, you will see positive portrayals of Africans. We are always happy to hear your story suggestions so please message us.”

Moesha Boduong Needs To Be Applauded For Her CNN Interview – Captain Smart

Adom FM’s morning show host, Captain Smart  has called on Ghanaians to applaud actress cum model Moesha Boduong for disclosing the ‘bitter’ truth instead of condemning her.

Moesha Budoung has come under heavy criticisms for saying in an interview that Ghanaian women, including herself sleep with married men for money.

The actress said this on CNN during a discussion on ‘When being a mistress is a financial decision’.

According to her, the state of Ghana’s economy has compelled her to sleep with a married man for survival.

“Ghana our economy is such that you just need someone to take care of you because you can’t make enough money as a woman here. When you want to get an apartment, in Ghana you pay two years in advance and I just started working, where will I get the money,” she noted.

Asked what the man expects in return, Moesha said, “He expects me to be loyal and just to date him only and give him sex when he wants .You can’t say no. You have to give him what he wants otherwise he is going to think you are cheating on him.” She told CNN’s Christian Amanpour.

Moesha BoduongCpt

Due to her utterances, she has been labeled ‘a prostitute’ by a section of Ghanaians. Others have also lambasted her for making such utterances on an international platform.

But speaking on Daybreak Hitz, Thursday, Captain Smart applauded the actress for her frankness and called for a rent policy. He further indicated that it was time leaders paid attention to solving the incessant unemployment rate as many graduates and professionals are jobless.

“Even nurses and teachers are still home. They’ve not been posted. What do you expect them to do? In this country, people cannot even take care of their own children. We must be proactive and pragmatic and begin to work; better the life of the ordinary” he suggested.

Captain Smart noted that critics of Moesha are being hypocritical because what she said was indeed the reality.

“Is what she said a lie?” he queried. “We live in a country that they are demanding two-year advance from you for rent. Nobody is talking about it. This lady goes to the international stage and says it and we are pretending as if it’s not happened anywhere before. She is right. We should have a rent policy.”

Photos: Five (5) Most Beautiful Bridges In The World

We’ve come a long way in bridge building since crossing a river on a fallen log. The first bridges were built with wooden planks, ropes and stones. Soon, stronger material were required. Wood and stone bridges gave way to iron, then to steel ones. Bridge building techniques also evolved.

Now architecture can be so singularly powerful that it comes to define a city. Just try to imagine a Paris without the Eiffel Tower, or a Barcelona without the powerful influence of Gaudí. And while bigger, staggering buildings often get all of the love, there’s something more democratic about bridges.

Morden day bridges can be made of stone or steel, suspended or on cables, above ravines, rivers, and oceans. These structures, that fascinate the entire globe, are often part of incredibly impressive design with engineers always on a quest to create taller, longer and more beautiful bridges across the world.

Today, we focus on five of such beautiful bridges:

1. Banpo Bridge (Seoul, South Korea)

Overlooking the Han River, Banpo bridge transforms into a rainbow sky after the sunset. In Seoul, the bridge provides access to the Seocho and Yongsan districts, providing a safe way to cross the river, especially during the rainy season. The pouring fountain measures 570 meters and attracts many curious people every year, who often come to observe this rainbow colored water pour into the river 20 meters below.

Obviously, we could not talk about bridges without mentioning the Saint-Nazaire Bridge, and the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge (New York), the start and end of The Bridge 2017, a race designed as a fraternal bridge commemorating the trail landing, back in 1917.

2. The Dragon Bridge (Da Nang, Vietnam)

Crossing the Han River in Đà Nẵng, Vietnam, this suspended deck bridge has 8 channels, 6 roads, and 2 sidewalks. Measuring more than 37 meters, this bridge ends with an impressive dragon head that even breathes fire! At night, this impressive dragon lights up with 15000 LEDs.

3. The Wind and Rain Bridge: Sanjian County, China

The Wind and Rain Bridge on the Linxi River of Sanjiang County is gorgeous. Built in 1916 to resemble a rainbow, the builders used no nails or rivets but instead dovetailed thousands of pieces of wood.

4. Sydney Harbour Bridge, Australia

Sydney Harbour Bridge is the world’s tallest steel arch bridge, measuring 134 m (440 ft) from top to water level. In its beautiful harbour location, it has become a renowned international symbol of Australia.

Its total length including approach spans is 1149 metres (3770 ft) and its arch span is 503 meters (1650 ft). The bridge – nicknamed “The Coathanger” because of its arch-based design – carries rail, vehicular, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic between Sydney’s central business district and the North Shore.

5. Millau Viaduct, France

The Millau Viaduct is part of the A75-A71 Freeway from Paris to Montpellier, and is located in the Aveyron départment in southern France. It is the highest bridge in the world, standing 270 meters (890 ft) over the Tarn River and is more than 340 meters (1,125 ft) in height at the top of its highest mast.

It is slightly taller than the Eiffel Tower in Paris and only 38 meters (125 ft) shorter than the Empire State Building. It is a cable-stayed road bridge designed by engineer Michel Virlogeux and British architect Norman Foster.

I Nearly Committed Suicide – Actor Bernard Nyarko

Bernard Nyarko recounts his life story.

Kumawood actor, Bernard Nyarko reveals that he considered committing suicide. Furthermore, this was after his biological mother disowned him.

Moreover, the actor said he contemplated ending his life at the moment his wife took everything. This included taking the children away from him.

According to him, his life became miserable because he didn’t have anyone to support him.

Bernard Nyarko on contemplating suicide

“I’ve once begged for money at Kejetia. It came to a point when a cousin I allowed to stay with me in my mother’s house brought misunderstanding between my mother and I. My mother and I became enemies because she sacked me from the house.

I had to stay with friends and had nothing to feed on too. I had nowhere to stay with my children. Life was indeed difficult for me and my kids as I was forced to eat gari soakings with them. My kids were miserable.

At a point, I decided to take my own life with a gun because things were growing from bad to worse so I wrote a letter to thank everyone and then I end it all. After loading the bullets in the gun, I heard one of Kojo Antwi’s popular inspirational songs playing on Ash FM and upon second thought after carefully listening to the words in the song, I gave up on my suicide decision. I immediately threw the bullets away and said to myself that I won’t kill myself but inspired myself that life has ups and downs and the fact that I’m down doesn’t mean I’ll remain there and that is how far God has brought me into the limelight.

I always prayed that one day God will turn my pain into praise and that is how far He is has brought me today… I’ve washed utensils and scrubbed washrooms for almost a year in London. At the time when life was unbearable for me and the kids, that was when my wife left me. She eventually went away with my kids and that was the time I decided to take my life.”

Moreover, Nyarko said his rapid growth in the movie industry was unusual. This is because he never thought he would climb higher so fast.
