Popular actress Grace Omaboe accuses the opposition National Democratic Congress of deliberately attempting to destroy her business as well as her career.
According to her, the NDC wanted to kill her career. This was because of her unpopular decision to join the New Patriotic Party. This was after contesting as a parliamentary candidate for the Nyafuman in the Birim North District on the ticket of the NDC.
Furthermore, Grace Omabo won a case of negligence brought against her orphanage for the sodomy of a six-month-old baby.

“It was very political. I had a license but I had not renewed it. It was not illegal because I was operating the orphanage and they were bringing the children to me. I had registered an NGO and every year I had to go and renew it, that is what I knew and I decided to use my house as a shelter. It wasn’t even meant for children alone, it was meant for women and men who were distressed…and the social welfare knew about it and OSU children’s home also knew about it.”
Grace Omaboe was a household name due to her acting, TV and radio programmes. However, she said movie producers and directors even failed to cast her in movies. This is because they were sceptical people especially NDC members wouldn’t buy the movies.

A year or two ago I was concerned about the intergenerational gap and was concerned as to whether the younger women really have the vim as well as having the same views about the need for gender empowerment. So seeing ‘Pepper Dem’ come up is so gratifying, I am so excited and with the counter, ‘Sugar Dem’ is very healthy.”
Currently, ‘Pepper Dem Ministry’ is Ghana’s most popular feminist group.
Moreover, the group made strong waves in the digital space with unconventional ideologies and stance. This is in relation to women, sex, intimate relationships, and marriage.
On the other hand, Sugar Dem gang is spearheaded by Adom Fm Presenter, Afia Pokuaa. She says she’s ready to stand for men and protect them from the toxic narratives being paraded around.

Ghanaians woke up on Wednesday morning only to meet a despicable and obnoxious act perhaps ever committed worldwide.
A video in which a man, believed to be a mortuary attendant is seen ‘examining/fondling’ the mortal remains of the late dancehall star, Ebony Reigns and her friend, Franky Kuri.
What probably made it worst was the fact that the whole incident was recorded and later leaked by an unknown person.
Many who watched the video or heard of the act have since called on the Ghana Police service to punish the perpetrators.
Everyone descended heavily on the mortuary attendant whose identity is still yet unknown.
However, a recent interview with the friend of the morgue attendant has revealed that the man didn’t record the video on his own accord.

According to him, he was just following instructions by the pathologists to record the video for further investigations.
Meanwhile, the said act has taken a new meaning, from physical to spiritual.
Reindolph Oduro Gyebi, aka Eagle Prophet, says beyond the physical, there is also a spiritual purpose for the act.
Eagle Prophet, popularly known for predicting the death of radio host, KABA says he has seen Ebony fourteen times in his visions.
According to Eagle Prophet, the recording is a spiritual requirement of someone close to Ebony.
Adding that the person seeks to “tie her spiritually” so she won’t take revenge.
This, according to him is a means to prevent Ebony’s spirit from attacking those who are behind her sudden and “artificial” death.
He further beseeched Ghanaians not to put the blame on the morgue man because he is not guilty.

“Nobody should blame the mortuary attendant. The video was released by somebody close to her, the issue is a highly spiritual matter.” the Prophet said.
“The ghost of Ebony will haunt some people. Because someone close to her wants to tie her soul as part of the requirements to prevent the ghost of the girl from doing what she has to do. So the police should stop looking for the mortuary attendant. He is not to blame for the video.” Eagle prophet claimed.
He therefore called on Ebony’s family to rise up and seek answers “beyond the physical.”
“I have personally seen this girl in my vision for more than 14 times trying to send a message across.. So I urge the family to seek for answers in the spiritual realm.” he added.

So yesterday, we brought you an article on a 4 health benefits of eating tomatoes. The feedback was okay and we got some people asking us some questions.
One wanted to know if she has to boil them or just consume them raw.
Another also wanted to know if it’s possible to drink a raw blended tomato.
Let’s start with second question. Yes, tomatoes can be blended or chopped and eaten raw with boiling them.
As a matter of fact, eating them raw gives you access to all the essential nutrients needed for good health.
However, we all know we can use them in preparing stew or soup.
Hence consider the following tips in case you prefer boiling them before consuming.
Tips;
1. Wash thoroughly
Before serving, wash tomatoes under cool running water and pat dry. This helps to get rid of any dirt that may be stuck on the skin.
2. Consider the seeds
If your recipe requires seeded tomatoes, cut the fruit in half horizontally and gently squeeze out the seeds and the juice. However, we encourage you to think about the recipe and consider whether the tomato could be incorporated with seeds intact. There are simply too many valuable nutrients in the seeds that you would not want to lose unnecessarily.
3. Don’t Cook in Aluminum Cookwares
When cooking tomatoes, we recommend avoidance of aluminum cookware since the high acid content of the tomatoes may interact with the metal in the cookware. As a result, there may be migration of aluminum into the food, which may not only impart an unpleasant taste, but more importantly, may have a potentially unwanted impact on your health.
4. Consider Using the Whole Fruit When Cooking
Whenever possible, try to develop recipes that make use of the whole tomato. We’ve seen research showing higher lycopene content in whole tomato products. For example, when the skins of tomatoes are included in the making of the tomato paste, the lycopene and beta-carotene content of the paste is significantly higher according to research studies.
5. Don’t overcook it as doing so may get rid of all the needed nutrients for good health
Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, known in showbiz as Shatta has finally received the car plus other cash prizes he won during last year’s People’s Celebrity Awards.

The month of March is ‘Ghana Month’. This campaign is for Ghanaians to eat, drink, wear and use only locally produced materials and services.
Radio and TV personality, Abeiku Santana is at the forefront of tourism promotion in Ghana. Moreover, he is pleading with Ghanaians to regard the month with great respect.

During the unveiling ceremony of dancehall act Shatta Wale on his 3-year-contract between him and Zylofon media, he revealed how he first met the C.E.O, Nana Appiah Mensah.
He recounted how he ended up landing himself the juicy deal to the hundreds of people gathered at the headquarters of Zylofon Media on January 31, 2018 to witness the epic moment.
According to Shatta;
“You know, there was this time I was feeling sick and tired… I decided to leave my boys in the studio and drive around town, disguised to release some of the stress. Then all of a sudden, I felt like vomiting and so I parked my car and started vomiting. Then all of a sudden, someone flashes a head light on me, a man comes out to me and asks if I was Ok and if there was anything, he could do to help me,” he narrated as the gathered paid keen attention wondering what happened next.
“He offered to take me to the pharmacy to get me some drugs and then take me to the hospital. I was in a cap, so I raised my face only for him, to realize it was me, Shatta Wale. He wanted to help me even when he had not noticed I was Shatta. He still offered to assist me get home and took my number, so he could check up on me.”
“We then started talking and became friends, then one day he told me, he doesn’t want me to get tired anymore, so I should join his company so he takes care of things,” Shatta Wale concluded.

Daylight armed robberies are on the increase in the country.
A Lebanese man was shot dead in Tema in broad daylight. This was after he went to withdraw cash from the Bank at the Tema Industrial Area.
Apparently, gun-wielding armed robbers trailed the man popularly known after he left the bank in his Toyota Corolla vehicle.
Furthermore, according to reports, the armed gang blocked the deceased’s car. They then shot him and bolted with an amount believed to be 200,000 cedis.

A woman with the name Priscilla Agyekum has narrated a dream in which she had an encounter with the spirit of the late dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns.
According to the woman who hails from the Volta Region, Ebony’s spirit is pleading to come back to life.
“I decided to have a nap in the morning, I slept off and had a dream. In the dream, I heard a cry from a distance and turned back to know who was crying. Lo and behold I saw Ebony saying she will resurrect.
She further narrated that the spirit of Ebony led her to a group of people clad in all black attire. Adding that she told her to inform them that her remains should be removed from the mortuary and there her spirit can come back.
” I informed a friend who bears my first name[Priscilla] and told her everything I saw in the dream and advised I record and send it to Social Media” she added.
Background
The 20-year-old songstress met her gruesome death in a car accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi road on 8th February 2018.
In her company were three others, her friend Franky Kuri, bodyguard Francis Atsu Vondee and her driver. However, all three died with the exception of the driver who survived the accident.
Her final funeral rite is scheduled for 17th March 2018 at the Independence Square.

The man in the viral video of the late Ebony Reigns has finally spoken on the matter.
A video published by an unknown person early Wednesday 28th February 2018 on social media got the majority who watched it angry. Many have since been calling on the police to make sure the perpetrators do not go scot-free.
The video shows a man examining the n*ked corpses of the late dancehall star Ebony and her friend Franky.
However, a friend of the Mortuary man told Nhyira FM’s Ohemeng Tawiah that the mortuary man didn’t take the video out of his own will.
According to him, the man was ordered by the Police Investigators to shoot the video. This he said was to serve as an evidence in their investigations.
Man speaks;
“He was asked by the pathologists working on the bodies to go and check if the bodies were ready to undergo an autopsy. He took videos of them so it could be used as evidence.”
The man revealed this to Ohemen Tawiah pleading for his anonymity.
