My Parents Visited Different Shrines To Save Me – Joe Mettle

Joe Mettle is giving the story behind the marks on his face.

Gospel star, Joseph Oscar Nii Armah Mettle has two marks on his cheeks. Contrary to belief, the marks are not any tribal identification. However, they are there for different reasons.

Joe Mettle gave his explanation on Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix show.

He explained that he nearly lost his life when he was younger. Therefore, his parents went from one shrine to another seeking help to save his life.

According to Joe, his parents sought help from various deities. This is because they did not want to lose him.

He revealed that his parents thought seeking succour from secret places would save his life. However, all their efforts yielded no positive results.

Furthermore, he stated that the priests they called on were not content when they gave him the first mark. Therefore, they added another on his other cheek thinking it would heal him.

All the efforts by the fetish priests to save him proved futile until he met God at 4 years.

Joe Mettle noted that he has not been seriously sick after age 4 when God raised his hands to save him.

Yesterday was Valentine’s Day. All over, the country, people exchanged gifts to celebrate love.

However, the 2nd Lady of the country was not left out of the celebration.

Vice-President, Dr Bawumia surprised his wife, Samira, with flowers. He displayed his love for her.

Samira Bawumia received a bouquet of red roses at her office.

Samira could not keep the smile off her face when she saw it.

Recently, the Vice-President returned from London. He was there for a medical checkup. However, he did not let that and his busy schedule keep him from showing love.

Leader of Hope Generation Ministry, Prophet Dr. Eric Amponsah aka Computer Man  is asking the public to seek for God’s protection for ace Broadcaster Gifty Anti.

According to the Prophet, witches have scheduled a fatal road accident in her name.

The Man of God Prophesied that Gifty Anti would be involved in a fatal accident which might lead her to become crippled. He went on to intercede for her and also asked the members of the Church to inform her to pray about it.

The Prophecy;

“People should inform a certain woman, she’s called Gifty Anti…road accident is what witches have planned for her. I cancel it with the blood of Jesus because she’s important for the nation. Let everyone remember her in prayers,” he said.

He said all this during a Prophetic service at his church.

Over the past year, rumours have been swirling around this celebrity couple. A lot of media reports stated that the marriage between Elikem and Pokello was over.

Furthermore, these rumors gained grounds through their social media feeds.

However, both parties came out to strongly deny any divorce. Elikem even granted an interview where he said his marriage was no one’s business.

About The Relationship Between Elikem Kumordzie and Pokello Nare

Elikem and Pokello met during Big Brother Africa. They became a favourite couple from the competition. Later in their relationship, Elikem proposed during Ghana Music Awards. The couple have a child together.

We’re Working Hard To Give Ebony Reigns A State Burial – Bullet

Ghana continues to mourn the sudden departure of one of it promising artistes, Ebony Reigns.

The news of the death of the 20-year old dancehall act, hit Ghanaians like a heavy branch falling from a tree and hitting the ground.

Though many couldn’t believe it at first with saying it was just a usual publicity staunch. Others on the other hand thought it was just journalists and websites spreading false rumors. However, everyone was disappointed when it all turned out to be true.

Ebony Reigns, born Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng lost her life in a gory car accident on Thursday 8th February, 2018.

She was returning from a short visit to her mother in the Brong Ahafo Region.

Since her demise however, many Ghanaians have shown their love to her by posting her pictures with heart-warming tributes on various social media platforms.

Bullet’s Interview;

Her manager, Bullet, who is also the CEO of RuffTown Records, has granted so many interviews about the young artiste.

In one of such interviews, Bullet revealed that Ebony would be given a State Burial.

Bullet said this when he appeared on the ‘Pundits’ show on GhOne TV with host George Quaye.

According to him, the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) together with GHAMRO are working assiduously to make sure Ebony gets a State Burial.

Meanwhile, the One-Week celebration of Ebony as per customs has been scheduled for this Sunday, February 18, 2018, at St. Martins De Porres School, Dansoman.

 

Pastor Dares Shatta Wale To Proceed And Burn Down Churches

Reverend Sunshine Adam has dared dancehall artiste, Shatta Wala to proceed with his threat to burn down any church as he is reported to have said.

Rev. Sunshine is the Head Pastor of Paradise Way Chapel International.

The Man of God has vowed to show Shatta Wale the power of worshiping a true God if he dares goes-ahead to engage in such an act.

He added that it would have been better if Shatta didn’t mention the likes of Bishop Duncan Williams, Mensah Otabil and Obimim as the only upright Men of God in the country.

“What I know about Duncan Williams, if Shatta Wala has any idea about it, he wouldn’t have mentioned his name, Duncan Williams has more skeletons in his closet for us to talk about” he claimed.

He said the movement for Christ is more a blessing, powerful and rewarding than the so-called Shatta Movement headed by the musician.

Pastor Speaks;

“Let Shatta Wale and his group of people dare attack any Church or man of God and I will personally show him how powerful the Lord is”, Sunshine fumed.

Reverend Sunshine Adam further issued a strong warning to Shatta Wale. According to him, if he dares burn any church before December as he claimed to will, the Christian youth will respond before December.

“Jesus movement is more powerful and mighty than any movement on earth including the so-called Shatta Movement”.

He explained that since the likes of Obinim and other pastors mentioned by Shatta Wale cannot read nor write hence cannot express themselves, and he, Sunshine can read and write, it makes his response to Shatta Wale a nonsense and disrespect to the Christian faith.

Shatta Wale in live Facebook video warned to burn down churches if he’s still alive by December.

His comment follows a prediction by another Prophet who said Shatta Wale will be the next star to die if he doesn’t repent from his sins.

President Akufo-Addo Eulogizes The Late Super OD

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has paid a glowing tribute to the late veteran Ghanaian actor Super OD.

Super OD, real name Asonaba Kwaku Darko passed away on Tuesday in his hometown in Agona Swedru after complaining of weakness. According to his son, Simon Darko who confirmed the news, his father had been ill for sometime now.

The actor began his career in the 1970s. He gained nationwide fame two decades later for his role in the popular Akan Drama television series, Osofo Dadzie.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo took to twitter to eulogize the late veteran actor. He also expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.

He tweeted:

“A legend of our screens and a great entertainer, he brought so much joy to us over the years. I belong to the generation that will never forget “Osofo Dadzie”. My deepest condolences to his family. Rest in perfect peace Super O.D., and God bless.”

The Music Industry Is Dangerous And Cold – Kwabena Kwabena

Highlife musician has portrayed the Ghanaian music industry as one that is ‘dangerous’ and ‘cold’.

According to the ‘Bue Kwan’ hitmaker, the industry is characterized by people who seek the downfall of others.

His comments come in the wake of the several prophecies that foretold the demise of the late dancehall act, Ebony.

Ebony Reigns lost her life with two others in a gory accident on Thursday 8th February. They were  returning to Accra after a short visit to her UK-based mother in the Brong Ahafo Region.

Many men of God and some industry players claim to have fortold the tragic accident that claimed the life of the ‘Maame Hw3’ hitmaker shortly after her demise.

Renowned Sound engineer Kaywa, also proclaimed to have foretold the incidence and cautioned them over it.

Kwabena, who says he’s a staunch believer of prophets and their guidance is hence of the opinion that everyone needs spiritual protection in an industry like this.

Speech By Kwabena Kwabena;

“I am spiritual. If I say I am spiritual, I mean I believe in prophesy and I believe in the men of God to pray for you in everything that you do,” he said.

Speaking on Behind the Fame on Joy FM’s Drive Time with with Lexis Bill, he described the music industry as being ‘cold and dangerous.’

“Our industry is quite dangerous. I know what I am talking about…..I believe the industry is quite cold, there are some few bad ones in there who don’t really wish well for others,” he told Lexis.

Kwabena Kwabena passionately lamented over what he describes as “hate” in the business. He stated emphatically, he is not proud of the state in which the industry is.

“It’s not something I am so proud of. I must say. I am not proud of it. There’s so much hate, there’s no love. There’s no togetherness. People don’t give respect to whom respect is due,” he said.

Sound engineer, Possi Gee aka “Possible” had an interview on TV Africa. His real name is Awal Alhassan. The sound engineer said he was saddened by the demise of Ebony Reigns.

According to Possi Gee, “sound Engineering in Ghana is lucrative”.

Finally, tell God, that I plead with him or her in all humility, that he should stop telling you ONLY about how and when people will die. Tell God, that I respectfully speak on behalf of many Ghanaians when I say that we are tired of our mighty prophet’s obsession with people who are going to die.

Shatta Wale In Trouble: Police To Invite Him Over ‘Threat To Burn Down Churches’

Information reaching Ghaflagh.com indicates that the Ghana Police Service is set to invite dancehall act, Shatta Wale. This follows his threat to burn down churches of some prophets.

According to the ‘Freedom’ hitmaker, he will burn down churches belonging to ‘Fake’ Pastors/Prophets who have predicted that he will die before December 2018.

His threats follows a prediction by a Kumasi-based Prophet E. K. Mensah of the Christ Vision Prayer Ministry. The Prophet had predicted that Shatta will be the next star to die by the end of 2018 if he fails to repent.

Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah was seen ‘blasting’ these Prophets in a live Facebook video. In the video that has since gone viral, the SM King said he will mass up a gang from his Shatta Movement to set ablaze churches if he’s still alive by the end of the year.

According to sources in the Police Service, investigations are currently on-going on the issue. Hence the need for Shatta’s presence.

The Ghana Police Service is yet to however comment officially on the arrest.

Ghanaians Love To Celebrate The Dead More Than The Living? Asamoah Gyan Queries

The Black Stars Skipper, Asamoah Gyan has lashed out at Ghanaians for loving to celebrate the dead more than the living.

Dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns lost her life in a tragic motor accident on Friday 8, February whiles returning from Sunyani to Accra.

Tributes and heart warming messages have since been pouring out from all angles.

However, she was heavily criticized and even insulted when she was alive due to her style of dressing.

Many Ghanaian tagged her with  ‘nudity’ and some even wished her ill luck whiles others went as far as wishing her dead.

Now that she’s no more, the music has changed from bad to good as everyone is celebrating her great talent.

The Black Stars Captain has noted this and and has expressed his disgust at Ghanaians over this behavior.

According to the former Sunderland goal poacher, although he’s currently not in Ghana, he does hear all that go on in the country.

Gyan in an Instagram post noted how Ebony’s songs are being played everywhere now that she’s no more. He goes on to ask Ghanaians to go and talk to her about her dress styles.

Asamoah Gyan’s Post;

“Although we are not in Ghana, we are Ghanaians and sometimes we hear what is going on. Now the person is gone. Go and talk about her state of dressing,” he said in a video he posted on his Instagram page.

“Now that the person is gone they are playing her song everywhere.” He noted.

Asamoah Gyan queries whether Ghanaians love to celebrate the dead more than the living.

“Are we trying to say we celebrate the dead more than the living?”, he asked.

He further advised Ghanaian to change their mentality because things are getting worse.

“We have to change. We have to change our mentality. We were all born in Africa. We all know the African culture but things are getting worse.”

Gyan couldn’t fathom how people just jump into judging others without getting to know them first.

“We don’t know people and we just judge them. I don’t know what people see. Sometimes they see the person and they just judge them.” Asamoah Gyan added.

Breaking News: Veteran Actor Super OD Is Dead

Veteran actor Asonaba Kwaku Darko, popularly known as Super OD, has passed on.

According to reports, the actor passed away on Tuesday, February 13 at the Swedru Government Hospital in the Central Region.

The 84-year-old veteran actor has been ill for sometime now.

Simon Darko, son of the veteran actor, confirmed the sad news to Myjoyonline.com.

According to him, his late father “wasn’t feeling that well” and was rushed to the hospital on Saturday, February 10, but was confirmed dead around 7:15 am Tuesday.

Super OD, started his career in acting in the 1970s. He gained national prominence in the 1990s for roles in popular series, Akan Drama on Ghana Television.

He was a member of the Oppong Drama Group which later became known as Osofo Dadzie Group.

Former President Mahama in November last year after the Unity Walk by National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Cape Coast, visited him to check up on him.

People who visited Super OD when he was sick;

In November last year, former president John Mahama paid him a visit to check up on him.

In the company of the Former President were some members of the NDC including Allotey Jacobs, Central Regional Chairman; Ade Coker, Greater Accra Regional Chairman; Nana Oye Lithur, former Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection; and actor Clement Bonney (Mr Beautiful).

Allotey Jacobs, on behalf of the former President, presented an undisclosed amount of money to the Super OD.

Prior to this,the leadership of Ghana Actors Guild had also paid him a visit. They presented a mobile phone and an undisclosed amount of money to him.

Family Of The Soldier Who Perished With Ebony To Visit ‘Nogokpo’ To Find His ‘Killer’

A family member of soldier who perished with Ebony, LCpl. Francis Atsu Vondee, says the family believes their beloved was sent to protect Ebony by a higher officer.

According to Ian Mcwillis, who is believed to relate to the late soldier, Atsu did not leave post and go with Ebony without permission as per reports of the military. Instead, he says he believes  someone in higher authority ordered him to protect Ebony

Ian Mcwillis, in a Facebook post says whoever sent him to protect Ebony is responsible for his death. Adding that the person must not go scot-free.

He has therefore warned the Ghana Armed Forces to provide whoever assigned their late brother to  or face their wrath. He however gives the military an ultimatum to name that person or they (his family and friends) would visit a shrine and curse that person.

LCpl. Atsu Vondee lost his life in on Thursday February 8, 2018 in a gory car collision. He was in the company of dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns and her childhood friend Franky.

The late Francis Atsu Vondee was a military person at the Ghana Air force. His station was at the Accra Air force Base in Burma Camp in Accra. However, reports says t military didn’t officially deploy him for the bodyguard duties. According to them, he was doing “purely private and personal business”.

His uniform is also serving a 40-day punishment in detention in a guardroom as per their laws according to reports.
