Ebony Used To Tease Me That I Can’t Dance – Kaakie

Dancehall songstress Kaakie, is remembering her many interactions with the late Ebony.

Recently, she stated that she handed the dancehall title to Ebony.

Furthermore, she went on Instagram to post chats she had with her. In it, she revealed that Ebony teased her about her inability to dance.

Shatta Wale Apologizes To The Media For Invoking God’s Wrath On Them

Controversial dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has for the first time rendered an apology for a wrong doing.

Shatta Wale, did not spare media practitioners in his emotionally packed tribute at the one-week celebration of the late singer.

He gave an emotional speech in which he invoked God’s wrath against all those who criticized the late dancehall artiste Ebony when she was alive.

Born Charles Nii Amarh Mensah Jr, Wale accused the media of blatantly badmouthing the artiste on their various platforms.

However, speaking with Prince Tsegah on Showbiz Fylla on Hitz FM However, Wale retracted his speech, saying he was in an emotional state at the time.

Wale’s apology;

That notwithstanding, he apologized saying, “…because of people like you [Prince Tsegah] I will apologize. I will also apologize to some of them who felt hurt by what I said…”

Shatta Wale however called on the media to criticize constructively to avoid hurting of the feelings of other people.

He cited Ebony’s case as an example stating that critics lashed out on her on a daily basis just because of a brand she chose for herself.

“…Some people always bashed Ebony and even made fun out of it. You can criticize but don’t make fun out of it. Don’t criticize us too much…,” Wale noted.

 

MUSIGA Releases All-Female Tribute Music Video ‘Nana Hemaa’

The tribute video is finally out.

In the wake of Ebony’s death, many artists have released a song for her. An example is Sista Afia.

Furthermore, MUSIGA had the biggest tribute so far. They gathered numerous female musicians to sing in memory of Ebony.

Moreover, the tribute song was titled ‘Nana Hemaa’.

It featured Adina, MzVee, Efya, Freda Rhymz, eShun, Feli Nuna and Adoma.

The official music video for the song has now been released by MUSIGA.

Death Prophecy Has Affected Shatta Wale’s ‘Performance’ In Bed – Maurice Ampaw

He’s been quiet for sometime now but looks like he’s back and with another ‘big bang’.

Controversial legal practitioner, Maurice Ampaw says dancehall artiste, Shatta is greatly shaken by death prophecies.

He goes on to say that, the despite putting on a brave face in public, the prophecy has gone as far as affecting Shatta’s ‘performance’ in bed.

Some ‘men of God’ have for sometime now publicly prophesied that the spirit of death is hovering around some public figures. According to these ‘Prophets’ if these public figure fail to do the needful, they would join their ancestors.

Shatta Wale was however mentioned as one of such people being chased by the spirit of death.

Maurice Ampaw was airing his views concerning these prophecies on Radio Univers’ mid-morning show, Brunch2Lunch on Tuesday.

According to him death prophecies put persons in fear and affect their operations, hence, the need to sue.

“When you come out to say Lawyer Ampaw has February to die, do you know the repercussions? You’ve spoilt my day and my month. I can’t satisfy a woman sexually because you’ve killed my libido,” he told host, Abrantepa. “It takes a free mind to be able to get an erection. You’ve denied me my sexual right.”

“As I speak to you right now, Shatta Wale is not of himself. From the day the prophecy was made, he went to pray; he wept at Ebony’s funeral. Do you know what is affecting him in secrecy?” the ‘showbiz’ lawyer queried. “Ask Shatta Michy if Shatta Wale is able to perform in bed. His performance has reduced. He is undergoing mental shock and trauma. Although he has openly challenged the prophets, inwardly, he is afraid because nobody is comfortable with death. He can’t sleep.” He revealed.

It was reported few days ago that a Kasoa-based Prophet, Charles Dady, has prophesied that Shatta Wale will commit suicide out of frustration. Prior to this, Prophet E. K. Mensah of the Christ Vision Prayer Ministry and Prophet Cosmos Walker Afram had also given same prophesies about the ‘Freedom’ hitmaker. It was in response to these Prophesies that Shatta Wale threatened to burn down churches if these prophecies do not come true by December 2018.

But Lawyer Maurice Ampaw affirms that it is out of place to make such pronouncements in public. According to him, people are unable to live a normal life after being told about a possible demise.

“How do you enjoy life? You enjoy life when you are not under any threat, right?  But the moment there is threat and fear, that right to life and enjoyment is curtailed so you can go to the human right court and sue… It creates some sort of stigmatization on your life. Your businesses can even go down,” he avouched.

He stated that he’s not against prophesies but advised that; “You are a prophet. Nobody says do not prophesy; when you get the revelation, call the person. The Bible says God reveals to redeem so the person can then confide in you on what to do.”

Ebony Could Have Been Replaced With An Animal To Avert Her Death – Prophet

Since the sudden demise of dancehall artiste Ebony Reigns, many ‘men of God’ are making so many headlines in the country.

Many of them have since come out claiming they had predicted her death. As a result, many Ghanaians and celebrities have condemned public death prophesies by these ‘men of God’.

However, among all these ‘Prophets’, it was revealed by the management of the late songstress that it was only Prophet Owusu Bempah who communicated with them.

According to a member of the management team, Abeiku Santana, Prophet Owusu Bempah had offered Ebony some directives to observe in order to avert the death prophecy.

They revealed that one way Owusu Bempah did that was for him to willingly give his car to Ebony to ride in when she was attending events.

Amidst all, another prophet, Prophet Nana Kofi Yirenkyi, popularly known as Jesus One Touch has also dived into the controversy.  He’s the founder of Jesus Blood Prophetic Ministry International. However, he is not claiming to have foreseen Ebony’s death. Rather he claims he could have prevented it if it had been revealed to him.

Jesus One Touch claims he could have averted Ebony’s death if God had revealed to him earlier like the other prophets claim.

He explains in a video sighted by Ghaflagh.com that it was possible for him to have replaced Ebony with an animal. This way, he explains the animal would have died instead of Ebony. According to him, he had always done that for those whom God had revealed to him were going to die. “If I were the one that God revealed the prophecy to I would’ve prayed over it and avert it.” “I have done some before for others; all I would do is just to divert her death by replacing Ebony with an animal…this is simple…I would’ve simply reversed her death,” the prophet claims.

Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, aka Ebony Reigns met her untimely death on Thursday, February 8, 2018 in a gory car crash. She was reportedly returning from Sunyani after visiting her mother in the Brong Ahafo Region.

Ebony died together with her personal assistant, Franklina Nkansah Kuri, and bodyguard, Lance Corporal Vondee Francis Atsu.

Meanwhile, March 3 and March 17, 2018 are the dates set aside by families to bury Franklina and Ebony respectively.

Lilwin’s Management Seeks Help From Mallam, Pastor To Avert Death Prophecy

The Management of Kumawood actor and musician, Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin has revealed that they have taken steps to avert the death prophecy on their icon by Prophet Micheal Kojo Poku.

According to Lilwin’s manager, Abdul Razak, management and the actor have taken steps to avert it as they have consulted their Pastor and Mallam.

Abdul Razak stated that as much as they dislike the practice of public announcement of such prophecies, they decided to pray over it.

“I believe in my religion so I’ve called my father; we have done the needful. I’m not scared, Kwadwo [Lilwin] is not scared either. We have told his pastor, they’ve prayed over it. I also called my father. My father is a Mallam,”

Razak was speaking in an interview on Radio Univers’ Brunch2Lunch on Tuesday.

He however clarified their reason for consulting a Mallam, saying that it’s not a bad thing to seek help from a Mallam as perceived by many people.

“We mistake Mallams to be ‘juju men’. No, a Mallam is a teacher. My great-grandfather is a Mallam, my grandfather is a Mallam, [and] my father is a Mallam.” He told host, Abrantepa.

“I’m a Muslim, I believe in my religion. My father told me to respect everything God has created. He told me to take a step in issues like this. God reveals to redeem so we thank him [the prophet]. However, what I know is prophecies concerning individuals are not supposed to be made public. Ideally, you find a means to reach out to management,” the Razak remarked.

According to him, they’ll take legal actions if the public prophecies is continues with his boss.

“it is becoming unbecoming. Next time, we will sue,” he added.

Prophet Micheal’s Prophecy;

Few days ago, Prophet Michael Kojo Poku of Fire Time Prayer Ministry was reported to have said that it has been revealed to him that death was hovering around Lilwin.

According to him “the actor may die prematurely if they do not organize prayer sessions for him.”

The report further quoted the prophet to have said that “Lilwin needs to pass through a ‘powerful’ deliverance session with me to be freed from the spirits of death hanging around him.”

Meanwhile, many celebrities have come out to condemn the growing tendency of some ‘prophets’ who go public with their doom prophecies.

Chairman of the Church of Pentecost Apostle Prof. Opoku Oyinah has also condemned the act.

According to him, it is needless and wrong to stand in public to relay what one believes to be a message from God which could spell grave danger to the object of the message.

Ebony WIll Not Be Given A State Burial – Tourism Minister

The Tourism Minister is setting the record straight about Ebony’s funeral.

According to the Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Hon Catherine Abenlema Afeku, Ghanaian dancehall musician, Ebony will not have a state burial. However, the family will have governmental support but not a state burial.

Moreover, Hon Catherine Afeku added that the government has not promised the bereaved family a state burial. However, arrangements have been put in place by the government to ensure that Ebony Reigns gets a befitting burial.

“That’s a misconception. It is a private family issue. We told the family that on behalf of the ministry, we will help give her a befitting burial and that’s exactly what we are doing.

State burials are at the discretion of the president. That’s not what we promised. Nobody told anyone about state burial but the family is happy.”

According to the actor, he has already featured in seven movies this month. Therefore, the industry is vibrant as afar he’s concerned. He said it’s not dead as other people are going around saying.

Moreover, Akrobeto said they are facing challenges in this new era of easily available movies online. However, they would adapt to it.

Sista Afia has words for Efia Odo.

Yesterday, we brought you a story about Efia Odo and Fella Makafui engaged in exchange of words. Nobody knows what started the fight between the two girls.

However, according to Efia Fella was a prostitute who sleeps with men to afford her lifestyle. She also claimed that Fella was a fake person who used to trash talk about Ebony.

According to her, Makafui has been sleeping with big men in Ghana for money and other goodies whilst pretending on social media to have a godly life.

Furthermore, she hinted that Medikal might have cheated on Sister Debbie with Fella.

Fella hasn’t said a lot of words about the allegations. However, Sista Afia seems to have joined the fray.

Sista Afia is a musician in the country. She posted a video on Snapchat whereby she went in on Efia Odo.

She started by saying she didn’t like Efia Odo and doesn’t understand why they share the same name.

Also, Sister Afia mocked Efia Odo for sleeping with all men in the world but still remaining broke.

She also laughed at her for stealing Ghc 400 from her boyfriend due to how broke she is.

However, she insists she doesn’t know Fella personally but is just disgusted by the fingers Efia Odo is pointing.

It’s An Honor For Sarkodie To ‘Diss’ Me In His Rap – Patapaa

‘One Corner’ hitmaker, Patapaa Amisty says it’s a great honor for BET award-winning Rapper Sarkodie to mention his name in his rap even if it’s an insult.

Up-and-coming musician Ypee recently released a remix to hit his single “Meye Guy” which features Sarkodie and Medikal.

In his rap, Sarkodie talked about how he made it from grass to grace. He however in a line added that Patapaa would have performed at his funeral if he had not made it in Life.

After listening to the song, many thought Sark’s rap will cause a beef between the two since it sounded more or less like a ‘diss’ at him.

Contrarily, the Swedru-based musician has revealed that he sees it as an honor to have his name used in the line even though Sarkodie meant it as a ‘diss’ at him.

Patapaa Speaks;

“It’s not easy for Sarkodie to mention your name in his rap. Which means that God is making ways for me in the industry. Because If Sarkodie wants no one either than Patapaa to perform at his funeral then it means that the man has a vision about me. As a senior rapper like Sarkodie — which is evident that the whole of Ghana no one compares to his rap. Sarkodie is a hero for Ghana. For Sarkodie to sit and pen down my name in his line means I have a bigger future ahead of me.” He said.

Patapaa made this revealation in an interview on “Showbiz Agenda” with Sammy Flex on Monday.

YPEE is an artist signed unto XTwo Entertainment Record Label. Visuals of “Meye Guy Remix” was released Feb 15, 2018. It features AMG rapper Medikal and BET Award winner Sarkodie.  The song, (Meye Guy Remix) has since  garnered over 70K views on Youtube.

Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale has finally unveiled his much-hyped house. It is reported that the house is worth $1 million.

Shatta did a video to show the house. In the video, Shatta Wale was in the company of some friends and loyal members of Shatta Movement. Moreover, they were officially unveiling the $1 million house.

Furthermore, the mansion is located in East Legon. Also, it has some luxurious amenities such as swimming pool, summer hut and many other things.

He disclosed that he bought the house for his longtime girlfriend and baby mama, Shatta Michy.

3 Reasons You Must Stop Using Cotton Swabs In Your Ears

Chances are, we’re all guilty of the notorious cotton-swab-clean, attempting to remove unwanted earwax or simply dry the ear canal. However, this method of earwax removal is actually very harmful to the ear. The act could lead to a host of other challenges for ear health and wellness.

This can lead to dramatic effects… even hearing loss.

2. THE COTTON SWAB DOESN’T ACTUALLY REMOVE EARWAX

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the cotton swab does not actually remove earwax from the ear canal. It is a completely ineffective method for earwax removal. Cotton swabs actually push the wax further into the ear canal, making the problem worse.

3 Natural Remedies To Get Rid Of Bad Body Odor

2.  Change Shoes

A common misconception is body odor comes from the armpits, but one of the foulest odors actually come from your feet. Changing your shoes will allow them to air and prevent the odors from staying concentrated in one area. This cuts down the bacteria that is in the shoe. Burns’ rule of thumb: “Everyone should be switching up their shoes every 500 miles anyway.”

3. Apply Vinegar

Vinegar, whether it’s apple cider or white, can help lower the pH level of the skin for an anti-bacteria environment. Dr. Mehmet Oz of The Dr. Oz Show recommends this home remedy because the bacteria cannot thrive in acidity, and the smell will dissipate. It’s best to splash the vinegar under the arms when you get out of the shower, but not immediately after you have shaved your underarms. This is safe for the skin as long as it’s unbroken. It’s best to do a test on a small patch of skin to make sure you do not react badly.

Ebony Was A Great Cook – Kalybos Eulogizes Late Singer

One unique attribute we have all learnt about the late dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns is the fact that she was a good cook.

Since her demise, almost everyone who was closer to the her has come out to praise her impeccable cooking skills.

And one food they’re all praising her to know how to really prepare was Jollof rice.

We all know the skills and arts needed to prepare this food, not to talk of cooking it well to another person’s satisfaction.

Richard Kwaku Asante, popularly known as Kalybos, has joined the group of people praising the late songstresss for her cooking skills.

He joins the likes of Kaakie, O Gee, Efya among others.

Kalybos who appeared on the latest episode of Celebrity Ride with Zionfelix has paid tribute to the late Priscilla Poku Kwarteng (Ebony), describing her as a good cook.

Kalybos, while narrating his fondest memory of Ebony on the show, said that she was a very good. He added that her great skills in cooking Jollof rice on one occasion made him drag colleague, James Gardner to the singer’s house just to enjoy her Jollof.

Kalybos Speaks;

“Ebony is a very good cook. Last time I even dragged James Gardner along with me and she doesn’t cook Jollof in a small quantity. Anyone who has ever visited her will attest to this fact”-he said.

Kalybos made his debut in acting when he played the lead role in popular short series, ‘Boys Kasa’ alongside Ahuofe Patri. He is currently the lead cast of another hilarious series dubbed ‘Adventures of Kalybos’ that airs on YouTube.

The final funeral rites of late Ebony is slated for 17th March with the venue yet to be communicated.

I Love Dating Older Women – KiDi

Budding hiplife musician, KiDi has disclosed that he likes to date older women as compared to younger ones.

The Lynx Entertainment signed artiste made this revelation in an interview with Delay on the Delay Show last Sunday.

According to him, older women act maturely when there are issues to be resolved.

“To be very honest, sometimes the maturity older women show is very attractive. The things older women will do is far better than people you’re of the same age with… the younger ones will only stress you.” Kidi said.

He stated that he finds it effortless around this kind of women who are mostly straightforward than most young girls.

KiDi however admitted that that age difference in this regard is no problem to him at all.

When asked about the number of ladies he has dated, he was swift to say he has dated four women, adding that the last girlfriend he had was twenty-five years and they dated for just two weeks.

Detailing the physical qualities he looks out for in his choice of woman, KIDI says he likes slim women but who have “big buttocks”.

Funny Face Ranked 2017 Most Influential Comedian On Social Media

Ghanaian comic actor, Funny Face has retained his title as the Most Influential Comedian on Social Media in the 2017 Ghana Social Media Ranking and Report.

The ranking and report was spearheaded by Avance Media, CliQAfrica, Eazzy Social and Dream Ambassadors Foundation GH.

Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng aka Funny Face made the top list with the most followers on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. He has followers numbering over 2.9 Million. He also gained over 550,000 new followers, the highest number of new followers among comedians in Ghana in 2017.

Following him closely is DKB, who has total followers of over 160,000 but recorded a high level of engagement with followers in the year under review. This however made him move from 5th Position in the previous ranking to his current 2nd position.

Comic actor, Lawyer Nti and Comedian OB also made their first entry on the ranking of the 2017 Most Influential Comedians on Social Media. Both however placed 8th and 9th positions respectively.

Prophet Micheal Kojo Poku is a Kumasi-based Pastor and the founder and leader of Fire Time Prayer Ministry.

According to him, God has shown him in a vision that the ‘ladder’ hitmaker will die soon.

He however added that God has also given him some specific directions to be given to the actor.  Insisting that Lilwin therefore needs to see him for a ‘powerful’ deliverance session to avert the looming calamity.

Prophet Michael Kojo Poku’s Prophecy;

“I saw in a vision that Lilwin has died while I was preaching and God told me that, if prayer sessions are not organized for the actor, he may die prematurely,” Prophet Kojo Poku claimed according to a report by GHGossip.

“Lilwin needs to pass through a powerful deliverance session with me to be freed from the spirits of death hanging around him,” he added.

The Kumasi based prophet made this revelation in an interview with speaking to Blay GH of Gossip Mail.

Asked if he has made any attempt to speak to Kwadwo Nknsah Lilwin or any of his management team, Prophet Micheal Kojo Poku explained he has not yet found the means to have an audience with the popular actor to tell him about the impending doom.

Meanwhile, Nkansah Lilwin was part of the celebrities who came out to condemn public prophecies against them by some ‘men of God’.

According to him this can open doors for wicked people to harm celebs. However, in the end, people will say it was natural since a ‘prophet’ prophesied about it.

He also called on national security to investigate the prophets for threatening the society with their death prophecies.

It is therefore unclear how the actor is going to accept this new development concerning him.

Juliet Bawuah is flying high.

Ghanaian Sports Journalist, Juliet Bawuah, over the weekend interviewed President of the world football governing body, Gianni Infantino. This was on the sidelines of the FIFA Summit in Mauritania.

The interview has since aired on local television and radio in Mauritania. However, it will soon air across the rest of Africa all week. The interview focused on a wide range of issues including racism, Leadership, state interference in football. Other topics included women and youth football development, and the 2026 World Cup bid among other interesting football related matters.

Miss Bawuah was one of two Ghanaian Journalists at the summit. The other journalist was Gary Al-Smith.

M.anifest is the gift that keeps on giving

M.anifest has decided to bless the world with a video. He released a video titled ‘Simple Love’ during the Valentine season. The striking short film to the song ‘Simple Love’ is originally off his album, Nowhere Cool.

Makere Thekiso directed the short film. The video depicts a ballerina waltzing through a fish market in Tema, the Ghanaian port city.

Furthermore, Angelica Kankam danced and choreographed the video.

Moreover, the just released piece recently won an award from the South African Society of Cinemetographers.

Ko-Jo Cue and Lil Shaker are telling us their Black History.

BBNZ Live signees, Ko-Jo Cue and Lil Shaker have dropped another project off their critically acclaimed album ‘Pen & Paper’.

It’s the official music video for the single ‘Up and Awake’, which features Kwesi Arthur.

The video is directed by Esianyo Kumodzi.

The music video takes place in the past. It takes place during slavery and the movement to end it. The video evokes powerful, deep, heavy and uncomfortable emotions.

The song talks about getting out of oppression and risking it all to enjoy freedom. This is despite if its an impossibility. The video perfectly conveys that message.

The video follows Ko-Jo Cue, Shaker and Kwesi Arthur planning as escape from their masters or oppressors. It showed the perils they faced just to enjoy freedom.

The Album “Pen and Paper” has recorded awesome trends on iTunes since its release last year (2017). Few weeks ago, it rose up to number 3 again in the top 20 albums in Africa.

The Woman ‘Slamming’ Prophets Prophesying Against Shatta Wale Is Not His Mother – Father Reveals

Shatta Wale’s father has debunked a video of his wife ‘slamming’ prophets prophesying the death of their son.

Few days ago, a video surfaced online of a woman slamming prophets for prophesying the death of Shatta Wale.

According to reports, one Elsie Evelyn Avemegah had condemned Prophet E. K. Mensah of the Christ Vision Prayer Ministry who had prophesied that the musician will die before July 2018 if he does not repent.

Looking at the passion with which the woman was talking, many assumed that she was Shatta’s mother

Speaking on the matter, father of the dancehall act, Charles Mensah Snr. said the woman in the video that has since gone viaral is not the mother of Shatta Wale.

In a Facebook Live video, the alleged mother of Shatta Wale accused ‘those doom prophets who are causing fear and panic in the life of her son and his followers’.

She was reported to have said those prophets will have to answer to her if any misfortune befalls her son.

Asked about the alleged video, Charles Mensah Snr, father of Shatta Wale musician’s mother didn’t record the video.

According to him, the woman could be a loyal fan who only recorded the video to support his son.

He noted that Shatta Wale has become so popular that some people wanted to cash in on his fame.

Shatta Wale’s father said this in an interview with, Prince Tsegah on Showbiz Fylla on Hitz FM.
