I’ll Sue Any Pastor Who Mentions My Name – Okyeame Kwame Cautions

Ghanaian Rapper, Okyeame Kwame has cautioned pastors and prophets to desist from publicly prophesying or preaching about the death of celebrities.

According to the ‘Saucing’ hitmaker, musicians are also humans who have feelings and families and are not only good for public spectacle.

Okyeame Kwame, born Kwame Nsiah-Apau, added that he is ready to take legal actions against any pastor who will publicly mention his name in their ‘death’ prophesies.

Okyeame Kwame’s comments come at a time many prophets have publicly taken credit for predicting the death of dancehall diva Ebony Reigns.

Shortly after the death of the dancehall diva however, some pastors/prophets have again come out to prophesy the death of some other artistes of which Shatta Wale is part.

The Rapper further described such prophecies as

This has infuriated many artistes including Okyeame Kwame aka ‘Rap Doctor’ who took to Facebook to air his views on the subject.

He wrote; “All the Pastors, Prophets who are saying publicly that this Musician Will die and this is cursed and this one will that. Please Stop. Artiste have feelings we have families we are not only good for public spectacle…”

He described such prophesies as ‘spiritual terrorism’, adding that “From today if any a pastor publicly mentions my name in this spiritual terrorism I will sue the person!!!!!!!!”

Others celebrities including Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win, Kwaw Kesse, among others have also condemned such prophecies.

Ebony Reigns known in real life as Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng met her untimely death in a road crash at Nyamebekyere, in the Brong Ahafo Region on 8th February, 2018.

She was returning from visiting her UK based mother in sunyani when she met her untimely demise.

Some prophesies about the death of Ebony;

After her death however, some pastors are claiming they had premonitions of the death of the dancehall singer.

One of such Pastors is the head pastor of Gracious Fire House Chapel, Prophet Richard Gyimah. According to him, he had a vision on Saturday, December 2, 2017, when he was about to preach to the youth of his church that the artiste will die in a car accident just like the way Terry Bonchaka died.

“There is a young girl who sings, her name is Ebony. From now till July 2018 she will have a car accident and she will die. Nothing will save her,” he said.

According to him, the young artiste had consulted something but that thing she consulted will kill her by July 2018.

“I’m a prophet so I speak prophetically. She will not get missing like Castro but she will die the same way Terry Bonchaka had a car accident,” he said.

Is $100,000 Money? – Bullet To Zylofon Media CEO

Bullet is has a response to the interview by Zylofon Media CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah.

Bullet is the manager for sensational musician Ebony. He said the allegation that it took $100,000 to get Ebony off his record-label Ruff Town Records and Midas Touch Inc., was, to say the least, ridiculous and insulting.

He made these statements to Abeiku Santana on Okay FM. According to Bullet, he wouldn’t have a problem parting ways with the singer amicably without money.

However, trying to quantify her was an insult to Ebony’s brand. Also, it was an insult to investment made by RuffTown Records and Midas Touch.

Statement of Bullet About Zylofon’s $100,000 Bailout

Can $100,000 feed me? $100,000 for Ebony, is she that cheap… is $100,000 money? How much is $100,000?… What do they mean by bailout?”

Moreover, he stated that the deal they just signed with Kasapreko was worth more than $200,000. Also, Akon was in the process of talks with them to sign Ebony with a huge sum of money.

Bullet couldn’t hide his fury about the comments. Furthermore, he asked “do those people truly respect the brand of Ebony?”

Five(5) Reasons To Wear Seat belts

You have no doubt seen a couple of advertisements and public service announcements that declare the great need to wear one’s seat belt while in a car.  While the vast majority of studies still prove that wearing your seat belt is one of the best ways to protect yourself in a vehicle, everyone knows of someone who will swear blind that the only reason they emerged from a car accident unscathed is because they were unencumbered by a seat belt. Admittedly, there are always exceptions that prove the rule, but there shouldn’t be a debate when it comes to this issue – if you’re in a vehicle, strap in!

1.It’s an offense not to wear seat belts

If you’re caught not wearing one, you could find yourself facing expensive fines and consequences.

2. It protects your brain and spinal cord

A seat belt is designed to protect these two critical areas. Head injuries may be hard to see immediately, but they can be deadly. Likewise, spinal cord injuries can have serious consequences.

3. The beeping sound from modern seat belts are just plain annoying

Sparing the annoying onomatopoeia, the constant beeps, honks, and random noises that you car uses to remind you to buckle up don’t go away.

4. Sudden breaking won’t throw you forward

While examining your surroundings, you’ll find yourself slamming on the breaks to ensure that you don’t run an unexpected red light. While your vehicle comes to an abrupt stop, you won’t. Wearing your seatbelt can prevent this awkward and rather aggravating occurrence.

5. Makes good use of airbags

Air bags are much more effective when the driver and passengers are wearing their seat belts. If you’re not wearing your seat belt, then your body will most likely not remain in the position in which the airbag can protect you.

The hurting each other, being wicked to each other, being jealous and doing everything you can to destroy someone’s happiness, the betrayals, the disappointments…What’s all that about? The strong desire to destroy someone’s reputation?” she quizzed.

She seized the opportunity to express her love to all and ask for forgiveness from anyone she might have offended.

Pastors Who Predict Celebrities’ Death Must Be Arrested – K.K Fosu

Hiplife artise, K.K Fosu has called on the government of Ghana to arrest any prophet who predicts deaths of celebrities.

According to him, government must arrest all prophets and pastors who come out publicly to predict the deaths of celebrities in the country.

K.K Fosu’s call comes on the back of the untimely death of female dancehall act, Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, popularly known as Ebony.

Prior to this, there were so many prophecies by some prophets pertaining the demise of the 20-year old songstress.

Some industry players as well claimed to have had premonitions of Ebony’s death.

This has not gone down well with K.K Fosu who believes that such assertions put fear and panic in the lives of these celebs.

Kaakyire Kwame Fosu was speaking in a phone-in call on Dr. Can’s Saturday Morning Show on Happy FM.  The ‘Anadwo Yede’ hitmaker who sounded very emotional and angry stevened his frustration and disgust at the act. He pleaded with the government to arrest all those pastors to deter others from doing same.

K.K Fosu is however not the only celeb to express his anger at some prophets making public prophecies about celebs.

Other celebrities including Shatta Wale, Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win, Kwaw Kese and a host of others have all condemned the act. According to them, some wicked people can take advantage of such prophecies and cause harm to celebrities. These people will in the end go unpunished. This is simply because people will attribute it to be natural since a prophet prophesied about it.

Ebony Reigns met her untimely death on the 9th of February, 2018 at Mankranso in a gory car collision. Two others who were in the car with her, Franki Kuri and Francis Atsu Vondee also lost their lives in the accident. However, the driver fortunately survived.

According to him, if he’s still alive by December, he together with his militants will burn the churches of those ‘fake’ prophets.

Shatta Wale’s comments come in a wake of the tragic death of the dancehall diva Ebony where some men of God are also claiming that he (Shatta Wale) will die before December.

Shatta Wale, upon noticing the ‘prophecy’ took to his Facebook page to record a 3 minutes 40 seconds video in which he lambastes those ‘prophets’ who are wishing him dead.

He added that the only person who will stop him from taking such an action is the President.

Shatta  Wale’s Speech;

“If we catch December and I dey give this long notice because I wan make the whole Ghana see something. You see Shatta Wale dey here, if we catch December wey I dey Me and the Shatta Movement, unless the President come beg we; we go burn churches, we go burn churches for Ghana” he warned.

“Because if pastor you see something about your president, ebi your president ein der you for go”, he added.

You people come dey the world inside dey wan live flashy, you wan show we flashy life we go show you who flashy is” he said.

“God is flashy and we will show you that when you are his servant, you dey live like one you don’t live like you dey do business and things” he added.

However, Shatta is not the only celebrity to express his disgust at how some ‘Prophets’ go about prophesying thier deaths these days.

Ebony Reigns, born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, died in a gory accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi highway whiles returning from a visit.

Things We Unknowingly Do To Our Bodies That Are Actually Harmful

Our bodies are the vehicles through which we live. There are several ways we take care of it. However, there are certain things we do to our bodies that unknowingly harm it.

Harmless Things That Actually Harm Our Bodies

Squeezing Pimples

Squeezing your pimples might seem normal. However, it can actually cause you your life. There is a region on your face known as the “Nosalabial Triangle”.  Any pimple you burst around this area may affect you. This is because the veins around this area are connected directly to your brain vessels. Therefore, so squeezing them can get your blood infected with pus which can lead to health complications. The best thing to do when you have pimples is to talk to a dermatologist. Also, stop using any pomade, lotion, make-up or cream on your face for a while and always clean your face with an antiseptic.

Cleaning Your Ears With Cotton Buds.

This is my favourite thing to do. However, we are putting our ears at risk of infection. Removing wax from your ears with a cotton bud does not really get rid of it. Rather, it rather pushes it further deeper into your ears to places it is not supposed to be. This can damage the eardrum and can affect your hearing. The fact is the ear wax you always want to get rid off are actually there to protect you. The wax after collecting dust and foreign materials in your ears will fall off on its own while more is produced to protect your ears.

More Dangerous Practices

Sitting For Long Hours.

Due to the nature of jobs, people are sitting often. But, that’s something that’s definitely not good for our health. When you sit down, the muscles in your leg go off, the expenditure of energy within your body sharply reduces and after several hours, the blood in your veins stagnate, your metabolism slows down, your neck and back begin to ache and after about 2-3 months. After, you will experience muscle atrophy and this brings about weight problems, varicose veins, heart and digestive problems.

Drugs

Drug abuse is one of the things that kills us a lot. These drugs aren’t just limited to cocaine or heroine. The drugs are ones people self-medicate with. Self-medication is dangerous as we might not be aware of the effects of certain drugs on our bodies. We need to see a doctor before we take any drugs.

Alcohol

We all enjoy an occasional drink. However, generally, excessive alcohol is dangerous to your body. It has devastating effects on the body. It is not wrong to drink alcohol, but you need to do it in moderation. Drinking excessively can cause problems to your internal organs. It can even lead to alcohol poisoning.

The Death Of Ebony Has Given Me A Rude Awakening – Efia Odo

As Ghanaians continue to mourn the death of Priscilla-Opoku Kwarteng, best known as Ebony Reigns, many celebrities have taking to social media to eulogize the late songstress.

Photos of the late Ebony keeps popping up on various social media platforms with words of disbelieve and shock.

Many celebrities have taking to social media to eulogize her and share a few moment they have had with her.

From all indications, Ebony Reigns left smiles and memorable moments in the minds and hearts of all those she came into contact with.

Many Ghanaians however still are shaken and surprised at the sudden demise of such a great talented and young artiste.

One of such people is Efia Odo.

As is written in the Holy Bible, ‘For what shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?’ The sudden death of such a young and vibrant artiste has indeed taught many of us great lessons.

In one of her numerous eulogies, Efia wrote how she still can’t believe Ebony is gone forever. She added that the death of Ebony has given her a ‘rude awakening.’

Efia writes;

“Ebony my love I just can’t believe this. We spoke not too long ago. death doesn’t care about who you are how rich or poor you are it doesn’t care how beautiful tall or short you when it comes it comes like the wind and when you’re gone you’re gone with the wind. You can be here today and gone tomorrow.” She wrote

She advised all to learn from the sudden death of the young songstress. “We must learn from all of this my friends and family l. This death of my friend has given me a rude awakening. Ebony I can not say much but I love you and may your soul Rest In Peace my beautiful angel.”

Efia Odo is known to be good friends with the late songstress. Perhaps, they both ‘clicked’ so well because they had a lot in common.

Talk of beauty, Efia and Ebony cannot be left out. Both cannot be left out of the ladies with natural ‘endowments’ in the showbiz industry as well.

Aside these traits, they were both caught in the same web when it comes to choice of clothes. Well, another thing about them was the fact that both were not fond of putting on ‘brassieres’.

Efia Odo, though being an actress is widely known for what most Ghanaians call ‘indecent dress style’.

Just like the Late Ebony, Efia Odo has also received lots of backlash in terms of her choice of clothes.

However, a close follow up of the actress in for sometime now shows she has changed from her previous choice of clothes to more ‘appropriate ones’.

Ebony Reigns met her untimely death in a gory car collision on Thursday February 8, 2018.

4 Tips For Healthy Relaxed Hair

Relaxed or permed hair seems to be out of fashion. However, there are people out there like me who just cannot bear to go natural.

I mean it’s all about choices. However, in a bid to have relaxed hair, there are some tips that are essential to making the hair healthy. There are many downsides to keeping relaxed hair. However, we are here to ensure that you make the most out of the experience.

Tips For Relaxed Hair

Do not keep relaxing your hair.

You’re supposed to relax every 10-12 weeks. Don’t make it a habit of over-relaxing the hair. It weakens the hair follicles. Also, avoid using too much heat when you have relaxed hair. Try to air dry the hair. Also, avoid flat ironing and blow drying your hair often.

Use coconut oil.

Coconut oil is good for building hair protein. It helps prevent damage to the cuticle/hair as it penetrates deeply into the cortex of the hair. Therefore, little to no protein is lost.

Use protein treatments.

Hair must be treated at least every fortnight. Use products that have “hydrolyzed protein” as they are small enough to penetrate into the hair cortex, i.e. hydrolyzed keratin, hydrolyzed collagen, hydrolyzed animal protein. All these help your hair become thicker and your head fuller.

Cut off split ends.

We know you are trying to grow the hair. However, split ends impede growth of hair. You need to trim off thin ends so that it can grow well and be healthy. Maintain your trimmed ends on a cycle that works for you i.e. mini trims every 8 weeks, trims every 3 or 6 months etc.

Okyeame Kwame On National Thursday African Wear

“President Kuffuor during his time instituted President’s Special Initiative that urged Ghanaians to put on African wear. It has changed the industry. Also, tt has improved the textile industry. It has improved the arts; more tailors became designers, look at the magazines that came up because we started believing in ourselves.”

Furthermore, he called on Ex-President Kuffuor to encourage Nana Addo to add Thursdays to Fridays are official African Wear days.

“I was asking ex-President Kuffuor to tell Akufo-Addo to add the Thursday to the Friday. Then the next President will add the Wednesday, the other one that follows will also add the Tuesday until Mondays which we all find boring, then we wear European clothes. I believe that if we do that, the arts industry will grow.”

He made this appeal after a programme held at the residence of President Kuffuor. The programme was to launch an endowment fund ahead of activities to mark Kuffuor’s 80th birthday which will be celebrated this year.

Okyeame Kwame as part of his role to Kuffuor Foundation will be holding musical concerts to raise funds in support of the cause.
