Delay Allegedly Advised Ahuofe Patri To Stop Smoking

Well, it seems not everyone is quite on board with the usage of marijuana

Ghanacelebrities.com alleges that popular Ghanaian actress Ahuofe Patri is addicted to smoking marijuana. A friend of Ahuofe Patri says she has been long disturbed by the actress’ weed addiction. Ahuofe Patri real name Priscilla Opoku Agyeman has become a source of deep worry to her mother.

She alleges that several people including Deloris Frimpong-Manso (Delay) spoke to Ahoufe Patri. They advised her to quit smoking when she started losing weight drastically but she is not listening.

It is not just only the actress’ family that has been worried. Furthermore, close friends are not also happy about the dark path she has taken.

However, she continues that certain people like Efya, Afia Schwarzenegger and Kwabena Kwabena are dragging her deep into the world of weed addiction.

Stop Calling Me A Gospel Artiste – Cwesi Oteng

Cwesi Oteng has some ideas on how he should be described.

Award-wining Ghanaian gospel singer, Cwesi Oteng is urging Ghanaians to desist from branding him as gospel artiste.

According Cwesi being called a gospel musician in Ghana is ‘baseless and overrated’. He made these statements in an interview on Hitz FM. Cwesi Oteng says Ghanaians should rather call him a Christian. He says this label is appropriate since it perfectly describes his mission as a musician propagating the gospel of Christ.

His Statements

“It’s overused and become baseless to me. I prefer to be called a Christian artiste because it moves with my purpose, plan, and vision. Anyone can be a gospel artiste now so I prefer this,” he told the host. He also added that he is pushing heavenly agenda through his music ministry and wouldn’t want to be limited in his vision.

I don’t want to be urban, contemporary artiste. I am a Christian artiste. People want that, and I am not interested. I was not called to establish that. I am pushing a Christ agenda that is heavenly,” Cwesi said. The ‘Christian’ artiste further lambasted artistes who resort to controversies to express their opinion about others in their bid to be famous.

I think we have a lot of nonsense to face. I am a no nonsense person. But people like to box people with their opinions and I’m not to be boxed. I decided to be a great person when I was growing up and I prepared towards it. I am not arrogant,” Cwesi Oteng.

Tips For A Healthy Weekend

It’s the weekend. I know how the weekend can present the perfect excuse to be a bum. However, it shouldn’t be the case. Why don’t you try something new this weekend? I am presenting tips on how to make this weekend a healthier one.

Stick To Your Usual Sleep Schedule.

Do you follow a strict sleep schedule during the week? I know the weekend can feel like the opportunity to sleep in. However, changing your sleep patterns could throw off your schedule, and could also interfere with weight loss. Just think of all those times you stayed up later than usual, got hungry and ended up eating something unhealthy. Changing your sleep schedule can also make it harder to fall asleep on Sunday night which could set you up for a tired Monday.

Get Outdoors

A lot of us spend the bulk of our week cooped up inside. Also, our offices aren’t the most conducive places ever. However, the weekend provides a nice opportunity to get outside, see the sun and connect with nature. Heading outside can boost your body’s production of vitamin D, plus studies show that people are happier when they spend time out in nature. So, get out there and enjoy the great outdoors.

Workout Longer

The best part of the weekend is that you have more free time. This presents a lot of opportunities to do a longer workout. Try something new with your workout. Try going to your gym for an hour. Use the weekend as a time to refresh your workout and get more activity in without feeling rushed.

Limit The Drinks

While many of us forgo the soda, beer and wine during the week, we loosen up over the weekend and drink more of our calories. Just remember that the calories in beverages can add up quickly if you’re not careful. Go easy on the drinks, or try healthier drink swaps if you just can’t forgo the fancy drinks. Practice moderation when it comes to alcohol, too. Just because you were “good” during the week doesn’t mean that it’s OK to make up for that with one night of all-out binge drinking.

7 Mistakes Men Often Make When Wearing A Business Suit

Men often make mistakes as they don their business suits for interviews, business meetings and networking events — especially young professionals entering the workforce.

Some mistakes are downright cringe worthy, such as leaving the jacket on and buttoned when sitting, which causes the shoulders to rise to the ears.

Other mistakes are less dreadful, but still should be rectified, such as wearing a tie incorrectly.

Keep these five tips in mind when you wear a suit, whether you are just entering the workforce or you need a refresher on what to wear to business functions.

You’re better off dressing down and looking good than dressing up if your clothing doesn’t fit well. If you’ve gained or lost weight, consider getting your suit altered. Don’t go to a meeting with a baggy jacket or tight pants.

1. Black Socks Aren’t Always The Answer

In most cases, socks should match your pants color. Be sure to wear quality over-the-calf dress socks with dress shoes and not crew socks.

2. Don’t Wear Casual-Dress Shoes Instead Of Suit Shoes

Wear suit shoes that have an outer luster, heel and leather sole. The heel height matters too for suit shoes. Casual-dress shoes are better worn with khakis or jeans to dress them up.

3. Be Sure Your Tie Isn’t Too Long Or Too Short

Far too often men wear their ties incorrectly. The tip or point of your tie should touch your belt — not lie above it or below.

4. Your Shoes And Belt Colours

Your belt and shoes should be from the same color family; however, wearing light brown shoes with a dark belt doesn’t sit well with many people. If you opt to wear suspenders instead of a belt, you should never wear both together. Make sure your suspenders match your shoes.

5. Don’t button all the buttons

When a suit jacket has multiple buttons, leave the last button unbuttoned.

Ten(10)Things Women Want to Hear From Their Man

Women are mostly attracted to what they hear.

If there’s one thing that has always kept men wondering about women, it has to be figuring out what they love to hear? Most men would agree that when it comes to compliments and sweet nothings, women can never have enough of it. The more they get, the more they want!

Well, they sometimes end up saying women are difficult to please, but that is actually not the case.

Just as guys love it when their ladies prepare their favorite dish for them or does everything to please them, so do women expect to hear somethings from their men.

So, all that you need to do to impress her is – simply tell her all that she already knows. Yes! Strange but true – whether you are in a committed relationship or worried about she losing interest in you or are an amateur wanting to take your relationship to the next level- If they hear any of these things, they’ll without a doubt feel loved and valued. Remember, apart from showing love to women, they love to be appreciated and valued, even in the little possible way.

Below are seven things every woman wants to hear from her man;

1.Compliment

‘You look gorgeous!’, ‘ Hello Beautiful!’

Women like to know that their man finds them attractive.
If one could list down three things that women can’t live without – they would probably be – good food, a wardrobe to die for and hearty compliments. So, don’t be stingy when it comes to wooing her with a shower of compliments. The more you give, the more you are likely to get in return. Say all that she has been dying to hear – whether it is about her looks, her attire, her figure, professionalism at work or her culinary skills.

2. Ask to Help

Women want their men to want to help them. “Is there anything that I can do for you?” “Can I help you?” “How can I help make things easier on you?” – Those are questions every woman wants to hear. A man who asks to help his woman even in the kitchen is forever loved, even if the relationship comes to an end. The woman will always remember your gestures and help whiles cooking. Sometimes, it’s not necessarily about you helping, asking to do so alone is a relief.

3. Appreciative words

It’s nice to hear thank you or I appreciate you, every once in awhile. A lot of women juggle work and family life – which can be very stressful and exhausting. Women want to know that their hard work is appreciated and recognized.

4. You are My One and Only

While it may seem a bit cliche at times, women want to hear that they are their man’s one and only. It’s nice to believe that fairy tales do exist and that your woman makes your life complete.

Sharing, they say is caring but hey! no woman wants to share her man with another. Even, sometimes, women feel competed with their mothers-in law how much more with other women. Let your woman know how special she is to you.

5.“I love your smile”

It could be her smile, it could be her laugh, or it could be her eyes, but do tell a woman that you appreciate something else about her, more than just her boobs! There is a lot more to love about a woman, than just the usual stereotypical parts of their body. Let a lady know that she is loved for more than that, she deserves it.

6. Tell her you love her

This is one of the most important things girls like to hear. Stop beating around the bush and tell her straight. If you love her, then tell her that you love her. Don’t, whatever you do, leave it too late to let her know that one. It’s probably just what she wants to hear. And don’t assume that she’s already awre you love her so there’s no need for you to tell her.

7.What Do You Think?

Women like to know that their man values their opinion. It’s not necessary for them to agree with it but knowing that he wants to hear what she has to say means the world to her.

8. ‘You Are Great In Bed’

This is sure to make her feel like a sex goddess and sweep away all the inhibitions she had about her performance between the sheets. Praising her performance in bed and telling her that she is simply irresistible, is sure to set the momentum for a sizzling act later. The more you elevate and understand her sexuality, the more willing she will be to explore her wildest fantasies.

Don’t just be grateful for every little effort that she puts to turn you on – say it aloud!

9. Tell her how you feel

Don’t be afraid to tell her how you feel either, because that shows that you are being honest with her and that you trust her enough to open up to her. Tell her how much you love her, but also tell when you are scared. Sharing your innermost emotions with her can only bring you closer together.

10. Nothing at All!

Yes, men there are times when all your woman wants you to do is listen. Sometimes just knowing you’re listening to what is being said makes all the difference.

Which Celeb Rocks Most In Jumpsuits? Check Out 10 Them

Jumpsuits have become a wardrobe staple amongst the fashion set due to their  versatality and ease—they easily transition from day to night and their polished silhouettes give off a sophisticated, put together vibe. Not only that, but a strapless or sleeveless jumpsuit is the ideal base for layering.

It is a one-piece garment with sleeves and legs and typically without integral coverings for feet, hands or head. The original jump suit is the functional one-piece garment used by parachuters.

Designed to insulate the body from the cold of high altitudes and minimize risk of covering important handles and grips, skydivers’ jumpsuits were the simplest.

Today, however, the garment has found other uses.

Basically there are three types; Weekend, Business and Date Night Jumpsuits

You can find them made of different fabric styles these days.

One can even decide the preferred choice of style and the fabric to use. People are generally found in them these days at different functions.

Jumpsuits are generally regarded as a garment of convenience. This is because they are simpler to launder, put on and remove than an ensemble outfit. Unless the jumpsuit has a drop seat, however, it is necessary to remove it entirely for bathroom use.

They have become a part of fashion these days and they don’t look like they’re fading out anytime soon.

Celebrities are seen on various occasions and platforms clad in different styles of jumpsuits.

Ghaflagh.com brings you ten out of the many celebrities spotted slaying in jumpsuits;

Most Gospel Musicians Are Hypocritical – Bulldog

The Chief Executive Officer of BullHaus Entertainment, Bulldog shares his thoughts on gospel musicians.

Bulldog asserts that most of the Ghanaian gospel musicians are ‘hypocrites’.

He made these statements on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM. Bulldog stated that a larger crop of the gospel musicians refrain from speaking their minds to better the country.

He believes gospel musicians across the country portray the ‘holier-than-thou’ attitude. Therefore, this leaves the secular musicians to address matters that affect the society.

His Sentiments

Most of them (gospel musicians) are like us in the secular business -hypocrites. They can’t speak their minds. They have never used their music to influence us positively” he told host, Andy Dosty.

He continued that, “There are a lot things going on in this country that I feel they should be able to sing, preach about and be controversial about. From politics to sports or whatever, but they do nothing. It’s the secular music guys who tend to come out sometimes to speak about the ills in society.”

Furthermore, Bulldog advised various gospel artistes to review and understand the showbiz industry. He tell them to view it as a business entity with lot of controversial concerns.

Jesus was a controversial character, he defied all odds. They have gotten it wrong. Christianity is a huge and radical business and if you can’t be radical you should forget it. They use the word of God to intimidate and be timid.

If they want to be controversial doing gospel music, they should actually preach, push and fight for the agenda of the word. People died for it. Jesus Christ died for it.” he maintained.
