Fast growing media organization in Ghana, Zylofon Media has apologized to fans of Stonebwoy over Shatta Wale’s grand unveiling.

Ghanaians witnessed the unveiling of  Shatta Wale as their newest member in a grand ceremony last Wednesday.

The ceremony was a much publicized one last Wednesday. It took place at their plush East Legon office in Accra and was broadcast live on Zylofon TV.

However, immediately after the event, fans of Stonebwoy, who was signed onto the label earlier attacked the media outlet on social media.

They criticized Zylofon for what they believed was the giving of too much prominence to Shatta Wale over their idol.

Spokesperson For Zylofon Media’s Apology Message;

But Spokesperson for Zylofon, Sammy Baah ‘Flex’ has come out to apologize for the occurrence.

“We apologize to fans of Stonebwoy for that. Nobody intends to give prominence to one over other artiste. He explained on Kumasi-based Abusua FM that all artists are their priority and not only Shatta Wale.

According to him, the label didn’t have many contacts with the media at the time stonebwoy was unveiled. This he said led to the little prominence given to Stonebwoy and other artistes.

Mr. Baah hinted that, the “Freedom” hit maker personally requested to bring his fans along to the ceremony.

“The man put up an open invitation on facebook and you know the number of fans Shatta has”. Sammy said.

“All the twelve artists the record label has signed are equally important and we shall give equal priority to them as well”, he added.

Stonebwoy, on the other hand, has come out to congratulate his brother Shatta welcoming him to the new family.
