Kill Beatz Honored At 2018 Grammy Awards
Ghanaian record producer/beat maker, Killbeatz has made history of becoming the first Ghanaian to receive an award at the Grammy awards.
The 60th Grammy Awards came off on Sunday at the Madison Square Gardens in New York, USA. Killbeatz won an award on the night for his active involvement in a music project which won an award.
The song “Bibia Be Ye Ye” which was produced by Killbeatz happens to be on British singer Ed Sheeran’s “Divide’ album which won Best Pop Vocal album at the 2018 Grammys.
UK-based Ghanaian artiste Fuse ODG also features on the song.
Though the award itself goes to Ed Sheeran, a certificate showing Killbeatz’ involvement on the song will be awarded to him.
Fuse ODG, also won an award on the night for co-writing Ed Sheeran’s ‘Dived’ album. Ed Sheeran’s “Divide” album is his third studio album which was released on 3rd March 2017.
Killbeatz, born Joseph Addison is one of the best beat makers and record producers in Ghana.He has produced for the crème de la crème of the Ghanaian music industry as well as several international artistes.

Joseph Addison acquired the name “KillBeatz” from his friend paedae because he is said to “kill” every beat or production he laid his hands on.
He won the 2016/2017 Producer of the Year awards at the Ghana Music Awards 2017 with Adina’s Too Late song.
He is also the 2013/2014 Best Producer at The Ghana Music Awards.
