Garissa Siege: Gunmen Attack Moi University, Garissa Campus, Scores Trapped and Injured

Masked gunmen have attacked Moi Univeristy, Garissa campus, heavy gunfire has been reported as police and the military engage the attackers today morning.

Scores of students are reportedly injured as the university is taken under siege.

Masked gunmen stormed the University today morning as students went for morning prayers and indiscriminately opened fire at them.

Reports coming out of the university indicate that there are a number of casualties as the gunmen are still holding quite a number hostage.

It is also reported that Police and military have surrounded the university as they engage the gunmen.

Reports also indicate that many students are feared injured as forces try to get access to the university.
