Galito’s Moi Avenue Opens After Renovations
After close to two months of being closed down for rennovations, Galitos City Center is finally back in operation. The Union Towers outlet opened up over this past weekend, on the 30th of June 2012, to a series of delighted customers who flocked to see just what was new about the ‘new’ outlet.
The branch features a fresh paint job, new tiling, a slightly extended menu and an overall cleaner and fresher experience in line with the company commitment to high standards of delivery.
Galito’s, a chain of franchise grilled chicken restaurants came to Kenya in 2006, thanks to the efforts of Innscor Kenya Limited which has been in operation in the country for over 10 years. Initially started as Nando’s, the rebrand took place after Innscor and Nando’s parted ways in August 2007, with Nando’s seeking a new franchize partner and Innscor changing the outlets to Galito’s.
The company runs other franchises which include Bakers Inn, Creamy Inn, Vasilis, Chicken Inn and Pizza Inn but has continued to receive stiff competition fo rthe fast food market from other market players such as Steers Kenya, Kenchic and the latest entrant, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC).
Started in South Africa, these restaurants specialize in Portuguese-style spiced chicken as well as American favourites like cheese burgers and fried chicken.
