Former Radio Presenter Accused Of Conning People Of Money!
Last night the internets were rent with allegations and counter allegations. At the root of which was a lass, Wanjirû wá Dõrõ @ShiruMumbi claiming that former Hits FM radio personality @KoomeGitobu had acquired some monies from her through fraudulent practices.
According to the lass, the lad had asked her for 56,000/- Kenya shillings but because she couldn’t give him that kind of monies, she helped him out with the little that she could. On his part, the lad accepts that this is indeed an accurate depiction of the situation as he was in a tight spot having quit employment to pursue his passion.
That is where the similarities in this sordid tale end. From here on out, the lass claims that… Wait, let me let her tell her own side of the story:

The mutual friend told me that He’s a Mean guy and he shuts off all his friends.. He feels like he owns the whole world.
I sent him cash kidogo tu just to help him.. I used to send him airtime to help him borrow cash from his pals.
He started giving me PRESSURE!!!! Like asking me kila siku if I patad cash to give him. He needed sijui 56K

Yes, I know @ShiruMumbi We were good friends at some point,and we got close enough we shared to each other our problems.
Yes,I went thru a rough patch in my life. I’ve never pretended to be perfect. At the time Shiru offered to help. I said I can handle it.
She claimed “She had so much money she didn’t know what to do with it” I told her thanks,but I’ll fight my own battles.
Things took a rough turn & I turned to my friends for Help. Shiru insisted she would help me & also insisted I don’t pay her back.

Anyway,I took a gamble. Left employment,started my own company & struggled to grow it. There were a few missed bills. Such is life.
But I’m back on my feet now. And I’m grateful to the friends who helped me weather one of the darkest storms in my life.
To @ShiruMumbi I say it again. You helped me get thru some tough times. And I thank you for it.
But yes people. Me & Shiru fell out. Badly. I won’t say why because I’m a mature adult who doesn’t air laundry OR issues in public.
And guess who is the person who started all this? Shee Waruinge. Just 15min ago she was all up in my WhatsApp. Things didn’t go her way..[1]
[2]..So now she has decided to go on a smear Campaign. Shee,I can Screen shot the things you’ve said [and shown] but I am a mature adult.
Women here need to learn to take rejection gracefully. Just because a man turns you down isn’t reason to try & tarnish his name…
