The only revered female DJ on the land, DJ Pierra Makena is arguably everybody’s favourite. Her skill on the decks and the manner in which she scratches, mixes and executes music puts her on her own galaxy. Don’t forget the beauty and of course the sexy Njuri Ncheke voice.

Apart from being a renowned DJ, Pierra Makena is a talented actress whose prowess as a thespian earned her a role in the famous Nollywood film When Love Comes Around.

And the supportive role Pierra played in this film has earned her a nomination to the coveted NAFCA 2015 Awards (Nollywood and African Film Critics’ Award).

 

The awards gala is expected to go down come 2th of September 2015 at the iconic Orpheum Theatre, Los Angeles USA and will air worldwide.

Pierra is highly elated after landing the nomination thanks to the role she played in the aforementioned film.
