For All The Glitzy Cars and New Buildings The New Jubilee Party Has Failed to Pay Delegates

Jubilee Alliance Party got up to a hyped up launch and yet already there are pressing grumbles within the party ranks.

For the whole week the new party has created a huge buzz and set tongues wagging with their show of might and resources. While this provoked much of the desired reaction the bubble busted as soon as the delegates meeting started. Having ferried thousands of delegates from as far as Isiolo to Kasarani the delegates immediately started agitating for their allowances.

Some of the delegates are said to be stranded in Bomas lacking fare. The delegates say they were promised 10,000/- per day and for the 3 days they are demanding Kshs.30,000. However, by the end of yesterday they had only received Kshs. 3,000.  The delegates threatened to stop the proceedings of the new launch and booed several speakers like Murkomen.

The smaller parties’ delegates were also complaining citing discrimination saying TNA and URP are enjoying better services.  Currently the party is under ridicule especially from the opposition quarters and the issue is currently trending under #PayJubileeDelegates
