After a period of lackluster hip- hop releases from some of the leading lights around, Kayvoh Kforce offers something worthwhile in his recent hit ‘Stay Alive’.

In this laid back, hit that covers his struggle to stay in life and music you get everything that has marked him out as one of the best hip hop artists in the country.  A tight flow in both languages, great lyrics and a simple effectively done video are all the hallmarks of the new hit. The intro marks it out that this will be a song the artist will not go ham on.

It is not laden with social conscious stuff but you do not get blank lines either. He seamlessly blends fast rhymes and slower ones taking holding you all through to the cool beat and the lovely performance. However, you get the feeling he could do more but then this is a feel good relaxing song. Here is the video
