Fallen KTN Anchor Ahmed Darwesh Had Premonition About His Death
Kenyans were taken aback by the sudden demise of KTN Swahili news anchor Ahmed Darwesh. Apparently the deceased talked about his death on several occasions.
Ahmed Darwesh passed on in December last year. He reportedly succumbed to Diabetes, he was battling the deadly disease for a while.
Darwesh’s widow told SDE her fallen husband discussed his death on several occasions. She says the first time Darwesh talked about his death was when she had given birth to their son.
She says Darwesh was sick when his son was born at Mater Hospital. Mrs. Darwesh says she called her husband from the hospital to check on him and he jokingly told her not to worry about him since he had a short time to live.
Darwesh’s widow told SDE her husband also told their child he would ‘depart and leave them with their mother’. The wife protested his statement but Darwesh just smiled.
Darwesh was rushed to Mater Hospital on December 14th after condition worsened, he was pronounced dead upon arrival to the hospital.
