Expectant Mother Among 2 Who Died On The Spot Last Night As Matatu Heading To Imara Daima Overturned Just Outside Standard Group On Mombasa Road (Photos)

A VERY bad accident happened last night on Mombasa Road just outside Standard Group Center. The grisly accident left 2 dead with scores injured!

An Indima-Nje Sacco bus heading towards Imara Daima rolled as the driver was trying to avoid hitting a motorcycle.

Several passengers were thrown off the 32-seater matatu as it veered off the road before it finally stopped.

An expectant mother was among two passengers who died on the spot. Several other injured passengers were rushed to the nearby Mater hospital.

The police are yet to confirm the number of casualties. Photos from the scene of accident were shared by motorists plying Mombasa road.
