Exclusive: Even Before He’s Done Enjoying The Accolades Of His New Song, Popular Comedian Splashes Major Dirt On Bahati. Terms Him A Sham, A Snitch And Living A Lie
Bahati is living a lie, that’s according to his former friend turned foe ‘Njoro wa Mboga’.
Before Bahati launched his new song ‘In Love’ at KICC on Tuesday night, he sent invitation cards to friends, family and fans
Alex Mathenge was among the lucky few who got the invitation cards; Bahati and him know each other in depth.
But Alex didn’t attend Bahati’s video launch at KICC. Instead he took the invite and recorded a video titled “Bahati Mockery Video: I don’t attend fake gospel ministries!!”, and uploaded it on YouTube before he threw the invite in the dustbin.
“This small boy has the liberty to invite me for his sham ‘gospel’ music launch after what happened between him and I. Boy you are going nuts.” Alex captioned his video.
Ghafla! Was curious to find out why Alex was splashing dirt on the humble Bahati. By the way Alex Mathenge is a comedian popularly known as ‘Njoro wa Mboga’ on viral Orange TV advert.
Alex Mathenge
We contacted Alex to seek explanations for his bitterness and sheer distaste, and Alex opened up to us spilling the beans on Bahati.
To start with, Alex revealed he used to be friends with Bahati and he’s actually the one responsible for his social media pages before Bahati disrespected him and fired him altogether.
Friction between Alex and Bahati started sometimes in January when Bahati took a sabbatical from social media. He deleted all of his posts on Instagram and went silent on Facebook.
Apparently Bahati’s disappearance was meant to give him relevance so that he could get traction when he launched his song “Itakuwa Sawa”, Alex told Ghafla. He however took a bit long and Alex decided to take things into his own hands and he posted a condolence message to fallen KDF soldiers killed in Somalia; huge mistake!
Bahati was furious, he was deranged! He didn’t want anything to posted on those pages. The extent of Bahati’s exasperation became evident to Alex when snitched on him to the police with claims that he had posted photos of dead KDF soldiers killed in Somalia which the Cabinet secretary had banned.
Alex was arrested and taken to Kasarani police station but was later released as police didn’t have any evidence to charge him.
After the incident however, it was clear things would never be the same. Alex steered clear of Bahati’s path avoiding him like the deadly Ebola virus. He even handed over his pages to him to do with them as he wished and he didn’t want anything in return. He was clearly done with this person which he didn’t comprehend anymore.
Like he explained in his video, Alex claims Bahati is portraying a different image to the public while his own true character was stinking, he couldn’t believe it when he received that invitation card. It was truly a mockery to him.
Ghafla! tried reaching Bahati for a right of reply but he didn’t respond to our calls. We texted him too but he ended up giving us blue ticks.
