E-Sir’s Legacy Lives On: Nameless Pays Special Tribute to E-Sir on His Birthday

Every year around this time many of hip hop fans take some time out and reflect on the life and times of Issah Mmari better known as E-Sir to commemorate the anniversary of his birth.

With each passing year it’s interesting to note that as a younger generation grows older, icons like E-Sir don’t seem to mean as much. For example, I’m not sure I heard anyone shout him out during the music awards until recently when industry heavyweights congregated at Carnivore for what was dubbed, “Industry Nite” to celebrate the icon.

Anyway, today E-Sir would be turning 33 years and one of his tightest friends and former stable-mate, Nameless, has shared special message to the legend on his birthday.

“Ahsante Baba kwa kunisaidia kujua,ukiotesha mazuri, mazuri utavuna, tangu siku yangu ya kuzaliwa…….Would have been your 33rd Birthday today. We will always celebrate you through your music. Happy Birthday #E_SIR. FOREVER YOUNG”
