Drug Lord?? After Citizen TV, Sonko Is Once Again Linked To Drug Menace In Kenya

Philanthropic Nairobi Senator, Mike Sonko, has been under siege for the better part of the week with different entities linking him to drug tragedy in the country.

It all started with Citizen TV’s intentional/unintentional jibe in which they used Sonko’s photo in a tweet about effects of marijuana usage.

Gay gospel singer Joji Baro has since followed suit to haul Sonko’s name back into the center of drug menace in Kenya.

Joji Baro fell out with the Nairobi Senator after Sonko called for the burning of a notorious gay prostitute in Mombasa called Amina.

The Star newspaper wrote an article telling Sonko to respect gays saying they were not non-humans. Joji Baro used the Star article to fire at the lawmaker saying he was a drug lord who ruined the lives of many youth.
