Drama at B-Club as Chris Obure Brandishes a gun while Threatening to shoot a fellow reveller

Now to start with, I don’t mean Chris Obure the politician but Chris the Nairobi tycoon.

He’s successful, well connected and pretty much ostentatious- flashing off his wealth to anyone who cares to look.

As it’s synonymous with many rich men in Nairobi, he owns a gun which he doesn’t hesitate to bring out at the slightest provocation- to show off to the girls sometimes when the whiskey has kicked in proper.

The last time he brandished his gun, a fellow reveler got hurt while at the same time causing unnecessary pandemonium in a club in Westlands.

But like we said, he’s very well connected and nothing happened to him.

He recently just did it last Friday at Kilimani’s B-club when he threatened to shoot a man. Why? Because he was told to stop double parking his Range Rover and allow the man to pass and leave the parking lot. He didn’t shoot the man but he broke the window of his Passat.

This has led to public outcry and the police have since taken action and they have asked him to surrender the firearm as more investigations are conducted.

Mr. Obure has since in the last 2 months has been involved in over 5 cases of gun misuse which clearly shows something is wrong. Are the police waiting for him to actually kill someone so that they can take proper action?
