Jacob Juma’s death deservedly hogged all the media attention but just in the same vein his burial and the rituals said to have accompanied it have filled public discussion since his body was buried.

Early today #TorchWentOff was the trending subject a reference to the torch the businessman was buried with to look for his killers and according to popular belief, should it go off, the killers would meet dire consequences.

Coming from the highly superstitious community of the Luhya, especially on matters death, Juma’s murder has had many of the region’s elders calling for investigations and now Kakamega Senator Bony Khalwale is calling for the DP to speak on the matter given the several times the late businessman tweeted saying the DP posed threats.
