DP Ruto Rescued In Kapendo After His Chopper Lost Direction And Ran Out Of Fuel

Ruto’s chopper ‘burnt’ lot of fuel after it lost direction for hours and got stranded in Kapedo area.

It seems the Deputy President has no luck with choppers or something… Just the other day his pilot, Alistair, showed him in bad light after he was involved in a confrontation with a female officer.

Ruto once again found himself in another awkward situation with a chopper over the weekend when the helicopter he was travelling in lost direction.

The Deputy was picked from Kericho on Saturday by a chopper which was to drop him off in Baringo to attend a public function.

But the DP’s chopper lost direction and found itself in Kapedo area. The Standard reports that Ruto’s chopper kept doing rounds in Kapedo as the pilot, Stefan from South Africa, tried to locate Tangulbei where he was to land.

The pilot was forced to land at Kapedo at the foot of Silale Hills after running low on fuel. Another chopper had to be dispatched to pick the DP and fly him to Baringo.
