There is a section of people who don’t think women can excel on their own without a man or two to support their success. It’s for this reason that seasoned female blogger, Linda Ikeji, made it clear she didn’t Vera Sidika herself to buy the luxurious mansion.

“My name is Linda Ikeji. I’m a blogger. I’m 35 years old and I have never, never ever in my life slept with a man for money. Not only have I never done it, I have never even considered it. And here I am with a house that cost me over half a billion naira.”

For starters, a half a billion naira is equivalent to a quarter a billion Kenyan shillings, so it’s still a lot of money for folks whose bank accounts have never read past 6 figures.

Anyhow, Linda Ikeji is one of the best bloggers in the continent. She commands a huge following from across the world so she’s a darling of multinational companies who want to market their brands. That explains her source of income.

The Nigerian blogger has been causing pandemonium ever since news broke she bought a 3-storey mansion in Banana Island area of Ikoyi, Nigeria’s equivalent of Runda, Karen and Kileleshwa, plus State House put together.
