Diamond Platnumz’s Touching Tribute To Mzee Ojwang
The country is in a somber mood after one of its oldest and finest actors in Mzee Ojwang Hatari of Vitimbi succumbed to Pneumonia yesterday evening at the Kenyatta National Hospital.
The death of Mzee Ojwang is a big blow to the acting industry in Kenya and beyond. He was one of the pioneers of comedy and acting in Kenya and beyond.
And as President Uhuru Kenyatta and other Kenyans mourn the fallen hero, Tanzania’s all time top singer Diamond Platnumz has joined the country in mourning and celebrating a man considered the greatest actor of all time in Kenya.
Vitimbi was everyone’s favourite TV programme when Mzee Ojwang and Mama Kayai were on screen. Everyone would spare their time to watch them.
Through one of his social media accounts, Diamond has paid tribute to Mzee Ojwang, saying that his legacy will always linger on amidst us.
