Daddy Owen’s Tribute Awards to People Living with Disabilities Goes Down
Last night, Award winning gospel singer and mentor, Daddy Owen, hosted the 2nd edition of the Malaika Tribute Awards at an exceedingly colourful gala at the Windsor Hotel. The event saw who-is-who in showbiz attend the auspicious awards ceremony.
All the winners of the night walked away with Sh100,000 cash prize among other gifts from different corporate bodies like Safaricom, that appreciate persons living with disability. The night was pretty inspirational with poignant experiences from celebrated poet, Sitawa Wafula, Stacey, Daisy and others.
The ceremony also saw the official unveiling of Malaika Trust website.
The awards were be hosted by Malaika Trust (founded by Daddy Owen) to celebrate the achievements of remarkable people who have overcome their disabilities and their quest to make a difference in the world.
