Controversial Blogger Dennis Itumbi Asks The Attorney General To Release I.C.C Letters That Led To His Arrest

Dennis Itumbi underwent quite the baptism of fire last year when he was accused of leaking the identities of I.C.C witnesses. and from then, his life went on a roller coaster ride of accusations and counter-accusations before he was finally cleared of the allegations.

But that isn’t enough for the man. he wants to know why he was arrested and on what evidence the state had received that led them to believe he should be held as a guest of the state.

Itumbi argues that the ICC conspired with the government to have him arrested, but ICC has publicly rejected the allegations. If the Muigai releases the letters and confirm that ICC was behind his arrest, then he intents to return the ICC at The Hague and file a fresh charge against the office of the prosecutor. But if the letters confirm that the ICC was not behind his arrest and subsequent harassment, then Itumbi would sue the government seeking compensation that could run into millions of shillings.
