CNN Multichoice African Journalist 2015 Awards Are Here Again… Is Another Kenyan Journalist In Line To Clinch The Prestigious Award Again?

It is another year and it is the 20th anniversary of the CNN Multichoice African Journalist awards, awards that are given to the most outstanding African journalists who have excelled in their professions.

The awards seek to recognize journalists whose work has been applauded world over and as had an impact in many people’s lives.

Kenya’s Joseph Mathenge is the current of the award after his images from the Westgate terror attack were recognized the world over after they were published by the Standard Newspaper.

Mathenge was immensely recognized for his role to create a clear picture of what transpired during the Westgate attack which left 67 people dead and several others injured.

KTN’s John Allan Namu has also won the award before thanks to his role as an investigative journalist who went to greater heights to uncover the most untold stories of our time.

And now 2015 is here.

The big question we are asking ourselves is, “Will a Kenyan journalist once again clinch the title?”
