Kenya’s new kid on the block in terms of music production, Candy n Candy Records, has in the past few months gained a lot of ground not only in Kenya but Tanzania as well. The record label has so far signed Tanzanian big-shots like Mr Nice, Baby Madaha and Top C.

According to the stable’s CEO Joe Kariuki, Candy n Candy is the next big recording house as it aims at revolutionizing music production in East Africa. With two offices/studios in the country; Nairobi and Mombasa, the label is not leaving anything to chance.

With all this hype, I got interested and decided to check out their Mombasa offices. Their state of the art recording facility is not only the best but also the most affordable tracking space in the country as the label offers an incomparably accessible price.
