Celebs Condemn the Umoja Train – Bus Accident

Ten people have so far been confirmed dead following an accident involving a train headed to Ruiru and an UmoInner Sacco matatu in Umoja area in Nairobi. The town-bound matatu was crossing the railway line as the train approached before ramming into and dragging it for several metres.

The early morning incident has set Twitter ablaze with Kenyans pointing fingers at the matatu crew for recklessness. Celebs too were not left behind in castigating matatu drivers of the notorious sacco.

Innocent people died today morning as they were going to work. Action needs to be taken against the Bus company. Kenyans forget too quickly. Whoever is involved, let them not go unpunished.
