Tall tales are told of mysteries, and in as much as science tries to explain the mysteries, we are left a little more confounded than we were when it happened. We can call them Coincidences if we may, or we can chose to call them miracles, Just like a Mosque was the only thing that was left standing in Aceh,Indonesia last December after a Tsunami,just like a Japanese pagoda remained put after being nuked, just like Mayan temples never collapse during an Earthquake when the rest of Mexico and Guatemala are in shambles… catch the drift? 

 Yesterday, Cardinal Otunga high school was closed down indefinitely after a series of fires ravaged  3 dormitories of a school that has been the epitome of schooling in Kisii. Before closure, the school has been on the news for the past years for fire incidences that the school administration has blamed on arson. The School will remain closed as the police carry out their investigations. 

However, it is these images that caused a stir on the internet. 

Eric Abuga Mo, a journalist  who went to seek news after the fire noticed that among the “burnt beyond recognition” items, a lone bible remained… unscathed by the inferno that had burnt metal boxes..
