Bungoma Man Rides 400km With Just A Black Mamba, 20 ‘Kangumus’ And 3 Liters Of Water (Photo)

Bungoma county  is back in the news. As is with mot previous cases it is as a result of something pretty extraordinary and even a first.

A man from Bungoma Ken Wafula  rode an old but trusty black mamba from his home in Kanduyi Bungoma all the way to Lodwar to watch a football match. Ken Wafula say he is a football fan and a diehard supporter of his local secondary school team Bukembe High School which is participating in the regional games there.

He basically travelled a disntance of about 400 Kilometers and according to him in just a day. He left Bungoma on Sunday morning and by evening he was at Kainuk Township in Turkana where the police at the point would not let him pass forcing him to wait and get to the main Town Lodwar on Monday morning. He took about 27 hours.

You may think he had anything special but Wafula only had 20 ‘Kangumus’ and three liters of water through the whole rough and tiring terrain. His endurance, skill and strength can sure see him on quite a good level in the Tour De France. The school has promised to take him back on their bus on the return journey.
