Boniface Mwangi’s Present To Uhuru On His Birthday Complete With A Dedication Song

Today was Uhuru’s 54th birthday and with the country engulfed in a myriad of political, economical and social issues, you would have thought today is the day people would leave him to take a break.

On the contrary, rather than face long lists of best wishes and be opening numerous presents, the president is faced witha long bucket list. From politicians to activists to KOT, everyone had a message of what the president of Kenya should do. Infact KOT had the #WHATUHURUSHOULDDO trending. However, Activist extraordinaire, Boniface Mwangi chose a different tact, penning a letter.

It is not the first time Boniface Mwangi penned a letter to Uhuru Kenyatta. However, this time he was more hard hitting taking time to trace the current issues from the founding father’s era. He challenged Uhuru to match the lasting legacies achieved by people much younger from Malcom X to Martin Luther King Jr to Bob Marley.

The letter covers Kenyatta’s family riches, to corruption to Jubilee’s policy. At the end note, the letter even had a dedication song, ‘Sheria’ by Sarabi featuring Juliani. Get the full letter here.
