Boniface Mwangi: A Thorn In The Flesh For The High And Mighty

Controversial Rights Activist Boniface Mwangi has a long history of rubbing the most powerful and prominent people in the country the wrong way.

His recent claims that Deputy President William Ruto was linked to the death of businessman only adds to an increasing list of confrontations with high placed personalities in Kenya today.

Perhaps the most scathing attack was on none other than the President himself last year when he labeled the Head of State an “alcoholic”.

In a lengthy article posted on his Facebook page, Mwangi said that Uhuru’s alcoholic problem should no longer be hidden and should be instead used as a way for tackling the disease in the country.

In the article, Mwangi also alleges that Fidel Odinga, son to opposition leader Raila Odinga died of a drug overdose but the family wanted the country to believe it was something else.

In a swift reaction, MP Moses Kuria while defending the President called Mr Mwangi a “Devil” selling our country to the West during a heated debate on NTV’s “The Trend”.

Mwangi rubbished the MPs claims and referred to the legislator as a sycophant of rapists and murderers.

Below is a list of several personalities who Mwangi has had altercations with especially on social media platforms.

1. President Uhuru Kenyatta
2. Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria
3. Media Personality Julie Gichuru
4. Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi
5. Prophet David Owuor
