Big Pin Unveils Music Scratch Cards
One of Kenya’s urban music pioneers, Big Pin, has unveiled his Mdundo scratch cards.
The musician burst into the scene with an E-Sir collaboration (Huu Mwaka) and solidified his place in the industry with his self-titled release. A few weeks ago, Mdundo gave artistes Kshs. 3.8 million worth of scratch cards after the official launch of the service at a seminar in December to sensitize artistes on money-making opportunities.
Mdundo is a new service that allows users to download music using scratch cards. Mdundo’s aim is to be the premier mobile music platform in Kenya with their unique system of selling music scratch cards. The music is available online on mdundo.com.
Among the artistes who have signed so far include Nazizi, Octopizzo, Mbuvi, Juliani, Alice Kamande, Israel Mugisha, Collo, Chris Adwar, Mercy Masika, Bamboo, Dan-Gee, Parking Lot Grass and The Villagers’ Band among others.
