BET Is Coming To Kenya In Search Of Local Talent For A Continental Show. It’s Also Offering A Prize Package Worth Millions

Thespians have all reasons to smile given that BET will be in Kenya to give them a once in a lifetime opportunity to get the much needed international exposure and a chance to walk home a millionaire.

BET reality show ‘Top Actor Africa’ is on the hunt for the hottest acting talent in the continent. And its door is open to anyone and everyone without discrimination.

‘Top Actor Africa’, which initially was a South Africans affair, season 1, has expanded its search for acting talent to include the entire Africa continent.

Kenyan auditions will be held at Kenya National Theatre, The Kenyan Cultural Centre, Harry Thuku Rd, Nairobi (Opposite Fairmont Norfolk Hotel) on Saturday 10 October 2015.

‘Top Actor Africa’ will test the actors to the limits over seven weeks in nine vigorous acting challenges, taking them through every genre from comedy, Theatre, Soapie, Commercial, Romance, Horror, Drama and Action.

Along the way, the selected thespians will work with Hollywood and local industry experts including celebrity actors, casting agents, directors, producers, managers and writers.

Now the most interesting part; contestants stand a chance of winning Kes 1 million in cash, a one-year contract with international representation, and access to Hollywood auditions.
