Begging To Be Banned? Sultry Dancers from the Coast Cause Uproar As They Expose Too Much Skin in a Steamy Music Video

We live in a country where even something as mild as ‘Nishike’ is banned and some crazy Jamaican videos are allowed on national TV

In recent years, we have seen the banning of P-Unit’s and Collo’s ‘You Guy’, the banning of ‘Wabe’ done by Gabu Ft. Dj Joe Mfalme & Frasha and the banning of Blaqy’s ‘Money Maker’ due to their explicit nature. Explicit in the sense that, the dancers ‘showed too much skin’.

Kenyans are now up in arms after coast musicians Sis P & Dazlah released ‘Uchoyo’ which features dancers clad in bikinis and lingerie and the lead singer herself in variety of bikinis and lingerie.

Here are some reactions to ‘Uchoyo’

khamisi Mohammed :ujinga khalid kazi gani mombasani hyo sipoa audio iko poa video mbovu umeniudhi khalid unadalilisha mama zetu

Agava Isabwa: The song is crap as my friend on the comments here has said. The song has nothing new to amaze about. Just a bunch of cliche words put together with a wacky beat that’s not even dance-able. The video is just a video. We have seen semi nude videos before and this is simply a copy cat of the answers. The whole thing is down the drain. All thumps down (sic)
